Abstract

The constantly changing price of gold in the world can worry gold investors, so accurate and fast data is needed to respond to these changes. The role of technology and appropriate procedures is crucial in addressing these challenges. This research will discuss the Prediction of World Gold Prices as a Support for Gold Stock Investment Decisions Utilizing Time-Varying Prediction Algorithms such as Double Exponential Smoothing, which utilizes historical data as a reference in the prediction calculation. The historical data sample used in this study ranges from the beginning of September 2019 to the end of October 2019. From this research, it is expected to test the Double Exponential Smoothing method in predicting future world gold prices.

Abstract

The use of augmented reality technology is increasing rapidly such as mobile android. This technology can be used as an interactive media offering, especially Interior Design offers. This study aims to determine the distance and angle and find out the differences in the application system in each application. Then this application will track and detect markers (markers) using the tracking system, after the marker is detected, a 3D object model appears above the marker as if the model were real. For this 3D model, the model must be made first using software. Applications are made using the markerless user defined target method and conducting tests on the utilization of this method using flat parameters, object shapes, distance, light and camera angles when tracking. The results of the test,

Abstract

The economizer is a heat exchanger that functions as a preheater for feed water in the boiler which is used to utilize flue gas which will improve the performance of the boiler by increasing the water temperature before entering the steam drum. The flue gas used comes from the furnace output which has a temperature of 1337oC, then the flue gas passes through the superheater with a temperature of 1070oC and enters the economizer with a temperature of 389oC. In order to maximize the use of the high temperature flue gas that enters the economizer, therefore in this scientific work we will analyze the heat transfer characteristics of the economizer in the MACCHI TITAN M package boiler at PT. PIM-2. This water tube type boiler has a capacity to produce steam of 120 tons/hour or 33. 3 kg/s with a pressure of 44 kg/cm2 and an economizer with a design surface dimension of 2345 m2, an in-line arrangement of tube banks, a tube diameter of 70 mm, a tube length of 1122 mm and a tube width of 2000 mm. Based on these data, an economizer will be analyzed by comparing the arrangement of tube banks and variations in the number of tubes (150, 200 and 250) in each tube bank using numerical simulation methods. From the simulation, it was found that the staggered tube banks with the 250 tube variation showed better heat transfer characteristics than the other variations, where the flue gas inlet temperature of 389 oC decreased to 257.7 oC and the increase in water temperature (H2O) from 110 oC increased to 193 oC or 75.45% of the inlet water temperature. tube length 1122 mm and tube width 2000 mm. Based on these data, an economizer will be analyzed by comparing the arrangement of tube banks and variations in the number of tubes (150, 200 and 250) in each tube bank using numerical simulation methods. Abstract

relay that works based on an increase in current that exceeds a certain safety value and a certain period of time. The main function of this overcurrent relay is to sense the presence of overcurrent and then give the command to the circuit breaker (PMT) to open. The working principle of the Over Current Relay (OCR) is a relay that works against excess current, it will work if the flowing current exceeds the setting value (Iset) or protection that works due to a short circuit between the phases. Basically, an overcurrent relay is a device that detects the amount of current flowing through a network with the help of a current transformer. The price or amount that is allowed to pass is called the setting.

Abstract

This research aims to help people choose the best smartphones at affordable prices in the range of 2-5 million using the EDAS (DISTANCE FROM AVERAGE SOLUTION) method. Visual language modeling such as UML is used to input smartphone lists and judgments from experts or smartphone brand sales regarding features such as brand, type, 3G, 4G, 5G, battery, RAM, ROM, camera size, and others. The EDAS calculation process was carried out with 34 smartphone data samples from various brands such as VIVO, OPPO, Realme, Xiaomi, Samsung and Infinix which were taken from the GSM Arena API as the main source of data. To achieve this goal, visual language modeling is first carried out using UML (Unified Modeling Language) such as Class Diagrams, Use Case diagrams, and Activity diagrams. The concept of this application is to input a list of smartphones that interest the user and assess the specifications of the smartphone using the assessment of experts or parties experienced in selling and evaluating smartphones, such as assessments from sales of a smartphone brand. Weighting is also carried out by evaluating each specification such as brand, type, 3G, 4G, 5G, battery, RAM, ROM, camera megapixel size, telephoto, depth sensor, macro camera, monochrome camera, screen, screen type, processor, and processor type. Weighting is done on a scale from 0 to 10. Weighting from 0-10 is done to assess each specification. The results of the EDAS implementation are the 5 most recommended smartphones and the 5 least recommended smartphones. namely for the 5 most recommended smartphones Redmi 8 with a score of 1.2431, Infinix S5 Lite with a score of 1.2143, Infinix S5 with a score of 1.2143, Tecno i7 with a score of 1.1344 and Oppo F3 Plus with a score of 1.0397. also the least recommended smartphones are Infinix Zero 5 with a score of -2.0970, Redmi Note 7 Pro with a score of 0.2334, Vivo Z1 Pro with a score of 0.2628, LG W30 Pro with a score of 0.2922, Xiaomi Mi A3 with a score of 0.3120.
