Abstract

Based on the research study on the design of the Remote Distance Recording Automation Tool for PDAM Water Distribution Using WIFI, several conclusions can be drawn. The PDAM water usage recording device, which uses the Water Flow YF-S201 sensor on a microcontroller installed in the PDAM water distribution flow, can accurately read the volume of water flowing through the sensor. Experiments showed that the sensor achieved an average accuracy of 98.9% for water volumes ranging from 1.5 liters to 15 liters. This demonstrates the sensor's high precision in measuring water flow.To build the hardware and software circuit, the ESP8266 WiFi module was used on the atmega328 microcontroller. The data sent to the server via the WiFi network worked as expected as long as it was within the range of the access point. Testing was conducted with a maximum distance of 8 meters, as the WiFi access point device used in the experiment could only reach a maximum of 10 meters and operated at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. This shows that the system can function well within a certain range and supports efficient wireless data transfer.

Abstract

This research focuses on adding aluminum 1100 combinations by adding magnesium (Mg) as much as 1.5% and varying the percentage of copper (Cu). 3.9%, 4.1%, 4.3%/ with heat treatment at temperatures of 1000C, 2000C, 3000C, and 4000C  with a holding time at each temperature of 120 minutes, then tested the aluminum combination's density, Vickers hardness, and tensile strength. The final results of this study showed that in the density test, the highest density value obtained was 4.24 gr/cm3 in a mixture of 1.5% magnesium and 4.3% copper (Cu) with a temperature of 2000C. In the Vickers hardness test, the highest hardness value was 83.9 HVN in a mixture of 1.5% magnesium and 4.3% copper with a temperature of 4000C. The final result of the research conducted was to obtain the tensile strength results of each specimen by obtaining the maximum tensile strength of the 4.1% Cu mixture specimen with a temperature of 4000C of 163.2698 Mpa and the highest strain value in the 4.3% Cu mixture specimen with a temperature of 4000C of 0.0472 %, for the results of the lowest elastic modulus value in the 4.3% Cu mixture specimen with a temperature of 2000C of 3147.319 Mpa and the highest value of the 4.1 % Cu mixture specimen with a temperature of 4000C of 5947.898 Mpa.

Abstract

The PPKA building contains vital railway equipment components. In a high level of lightning density, external protection is required to prevent damage due to direct lightning strikes. By raising and changing the position of the spritzer diagonally to a height of 12 meters , the protection radius is 27.42 meters ; by moving one of the splitzer positions in building B and raising it to a height of 9 m, the protection radius is 26 m and 20.7 meters , the same thing is done with a height of 12 meters , the protection radius is 30.6 m and 24.5 meters ; This optimization is able to protect the entire building. Rolling method sphere (RSM) obtained a radius of 60 meters. RSM Prevectron3 S50 obtained a ∆L value of 50 meters with r ESE of 110 meters , while RSM Viking V6 obtained an ∆L value of 70 meters , with r ESE of 130 meters , with the design planning option using rolling sphere is able to protect the entire building.

Abstract

Lemah Abang Station is a station located in Cikarang, this station is used for Cikarang-Cikampek, Cikarang-Purwakarta trips and KRL trips. To support the general national energy plan (RUEN) through Presidential Regulation No.79 of 2014, the Government of Indonesia has set a policy of increasing the share of renewable energy in the national energy mix to 23% by 2025. To support this effort, PLN's electrical power is converted to solar panels. This can be seen from the abundant solar energy potential in Cikarang, namely 5,040 Kwh/m2/day with a total duration of 2-9 hours of solar radiation per day. The solar panels that will be made have a capacity of 20 kWp using 48 units of 450Wp solar panels. Other components needed are a 20 kW inverter, 8 12V 200Ah batteries, kWh Exim, Solar Charger. Based on the economic analysis, the cheapest energy cost is 1762/kWh. In addition, the investment analysis for the construction of solar panels with the NPV, IRR, PI, and DPP methods is declared feasible to be carried out.

Abstract

In the world of aviation, it takes the right time, time synchronization is very important for the aviation system. If the time of the flight telecommunication facility is out of sync or out of sync, the flight data will be chaotic, so it is not known when the aircraft will land. If the time is not synchronized, data on accident incidents will be difficult to find. This research method uses an Microcontroller connected to the Network Time Protocol Server through internet media, then the Network Time Protocol Server generates time data in the form of Coordinate Universal Time. The Microcontroller functions as a server on the device that will perform time synchronization, and the Network Time Protocol Server data has accurate time accuracy. In the event of a time shift it will be compensated by the Microcontroller.
