Abstract

The choice of fuel (fuel oil) whose price is higher needs a solution, especially for conventional foundry entrepreneurs. We need alternative energy that is cheap and easy to get. Wood pellets are an attempt to replace fuel with cheap fuel. As with previous studies, the main objective of this study was to measure the energy potential of the smelting furnace flue gas. The analysis results show that 365,413.3 kJ of heat energy is wasted from the total point required for smelting. The flames sometimes coming out of the furnace flue gas channel indicate that some heat energy is smashed into the free air. The exhaust gas temperature is measured at 500-550⁰C, and you can see flashes of fire coming out frequently. This indicates that there is energy potential for the working process of the pyrolysis reactor; apart from that, the moments of fire that often appear indicate an excess of the combustion process in the furnace. This study's results may differ from other smelting furnace constructions and conditions.

Abstract

The design of this Resort area uses the Thermal Comfort Approach. Using suitable materials and contemporary concepts, buildings in this area will later become comfortable lodgings and increase new comfort for new tourists. The realization of the conceptual basis for planning and designing a Resort in Kledung Temanggung, which is equipped with supporting facilities that can provide a sense of comfort through interior and exterior spatial processing based on the Regionalism Architecture Approach and Thermal Comfort, which can attract tourists. The methodology to be used in the design and planning of the Resort at Kledung Temanggung is competitively descriptive, and the data collection method obtained both primary and secondary data. This article produces a design concept for planning and designing a resort area by considering the existing thermal in the Temanggung district.

Abstract

According to a statement from the chairman of the Ngadimulyo village cadres, the prevalence of stunting in five-year-old babies (toddlers) in Ngadimulyo village in 2022 is 20%, which means there are 32 stunted toddlers out of 160 toddlers in Ngadimulyo village. The first 1000 days are the golden age for babies, but many toddlers aged 0-59 months still experience nutritional problems. In interviews with several mothers in Ngadimulyo village who have toddlers, many mothers still do not understand the calculation of nutritional status; they only rely on calculations from posyandu cadres recorded in the MCH book (Maternal and Child Health). Data recording is still conventional and produces physical data in the form of books, so data storage also has many risks, such as damage and loss. To reduce the risk of stunting, a system is needed that facilitates the calculation of under-five nutrition so that parents can independently calculate the nutritional status of their under-fives. Currently, many parents are still assisted in determining stunting criteria. Currently, parents only get stunting knowledge from counseling, so parents who have toddlers do not understand to analyze stunting symptoms independently. They are unaware if stunting occurs; therefore, with a system that can assist parents in calculating stunting rates, it is hoped that parents can provide maximum nutritional intake so that stunting cases decrease. Parents can also prevent stunting from occurring. One of the systems used to calculate the nutritional status classification of toddlers is the K-Nearest Neighbor Method (KNN). The reason for choosing the KNN method is because this method can meet other variables in determining the nutritional status of toddlers and is one of the most basic and simple grouping techniques.

Abstract

PPTQ Al-Asy'ariyyah is an Al-Qur'an-based Islamic boarding school where most students memorize the Al-Qur'an. This study uses data mining to calculate how many students are late in completing their memorization and the factors that influence it by using the C4.5 algorithm. Algorithm C4.5 has a decision that can give the desired result. The results of this study found several factors that influence the punctuality of khatam and several factors. Of the 250 students located, 96 could complete their memorization on time, and 154 were off target or on time. Based on what was obtained from the study results, the timeliness of completing the completion is sufficient.

Abstract

Recycling process of the plastic waste into fuel in the concept of Waste to Energy is a technology that began to popularize the pyrolysis method. In addition to liquid fuels as the main product , which is produced from the above method is solid and non - condensable gases. Generaly, the residual gas is burned directly , while the solids can be processed into solid fuel (char briquettes) . To process the solids into a char ( fixed carbon + ash ) then it should be the beginning of a process to remove moisture and reduce levels of volatile matter . Despite a volatile fuel but large levels indicate that the pyrolysis process has not been good , besides the burning application will cause soot . Initial research has resulted in the burning of 8 quality test data sample of 13 samples char briquettes obtained by pyrolysis of polyethylene plastic material with an operating temperature variation between 450-500 ° C , as well as mass variations and types of catalysts Zeolite Y and Natural Zeolite . In addition, the variation was also performed by mixing the PE material with the type of Polystyrene , Polypropylene , Polyethylene Terephthalate , and Other . Char characteristics are known through the proximate test include moisture content , ash , volatile matter and fixed carbon , calorific value is tested through the bomb calorimeter . Combustion quality tested in the furnace at a temperature of 230 ° C ± walls and constant air flow of 0.7 m / s , and the measured emission levels .The problem is in the application note that burning briquettes are not optimized , long heating periods indicated , as well as varying levels of CO . Therefore, it is necessary to the optimization of combustion quality will be analyzed through the ultimate test and the effect of porosity.
