Abstract

There are still many mothers who provide additional breastfeeding (MP-ASI) to babies less than four months old. Giving complementary foods too early has a very high risk of contamination risk, namely the incidence of gastroenteritis which is very dangerous for the baby and can reduce milk production because the baby rarely breastfeeds. The purpose of this study was to analyze the cultural relationship factor by offering early complementary foods. The method used in this research is correlational analytic with cross sectional approach. The population was all mothers breastfeeding infants aged 0–6 months at the Arrahman clinic in Pasuruan. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The independent variable of the cultural factor and the dependent variable is the offering of early solids. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Analysis of research results using the chi square test. The results showed that most of 25 people (78.1%) had no cultural factors, 24 people (75%) did not provide complementary feeding. The results of the cross tabulation showed that 22 people (68.75%) had no cultural factors and did not provide early complementary foods to their children, the Chi Square test results showed 0.001, which means that there is a relationship between cultural factors and early complementary feeding. This shows that mothers who follow cultural factors have a tendency to provide complementary feeding to infants aged 0-6 months and mothers who do not follow cultural factors do not provide complementary foods to babies aged 0-6 months. The solution that is needed is to provide information through counseling by health workers about the provision of early complementary foods which will have a negative impact on the baby, namely the baby's digestive system is not disturbed so that nutritional disorders and will reduce the baby's immune system because the baby is not exclusively breastfed until the age of 6 months.

This study uses a questionnaire and data analysis using the Chi Square test. The results of the study based on the Chi Square test showed that the Statistical Test Results obtained a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.001 which indicates that the value is smaller than 0.05 so that the p value <α (0.05), then H1 is accepted. Conclusion from this study there is a relationship between knowledge of WUS about personal hygiene and the occurrence of vaginal discharge.

Abstract

The health of pregnant women is one of the important aspects to consider in a woman's life cycle because during her pregnancy unexpected complications can occur. Every pregnant woman will face risks that can threaten her life. Therefore, every pregnant woman needs care during her pregnancy (Salmah, 2016). The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of husband's support on the implementation of Antenatal Care in primigravida pregnant women at BPM NY "N" Waru Sidoarjo in 2020.The design of this study was cross sectional analytic. The population is all primigravida pregnant women at BPM Ny "N" Waru Sidoarjo 2020. The sample is partly primigravida pregnant women at BPM Ny "N" Waru Sidoarjo 2020 totaling 32 respondents. The sampling technique in this research is non probability sampling, namely purposive sampling type sampling technique. In collecting data from respondents, the next step the researcher took was processing the data by editing, coding, scoring, tabulating, data entry, and cleaning. Data analysis in this study used the Chi Square test. From the results of the Chi Square test, if the p value <level of significant (0.05), the conclusion is that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between husband's support for the implementation of Antenatal Care in primigravid pregnant women in BPM NY "N" Waru Sidoarjo in 2020. The husband's lack of support is due to the husband's lack of knowledge about the importance of ANC and the husband's work. To overcome this problem, counseling can be carried out to mothers and families about the importance of ANC visits for early detection of pregnancy and prevention of early pregnancy complications so that mothers and children are healthy.

Abstract

Growth and development are processes that occur in living things. Growth is said to increase in physical size, due to the multiplication of cells and the increasing number of substances between cells. Growth and development concern all aspects of progress achieved from the womb to adulthood (Irianton Aritonang, 1996). Based on an initial survey with interview techniques for 10 respondents conducted at the Posyandu Kalimati in January 2020 showed that there are still many toddlers with poor nutritional status. The purpose of this study was to Analyze the Relationship of the Role of Parents to the Growth of Preschool Children in Kalimati Village, Tarik Sidoarjo District in 2020. The design of this study included a cross sectional analytic study with a survey approach. The population in this study were all parents and toddlers in the Kalimantan village of Tarik Sidoarjo in 2020, amounting to 30 respondents. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique taken by Slovin formula, amounting to 28 respondents. The variables of this study are the role of parents on an ordinal scale and the growth of preschool-aged children on an ordinal scale. This research was conducted in Kalimati Village, Tarik Sidoarjo District, from January to July 2020 using a questionnaire sheet and observation sheet. In collecting data from respondents the next step taken by researchers is data processing by editing, coding, scoring, tabulating, data entry, and cleaning. Data analysis in this study used the contingency coefficient test. Based on the results of statistical tests using the Spearman rank test, it is known that ρ-value <0.05, with a value of 0.009 <0.05, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is a relationship between the Role of Parents Against the Growth of Preschoolers. The determining factor for a child's physical and mental development is the role of parents, especially the role of a mother, because the mother is the first and foremost educator of children born to adulthood. The role of parents in the growth of pre-school children is very important. Nutritious and balanced food is needed by the body so that the nerve cells of the brain can grow optimally.

Abstract

Pregnant women who come to visit the class of pregnant women will be monitored again at the next hamul class visit. Lack of awareness of pregnant women of the importance of classes of pregnant women, causing the low implementation of classes of pregnant women. So that pregnant women do not know the benefits of classes of pregnant women, mothers do not understand about the health of pregnant women and influence the decision of mothers in the use of health facilities (Prasetyowati, 2012). Based on a preliminary study in the Kemuning village of Tarik Sidoarjo District from interviews conducted with 10 pregnant women shows that there is still a lack of active visits of mothers attending classes of pregnant women in the Kemuning village of Tarik Sidoarjo District. The design of this study included a cross sectional analytic study with a survey approach (survey research). The population in this study were all trimester III pregnant women visiting Kemuning Village, Tarik Sidoarjo District in 2020, sampling with accidental sampling techniques and the sample size in this study were 23 respondents. The independent variable in this study is husband support with ordinal scale and the category is good, quite less, whereas for the dependent variable is the activity of joining the class with a nominal scale and categorized as active and inactive. This research was conducted in January to July 2020 in Kemuning Village, Tarik Sidoarjo District and measured using a questionnaire for the independent variables and the MCH book for the dependent variable. In collecting data from respondents the next step taken by researchers is data processing by editing, coding, scoring, tabulating, data entry, and cleaning. Data analysis in this study used the chi square test. Chi square test results show the value of ρ value (0.005) <α (0.05) which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between husband support and active class of pregnant women. Social support and family and husband are very influential on the pregnancy process of a mother, if the pregnancy is accompanied by full support from her husband and family, then the pregnancy process will go well which will indirectly affect the health of the mother and the fetus she is carrying.
