Abstract

This research is a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach using interview and survey data collection techniques that aim to gain an in-depth understanding of the patient experience in online hospital registration. The research participants included staff, patients, and patients' families who used the online registration system at Muhammadiyah Bandung Hospital. The results of this study show that patients' experiences with the online registration system include phenomenological aspects. Patients described changes to registration, including ease of access, flexibility of scheduling, and ease of registration through the application or hospital website. It was stated that patients could register online at any time if they wanted to visit. In addition, some patients experienced difficulties in using the online registration system. For example, the clinic you want to visit has a limited quota, the doctor's schedule is not updated, or other obstacles. The use of an online registration system also has benefits in reducing queues at the hospital. Patients said they could avoid long queues and shorten waiting times by registering themselves online. The study concluded that patients' experiences with online registration involved changes in access, control, and waiting time. Although there were some challenges, patients found solutions and benefits in the online registration system. This study highlights the importance of continuously improving technical, interface, and user experience improvements to provide patients with a better experience when using the online registration system.

Abstract

The importance of implementing ergonomics in a hospital environment to improve the occupational safety and health of service workers. Service workers at Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Bandung work in an environment that is not ergonomic, they are more vulnerable to health problems such as fatigue, muscle and joint injuries, and even the risk of accidents. The purpose of this study was to determine ergonomic risk control on occupational safety of service personnel at the Muhammadiyah Bandung Hospital. The research method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research techniques were interviews and observations to service officers of the information unit, outpatient registration, and logistics. The results showed that service officers at the Muhammadiyah Bandung Hospital experienced complaints at work due to facilities that were not ergonomic, such as chairs, tables, narrow rooms, and leaking roofs. To reduce the risk of work accidents, hospital management checks the facilities in each room unit every 3 (three) months and conducts training on ergonomic risk control so that officers are more aware and understand the importance of ergonomics to health.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the procurement of non-medical logistics related to the availability of goods at Hospital X Bandung. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection through interviews and direct observation. The findings show that the non-medical logistics procurement process involves several stages and parties, including the Head of Non-Medical Logistics Department, Logistics Manager, Director, Finance Department, and Business Actors. The accumulation of goods in the logistics department is caused by overstocking and inadequate storage space conditions. To address these issues, it is recommended to improve the inventory management system, provide training to staff, optimize storage space, improve coordination between parties, and conduct regular evaluations. This study emphasizes the importance of effective and efficient logistics management in supporting hospital operations and improving the quality of health services.

Abstract

Blockchain is a technology based on cryptography which uses the principle of distributed ledgers (distributed ledgers) distribution) provides a variety of advantages, especially in security matters. Use of distributed ledgers as the basis of blockchain technology turns out to be very similar to that concept is very familiar among libraries, namely LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Save). This is the meeting point between blockchain technology and libraries. Starting from here, possibilities open up for libraries to implement blockchain technology. Various potential applications of blockchain technology for libraries include: procurement and maintenance of library materials, innovation in circulation services, cataloging, guaranteed protection of personal data and library membership cards, e-book publishing, support for scientific publications and digital rights management, management special collections, research support, financial literacy and UKTS library analysis. However, on the other hand, there are also challenges and obstacles that accompany efforts to implement blockchain technology in UKTS libraries, including: limited knowledge of blockchain technology, challenges in being able to choose the right blockchain, the large costs that must be incurred by libraries starting from implementation costs, maintenance costs to the costs of developing the blockchain system itself, and the last and quite sensitive issue is that there are still some people in scientific circles who think that the issue of personal data security in the blockchain system is not completely safe.

Abstract

Public street lighting plays an important role in enhancing safety and comfort in urban areas. However, the use of conventional energy for public street lighting significantly contributes to greenhouse gas emissions. This research aims to study the optimization of solar energy usage in public street lighting systems to reduce urban emissions. The methods used include energy efficiency analysis, case studies of solar energy-based public street lighting implementation, and environmental impact evaluation. The results of the study show that the application of solar energy technology in public street lighting can increase energy efficiency by up to 30% and reduce CO2 emissions by 25% compared to conventional systems. In the case study of public street lighting in the city of Binjai, the reduction in carbon emissions reached 99.96%. Additionally, this study also identifies key factors affecting the success of implementation, such as technical design, initial costs, and government policy support. Therefore, optimizing solar energy-based public street lighting not only has the potential to reduce negative environmental impacts but also supports sustainable urban development.

Abstract

A total number of 3 growing rabbits about two weeks old were used in an experiment that lasted for 2 weeks. To investigate the growing effect of Pterocarpus erinaceus on growing rabbits. Three experimental diets, T1, T2, and T3 containing 0 %, 2.5 and 5 % of Pterocarpus erinaceus meal respectively were formulated, and three rabbits were randomly assigned to each diet. Daily feed intake was significantly higher in animals receiving Pterocarpus erinaceus bark meal than in animals on the control diet. Body weight changes of the animals on T1 were significantly higher than those on T2 and T3. The feed conversion ratio was the same in both T1, T2 and T3. The result of this experiment reveals that Pterocarpus erinaceus bark meal can be used in the diet for growing rabbits at a 5 % dietary level to enhance feed intake and weight gain thereby growing rabbits without compromising feed efficiency. The insight from the medicinal point of view makes the feed potent for ailment treatment and enhances both PCV and Hb. The initial PCV before the administration of the feed was for T1; 20.30 %, T2; 20.70 %, and T3; 21.68 %. After the administration of the feed, the final PCV was for T1; 24.60 % T2; 27.20 %, and T3; 28.20%. In the case of Hb, the initial Hb for T1 was 6.8, T2 was 6.9 and T3 was 7.2 whereas, after the administration of the feed, the final Hb for T1 was 8.2 g/dL, T2 was 9.2 g/dL and T3 was 9.4 g/dL. The use of Pterocarpus erinaceus as a natural source in meal preparation may help to reduce cost of feed preparation, improve, maintain and supplement to meet daily requirements of essential nutrients by reducing the use of synthetic food supplements.
