Abstract

This research analyzes how Company Size and Debt Ratio affect the Financial Performance of banking subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2023. Using quantitative regression analysis on financial statement data, the study employed purposive sampling to select 36 banking companies meeting the research criteria. The findings reveal that Company Size significantly and positively influences Financial Performance, with a t-value of 2.425 exceeding the t-table value of 1.987 and significance of 0.017 below 0.05, confirming hypothesis H1. Conversely, Debt Ratio shows no significant individual effect on Financial Performance, with a t-value of -1.410 below 1.987 and significance of 0.162 above 0.05, rejecting hypothesis H2. However, simultaneous testing demonstrates that Company Size and Debt Ratio together significantly affect Financial Performance, with an f-value of 3.612 surpassing f-table value of 3.103 and significance of 0.031 below 0.05, accepting hypothesis H?. The study concludes that Company Size plays a crucial role in enhancing banking sector financial performance, indicating that larger banks tend to achieve better financial outcomes. While Debt Ratio lacks individual significance, suggesting that debt levels alone do not meaningfully impact performance, the combined effect of both variables proves statistically significant. This suggests that when analyzed collectively, Company Size and Debt Ratio contribute to explaining variations in banking financial performance, though Company Size emerges as the more influential factor among Indonesian banking companies during the examined period.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to examine how leadership, motivation, and job satisfaction impact the performance of employees at the Transportation Department (DISHUB) Office of Solok Regency. The research object consists of DISHUB employees located at Jl. Raya Koto Baru, Solok Regency, West Sumatra. Quantitative research was employed in the study, which involved distributing questionnaires to 92 employees for data collection. Findings from the research indicate that there is no substantial impact of leadership on employee performance, as evidenced by a t-value of 1.294 and a significance level of 0.200. Motivation also does not have a significant effect, with a t-value of -1.873 and significance of 0.065. Conversely, job satisfaction significantly influences employee performance, with a t-value of 2.060 and significance of 0.043. Simultaneously, the three variables influence employee performance with an F-value of 3.230 and significance of 0.027. The impact of leadership, motivation, and job satisfaction accounts for 11.9% of the variation in employee performance, with the remaining percentage being attributed to various other factors. This study provides recommendations to improve employee job satisfaction to enhance performance in the agency.

Abstract

The need for environmentally friendly products that are safe for health is increasing, including natural soaps that are free of harmful chemicals. Kembangan sub-district has abundant potential resources such as palm or coconut oil as the basis for making soap, but has not been optimally utilized. This community service activity aims to empower the community through training in making natural soap with business-economic value. The implementation method starts from a needs survey, preparation of training modules, soap making practices, to marketing strategies. The training participants consisted of micro and small-scale home-based businesses. The evaluation results showed active participation reaching 90%, with 80% of participants successfully making quality soap and 70% interested in developing a natural soap business. The main obstacles are limited tools, materials, and mentoring time. However, through collaboration with business partners and the government, this training can support economic independence based on MSMEs and environmental conservation. This program also encourages the formation of new business communities and increases community capacity in digital production and marketing. In conclusion, this training is effective in improving skills and opening up business opportunities based on local potential in a sustainable manner in Kembangan District.

Abstract

The retail business does not only consider profits, but also social responsibility towards consumers and society. Businesses must realise that the choices they make when purchasing goods can affect the company's reputation and consumer trust. Honesty, transparency, and fairness must be upheld in every transaction. The partners involved in the current community service (PKM) activities are engaged in the textile retail industry and are located in the Tanah Abang market. The main problem lies in the partners' lack of knowledge about the legal and ethical aspects of running a business. The activities were carried out through training related to legal and ethical issues. The training was conducted online via the Zoom platform. Through this activity, it is hoped that the problems arising in the partners' businesses will be resolved, and the partners will be able to increase their knowledge of ethical practices that consider the social and environmental impacts of their business when purchasing goods. Based on the results of this activity, it is recommended that business actors pay attention to legal and ethical aspects in the process of buying merchandise, in order to avoid legal risks and maintain good relationships with consumers and suppliers. As such, they should be able to uphold ethical values towards customers.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to provide guidance on the application of retail communication mix as a marketing strategy that can increase the competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the digital era. In the context of increasingly fierce business competition, MSMEs are required to be more creative and innovative in reaching consumers. Retail communication mix, which consists of various elements such as new media and traditional media, is considered one of the keys to the success of a business. The activity was carried out with MSME partners engaged in the food sector. The main problem faced by partners was a lack of knowledge about using retail communication to maintain their competitiveness and existence. The methods used were initial observation and training. This activity is expected to contribute to the development of the partners' knowledge, particularly in the fields of management and retail marketing. In addition, the results of this activity are also expected to provide recommendations for partners in designing effective retail marketing strategies to increase their business competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

Cerebrovascular disease is a condition in which rapidly developing clinical signs in the form of focal and global neurological disorders appear. These signs can worsen and persist for more than 24 hours and can cause death. The aim of this activity is to increase public understanding of how to prevent this disease and reduce its complications. The venue for this event is Kuwue Montasik village in Aceh Besar. The Kuwue village community, consisting of 18 people, attended in person. This community service method was implemented through training and discussion. The activity began on 20 August 2025 at 10:00 a.m. and lasted until completion. Starting with participant data, the activity continued with a presentation of the objectives and material on the risk factors for this disease, better known as stroke, its triggers, and its complications. The activity showed that the community understood low-fibre diets, low physical activity, smoking, and excessive salt use in cooking. It was recommended that the community improve their lifestyle, diet, and rest patterns, and families should continue to provide strong motivation to family members who are vulnerable to danger. In addition, the responsibility of health workers to provide consistent education should be increased.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to enhance the added value of catfish by processing it into nuggets as an alternative food product in Duwet Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency. The main problems faced by the community partners include low innovation in fish processing, limited access to technology, and high unemployment among the productive age group. The activities were carried out through a series of stages including socialization, entrepreneurship training, production practice, provision of production equipment, and continuous mentoring. Evaluation methods were conducted before, during, and after the activities using interviews and questionnaires. The results of the program show that the community's skills have significantly improved, catfish nuggets were successfully developed with more hygienic and marketable quality, and entrepreneurial motivation emerged among participants. This program has a positive impact on community economic empowerment, creates new business opportunities, and supports the diversification of food products based on local potential.
