Abstract

Management in managing construction work activities is very necessary considering that businesses in the construction sector are currently growing rapidly. Construction management is an organization or individual that is multi-disciplinary. Construction Management can be a business entity which requires human resources who are experts in their respective fields which include POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controling) in a systematic and measurable manner. Currently at Sritanjung Vocational School, Banyuwangi Regency, a Practicum Building project is being carried out which is located in the south west part of the school. The research method used in this research is a literature review from various related sources. The data obtained came from filling out questionnaires by respondents involved in the Sritanjung Vocational School Practicum Building project. The questionnaire used was 45 respondents who participated in filling out the questionnaire. The results of the analysis regarding the construction management work system factors in the Sritanjung Vocational School Practicum Building construction project are the most dominant at the implementation stage, while the analysis regarding the actions taken by construction management to control time, cost and quality is the most dominant at the control stage

Abstract

Traffic accidents are a significant problem in various areas, including highways that cross National Park areas. This research aims to analyze the level of traffic accidents on roads in Baluran National Park using the Equivalent Accident Number (EAN) method as an evaluation tool. This case study involves collecting data on traffic accidents, traffic characteristics, and related environmental factors. The first step involves collecting traffic accident data from relevant agencies, including accident locations, types of accidents, and victims involved. Risk factors such as speed, traffic volume and road conditions are also identified to support the analysis. The AEK method is then applied to calculate the expected equivalent number of accidents based on traffic characteristics and road parameters. The analysis results show the actual accident rate compared to the calculated AEK. If the AEK is higher, this indicates that the location has a significant risk of accidents. Recommendations for improvement were then put forward, including improving infrastructure, implementing more effective traffic signs, and efforts to increase driver awareness. This research makes an important contribution to understanding and overcoming the challenges of traffic accidents in Baluran National Park. With the AEK approach, policies can be designed to effectively improve traffic safety, while maintaining the environmental sustainability of the National Park.

Abstract

The human digestive system is a system consisting of digestive organs that function to digest food in the human body. The lack of learning media that makes it easy to learn the material of the human digestive system becomes a separate obstacle for users so that research is carried out aimed at developing the learning media of the human digestive system more easily so that it can see the digestive system organs more clearly with virtual. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model which consists of four stages namely analysis, design, evaluation and testing. This test is carried out with the appropriateness test conducted on the user testing respondents. The results of respondents' testing on the feasibility of the application of the human body's digestive system using questionnaire data from 40 respondents showed that "Strongly Disagree = 0%", "Disagree = 0.5%", "Neutral = 20.5%", "Agree = 93.5%", "Strongly Agree = 88%". With the application test results using the black box test (Black Box Test) all the menu functions in the application have been successful in accordance with their respective functions. The conclusion of this research is the application of virtual reality digestive system in the human body which is simulated in the digestion of food from the first entry to the exit has been successful as expected.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the structure of the foundation of wooden pillars in stilt houses on the coast of Banyuwangi. The method used in the discussion is descriptive analysis, namely analyzing study object data based on theory related to the topic and object of observation, with the aim of finding the system and form of construction applied to The foundations of residential houses in this village correspond to three zones, namely water, transition and land. The final results conclude the form of the structural system and foundation construction of residential houses in each regional zone. The foundations of the houses in each zone show that on land the houses use pile foundations, in transitions with stone masonry, and on the water using stone masonry and some directly with pillars.

Abstract

Battery technology has seen significant advancements over the past few decades, with lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) becoming the dominant energy storage solution. However, the limitations of LIBs, such as resource constraints, safety concerns, and limited energy density, have spurred research into alternative battery technologies. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the evolution of battery technology, focusing on the advancements beyond lithium-ion batteries, including lithium-sulfur, solid-state, and metal-air batteries. We also discuss the potential of emerging technologies like sodium-ion, magnesium-ion, and organic batteries. The paper concludes with an analysis of the challenges and future prospects in the field of battery technology.
