Abstract

The wheat silo and pellet silo structure repair project phase 3 by PT ISM Bogasari Surabaya is an annual infrastructure maintenance and strengthening activity aimed at supporting the smooth production process. Therefore, it is crucial to complete the project on time according to the contract to proceed to the next stage of repair and avoid delays that could result in cost overruns. This study uses Earned Value Method (EVM) analysis to address these issues and assess the performance of costs and implementation time as the project progresses. The indicators used in the analysis include the calculation of Estimated To Complete (ETC) and Estimated At Complete (EAC) for forecasting project completion costs, and Estimated Temporary Schedule (ETS) and Estimated All Schedule (EAS) for forecasting project completion time. Based on the results of the cost and time performance analysis, the EAC value is 0.77% smaller, which is Rp. 21,825,605,678, compared to the contract value. The time to complete the EAS project is 481 days, with an addition of 26 days, resulting in a 0.6% longer project completion time.

Abstract

The Wheat Silo and Pellet Silo Structural Repair Project Phase III in Surabaya holds great significance in the wheat flour processing industry in Indonesia. PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk Bogasari Surabaya Division, one of the leading wheat flour producers, required structural repairs on both silos to ensure smooth plant operations and final product quality. The project necessitates proper project management to avoid delays and cost overruns, with a budget of Rp. 28,011,000,000 and an estimated duration of 455 calendar days. This study employs the Time Cost Trade-Off (TCTO) method to analyze options for accelerating the project timeline by considering additional costs that may arise. The results showed that by using TCTO, the project completion time can be accelerated to 359 days from 455 days, reducing the duration by 21.10% at an additional cost of Rp. 739,351,125.00 or 2.64% of the project value. With the addition of 1 hour of overtime per day, the cost of accelerating the project is Rp. 413,445,000.00 or 1.48% of the project value, reducing the work time to 391 days or 14.07% of the original schedule.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the individual and combined impacts of ability, attitude, appearance, attention, action, and responsibility on visitor satisfaction using quantitative methods. The study population was selected through accidental sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis with the IBM SPSS Statistics software. The findings reveal that ability, attitude, appearance, and attention have a significant partial effect on visitor satisfaction, whereas action and responsibility do not significantly impact visitor satisfaction. This is due to the action variable having a significance level of 0.550 > 0.05 and the responsibility variable having a significance level of 0.171 > 0.05. When considered together, the F test significance value of 0.001 is less than the predetermined significance level of ? = 5%, and the 73% coefficient of determination indicates the extent of influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable, with other factors affecting visitor satisfaction beyond the researcher's scope accounting for 23%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine community empowerment-based self-management construction projects and contractual-based construction projects in Sumenep District, using the AHP (Analytical Hierachy Process) method. The AHP method is used to analyze the results of the questionnaire so that the weight value of the criteria and sub criteria can be known as the basis for selecting the implementation of construction activities. Based on the results of the analysis of alternative construction implementation contractual weight is 0.501 and community empowerment is 0.499. The implementation of contractual-based construction projects is preferred with consideration of a more organized implementation, both in time (time schedule) and regulations governing it such as sanctions and fines when there are obstacles in the field being part of the responsibility for the implementation of contractual-based construction. Contractual-based construction implementation tends to be more organized and in accordance with strict schedules and regulations, including sanctions and fines if there are obstacles in the field. In contrast, self-managed construction based on community empowerment, such as in the village fund program, often has leeway in terms of a longer implementation period and supervision carried out by the community itself, not by experts. Thus, stakeholders are expected to clarify the regulations governing which works are carried out in a self-managed manner and which works are carried out contractually in government programs.
