Abstract

This study examines business transformation through the application of artificial intelligence (AI) on information systems and digital technology, with a focus on the main trends that occurred in 2023. Using a mixed method, this study involved quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to obtain data on comprehensive from 120 companies in various industrial sectors. The results showed that 85% of companies had integrated AI in their business functions, with supply chain management, production management, marketing, and customer service as the main application area. The application of AI is proven to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and accelerate decision making. However, challenges such as high initial investment and integration with existing systems are still obstacles. This research highlights the importance of a holistic approach which includes technology and human aspects of implementing AI. In conclusion, AI is the main driver of business transformation, and companies that are able to overcome challenges and utilize their potential effectively will get a significant competitive advantage. Further research is needed to explore the long-term impact and ethical issues related to the use of AI.

Abstract

Digital simulation technology and 3D printing have eliminated the boundaries between the digital and physical world in the current digital era. This article aims to explore the increasingly close integration between the two domains through the use of digital simulation technology and 3D print. This research explores the application of this technology in various industrial sectors, examines the benefits offered, and identify the challenges faced in the implementation process. Literature study methods and secondary data analysis are used to present a comprehensive picture of the development of digital simulation and 3D print technology. This technology not only accelerates the design and production process, but also increases operational efficiency and encourages innovation in various industrial fields. This study reveals technology adoption by the manufacturing sector for fast prototyping and its important role in education to increase student involvement. Despite its various benefits, the implementation of this technology faces significant challenges such as high initial costs and resistance to change. However, with sustainable research and development and expanding industrial capacity, the potential of digital simulation technology and 3D print to improve innovation and future efficiency remains large. In conclusion, this article highlights the crucial role of digital simulation technology and 3D print in connecting the digital and physical world. By continuing to explore new applications and overcome existing challenges, it can be created a future where this technology not only supports industrial progress, but also strengthens the integration between virtual and physical reality faced today.

Abstract

This research explores the implications of the metaverse as a new paradigm for business and information systems, utilizing qualitative and quantitative approaches to gain a comprehensive understanding. Surveys and in-depth interviews were conducted with business actors, information system professionals, and metaverse users. The findings indicate that 75% of respondents are familiar with the metaverse, and 40% have implemented this technology in their businesses. Metaverse implementation has been shown to increase customer engagement and sales by 70% and 60%, respectively. However, challenges such as security, privacy issues, and high implementation costs remain significant barriers. The study also highlights the need for advanced technological infrastructure and interoperability standards to support the integration of the metaverse in business. In conclusion, the metaverse holds great potential to transform the way we interact, work, and conduct business, with the right strategies and effective collaboration.

Abstract

This study explores the concept of decentralization in the context of emerging technologies, specifically Blockchain and Web3. These technologies offer an alternative to traditional centralized models by promoting systems that are more open, secure, and transparent. The study employs a qualitative approach using case studies to understand the practical applications and impacts of decentralization across various industries. Key findings highlight the significant benefits of decentralization, such as enhanced security and transparency, user control over data, and operational efficiency through smart contracts. However, challenges such as scalability, regulatory compliance, and security concerns remain. The study concludes that while there are considerable challenges, the benefits of decentralization make it a promising area for continued exploration and development. With sustained research and technological advancement, broader adoption and deeper integration into everyday life can be achieved, leading to a more decentralized and inclusive digital future.

Abstract

Climate change, pollution, and natural resource degradation are among the most pressing environmental challenges faced by the world today. Green technology innovation offers promising solutions to address these challenges by promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. This research aims to understand how green technology innovation responds to environmental challenges and determines its impact on various aspects. Using a qualitative research method with a descriptive-analytical approach, data were collected through literature reviews, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that green technology innovations, such as renewable energy technologies, clean water and waste treatment systems, and sustainable agricultural practices, effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve air and water quality, and conserve natural resources. Economically, green technology has created new jobs and driven growth in sectors like manufacturing, energy, and environmental services. Socially, it has enhanced the quality of life by providing better access to clean energy, water, and sanitation, thereby improving public health and reducing poverty. However, the adoption of green technology faces challenges such as high costs, inadequate infrastructure, and low public awareness. Overcoming these challenges requires collaboration between government, private sector, and civil society. With strong commitment and joint efforts, green technology innovation can play a crucial role in achieving sustainable development goals and creating a greener future.
