Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze (1) whether the quality of humanresources, foreign investment, domestic investment affects employment in Indonesia; (2)what is the dominant variable influencing jobs in Indonesia. This study indicatesthat the regression analysis made shows that all dependent variables, such as thequality of the human resource, foreign investment, and domestic investment, affectIndonesia's labor absorption. Foreign investment has become the most dominantvariable. It has a significant effect on the independent variable, namely the totalworkforce on employment in Indonesia. Indonesia is still very dependent on foreigninvestment, entering Indonesia to accelerate economic growth and absorb moreworkers again in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research was conducted to (1) Analyze the influence of finance,unemployment, and poverty partially on income inequality from 2010 to 2017. (2) Analyzethe effect of economic, unemployment, and poverty simultaneously on income inequality.(3) Analyzing the variables that are most dominant affecting income inequality.This research is quantitative. The data used in the study are secondary dataobtained through the Central Statistics Agency from districts/cities in South Kalimantan.The data analysis technique used is a quantitative analysis using panel data regressionanalysis with the Fixed Effect Model.This study's results are based on panel data regression analysis, which states theeconomy has no significant effect, significant unemployment, and poverty significantlyaffect income inequality in 13 districts/cities in South Kalimantan.

Abstract

This Research was conducted to (1) Determine the influence of education leveland minimum wages on labor absorption in 13 districts/cities in South KalimantanProvince; (2) Determine the most dominant factor in influencing labor absorption inthe Province of South Kalimantan.This Research is included in the type of quantitative descriptive Research.While the location of this study is 13 districts / cities in South Kalimantan Province,and the object of this study is the data of education level and minimum wage in SouthKalimantan during 2014 - 2018. The data obtained is then processed using panel dataregression analysis with fixed-effect models using the EVIEWS 10 program.The results of this Research indicate that (1) The level of education andminimum wages simultaneously have a significant effect on labor absorption in theProvince of South Kalimantan in 2014 - 2018; (2) The results of this study alsoindicate that the level of education is the most dominant factor affecting laborabsorption in South Kalimantan in 2014 – 2018

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of household expenditure thatmust be spent due to the 3kg LPG price increase, know the efforts of low households whenthere is an increase of 3kg LPG and to see the difference before or after the 3 kg LPG priceincrease in the North Alalak area North Banjarmasin. This research was conducted on lowhouseholds in the northern alalak village, Banjarmasin north. The data used in the study areprimary data and secondary data. This study's population were all low households in thenorthern alalak of Banjarmasin, which amounted to 1112 needy families. Whereas thenumber of samples can be obtained using the Yamane taro formula. Ninety-two respondentswill be selected using simple random sampling techniques or simple random models. Eachsampling unit in the population has the same opportunity to be chosen as a sample member.The study used a paired sample T-test. The t is equal to -9,279, smaller than T's cost, whichis equivalent to 0.67720 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <α). The test results can beconcluded that there are differences between before and after the increase in 3 kg LPG inNorth Alalak Village, North Banjarmasin.

Abstract

This research aims to know and analyze how much influence education, age, gender, lengthof business, capital, and income to Business street vendors' mobility in Handil Baktiregency of Barito Kuala. The method used in this research is the quantitative method, withthe education variable, age, gender, length of effort, capital and income to the mobilitybusiness of the street vendors in Handil Bakti regency of Barito Kuala, data usedCoeseoner primary and interviews with data 58 respondents and data analysis techniquesusing Binary logistic regression. Abstract

This study was conducted to (1) analyze the impact of the tourism sector on thewelfare of traders in the tourist area of the Siring Sungai Martapura Park in the City ofBanjarmasin (2) to analyze the differences in the welfare level of traders who utilize thetourism sector before and after the development of tourism in the tourism area of the SiringRiver Martapura Park Banjarmasin City. In this study, Respondents were 38 people,namely traders who are still active around the Siring Sungai Martapura Park inBanjarmasin City. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. In this study, datacollection methods were interviews in the form of cake, observation, documentation, andliterature study. The results of this study prove the positive impact of the tourism sector onthe welfare of traders around the Banjarmasin tourist attraction used in this study, namelythe Siring Sungai Martapura Park Banjarmasin City viewed from the tourism sector whichgives an impact on increasing income before and after the development of tourism,education level, the level of health, and living conditions that indicate merchants who haveincreased welfare before and after utilizing the tourism sector. The resulting negativeimpact is the dependence on the existing tourism sector because it depends on tourist visits.The tourism sector is used as an indicator in the study. This is a tourist visit while publicwelfare indicators are income, expenditure, health, education, and living conditions.

Abstract

This Study was conducted to (1) Analyze population growth, income inequality,and unemployment simultaneously on poverty levels from 2011 till 2017. (2) Analyze thevariables that are most dominantly affecting poverty levels. This research usedsecondary data and quantitative. In this study, data generated were sourced from theCentral Statistics Agency from districts/cities in South Kalimantan in 2011-2017. Dataanalysis technique using data panel regression analysis with random effect models. Thisstudy's results based on panel data regression analysis showed all independentvariables jointly had a significant effect on poverty levels in South Kalimantan's 13districts/cities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of education level, health, and economicgrowth both simultaneously and partially on the number of people deficient in theDistrict of Tanah Laut in 2010 – 2018. The data used in secondary data is sourced fromthe Central Statistic Agency in Tanah Laut District. The data analysis technique used inmultiple regression analysis. Test results using Eviews 10 obtained the results ofeducation level, health, and economic growth simultaneously had a significant effect onthe number of people deficient in the District of Tanah Laut. Whereas partially ofeducation level has a negative and significant impact, health is the most dominantfactor. It has a positive and significant effect, and economic growth has an insignificantimpact on the number of people deficient in the District of Tanah Laut.

Abstract

Generally, regional expansion is one form of local autonomy and is one of thepolicies that need to be considered due to regional growth, equitable regionaldevelopment, and regional development. It can be maximized. The purpose of this studywas to determine the impact of the Balangan Regency region expansion from the HuluSungai Utara Regency, whether with the division there was a shift in economicstructure in the two districts. Several analysis methods are used to answer the problem,namely: Location Quotient Analysis (LQ), Shift-Share Analysis, and Overlay Analysis.The data used in this study are secondary in the form of Hulu Sungai Utara RegencyGRDP, Balangan Regency GRDP, and South Kalimantan Province GRDP based onbusiness fields with the base year 2010. The study results based on Location Quotientanalysis show that the superior base sector in North Hulu Sungai Regency is parentdistricts are as many as 12 base sectors.In contrast, in the newly formed districts, there is only one base sector. Thecalculation result of Shift-Share analysis shows a shift in the two districts' economicstructure, namely from the primary industry to the secondary sector. The developmentof Overlay analysis indicates that there are ten leading sectors in the central districts,and in the newly created communities, there are no top sectors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) determine the base sector owned by the BanjarRegency, and (2) the non-base sector development strategy in Banjar District. Theanalysis method to determine the base sector is calculated through Location quotient,Shift Share, and Klassen Typology for development strategies through SWOT analysis.Using secondary data in the form of gross regional domestic product according toemployment at constant prices and primary data obtained from interviews withrespondents who are considered experts or know the situation. The results showed fourprimary sectors: construction sector, wholesale and retail trade sector, car andmotorcycle repair sector, accommodation and food and beverage supply sector, and theInformation and Communication sector. The industry that wants to be developed is theagriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors that produce the strategy that best suits thesituation is the S-O strategy.
