Abstract

The concept of society within the framework of Islamic education philosophy is founded on principles of equality, compassion, and justice. This study seeks to explore how Islamic pedagogical principles shape societal values, highlighting the interplay between individual responsibilities and communal harmony. By examining case studies of diverse Muslim communities, we aim to uncover variations in the application of these principles and address challenges in balancing traditional teachings with contemporary societal needs. The research utilizes qualitative methods, including interviews and content analysis, to provide a nuanced understanding of the dynamic relationship between Islamic education and societal development. The findings reveal that while Islamic educational philosophy promotes unity and social justice, practical implementation requires adapting to local cultural contexts and overcoming socio-political barriers. This abstract outlines the importance of continual dialogue and adaptation in fostering an inclusive and progressive Islamic society. Such efforts are critical for promoting global understanding and cooperation within diverse communities. Ultimately, the study calls for an integrated approach that respects both traditional Islamic values and modern societal demands, ensuring that the ideals of brotherhood, equality, and justice remain at the core of educational and societal practices.

Abstract

The archivists in the Batu City Department of Library and Archives play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient archival services for the community. This study evaluates their performance, focusing on record acquisition, management, preservation, and service delivery. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research incorporates observations, interviews with 15 archivists, and examination of departmental records over six months. The analysis includes data reduction, modeling, and verification processes to derive comprehensive insights. The findings reveal that the archivists’ effectiveness is significantly influenced by their educational background, ongoing training, and accumulated work experience. Despite their competence, a notable gap exists in the formal academic qualifications related to archival studies. Moreover, disparities in training access further exacerbate performance inconsistencies. Consequently, while the current procedures are well-adhered, improvements are essential. To address these challenges and enhance expertise, it is recommended that archivists with formal archival education be recruited. Additionally, implementing a structured training program that offers equal participation opportunities can bridge the skill gap. Lastly, reducing non-core tasks will enable archivists to focus on their primary responsibilities, improving overall service delivery. These measures are anticipated to positively impact the department’s ability to meet community needs and enhance organizational efficiency.

Abstract

This study investigates the critical issues of investment literacy and the utilization of security crowdfunding within the Islamic capital market in the digital age. By conducting a systematic literature review (SLR), we aim to understand how investment knowledge impacts the effectiveness of Sharia-compliant security crowdfunding platforms. The review includes studies from various regions focusing on individual investors engaged in Islamic capital markets. Our findings indicate a significant gap in investment literacy among potential investors. Many lack a basic understanding of financial principles, risk management, and the specifics of Sharia-compliant investments. This deficiency hampers the effective use of security crowdfunding platforms. Additionally, the increasing reliance on digital platforms for investment activities highlights the need for targeted educational programs and stronger regulatory frameworks. To address these challenges, we recommend developing comprehensive educational initiatives focused on Islamic finance principles. Additionally, we suggest enhancing regulatory support to foster more informed and inclusive participation in the Islamic financial ecosystem. Future research should also explore specific demographic factors affecting investment literacy and the effectiveness of different educational programs.

Abstract

In the dynamic era of 21st-century educational transformation, developing students' critical thinking, creativity, and independence has become a top priority, where student-centered learning models are viewed as the most effective and creative strategies to enhance these competencies. The background of this research is driven by the fact that while curricula continue to evolve, instructional leadership often fails to optimally evaluate teaching effectiveness and its impact on student engagement and the holistic development of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. This study aims to analyze the strategic contribution of school principals in creating an innovative learning ecosystem within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum. The method employed is a qualitative approach using a literature review design and bibliometric analysis with VOSviewer and Publish or Perish software to map publication trends and data collection techniques based on academic documents. The results indicate that the principal's leadership has a significant positive impact on learning quality through providing resources and motivation to teachers, where scaffolding variables in managerial assistance serve as a key determinant of success; however, it was found that providing physical facilities alone has no effect without a shift in educators' mindsets. In conclusion, the principal's role as a primary driver is crucial for the sustainability of educational innovations that focus on students' unique potential.
