JIEP: Jurnal Ilmu Ekonomi dan Pembangunan adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Jurusan Ilmu Ekonomi dan Studi Pembangunan, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, yang terbit dua kali setahun pada bulan Mei dan November. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menjadi wadah publikasi karya ilmiah hasil penelitian, kajian analitis, dan pemikiran kritis di bidang ilmu ekonomi dan studi pembangunan. Fokus jurnal mencakup berbagai topik seperti ekonomi pertanian, ekonomi terapan, bisnis dan keuangan, pembangunan ekonomi, sejarah ekonomi, ekonomi lingkungan, ekonomi fiskal, ekonomi kesehatan, industri dan perdagangan, inflasi, ekonomi internasional, ekonomi Islam, ekonomi tenaga kerja, makro dan mikroekonomi, kebijakan moneter dan fiskal, ekonomi politik, kebijakan publik, pembangunan wilayah dan pedesaan, ekonomi perkotaan dan regional, pengangguran, serta ekonomi kesejahteraan. JIEP: Jurnal Ilmu Ekonomi dan Pembangunan is a scientific journal published by the Department of Economics and Development Studies, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, issued biannually in May and November. This journal aims to serve as a platform for publishing scientific works, research findings, analytical studies, and critical perspectives in the field of economics and development studies. The journal focuses on a wide range of topics including agricultural economics, applied economics, business and finance, economic development, economic history, environmental and ecological economics, fiscal economics, health economics, industry and trade, inflation, international economics, Islamic economics, labor economics, macroeconomics and microeconomics, monetary and fiscal policies, political economics, public policy, regional and rural development, urban and regional economies, unemployment, and welfare economics.

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of education on poverty in the city of Banjarbaru, analyze the impact of the minimum wage on poverty in the town of Banjarbaru, analyze the development of the open unemployment rate on poverty in the city of Banjarbaru. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis with the independent variables Education (X1), Minimum Wage (X2), and Unemployment Rate (X3) on the dependent variable Poverty Level (Y1). This study indicates that the education variable did not significantly affect poverty in Banjarbaru City from 2011 to 2020. This is evidenced by the t-test, which produces a regression value of -0,018 with a significance value of 0.896. The independent variable minimum wage did not significantly affect poverty in Banjarbaru City from 2011 to 2020. This is evidenced by the t-test, which produces a regression value of -2.326 with a significance value of 0.059. The independent variable, the open unemployment rate, significantly affected poverty in Banjarbaru City from 2011 to 2020. This is evidenced by the t-test, which produces a regression value of 2.912 with a significance value of 0.027.]]>

<![CDATA[The basis of this study is to (1) analyze the effect of the variables GRDP, Labor Force Participation, and Poverty partially and simultaneously in South Kalimantan Province for the 2011-2020 period and (2) to analyze which factors are more dominant in influencing the Human Development Index in South Kalimantan Province in the period 2011-2020. This type of research is quantitative, while the analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with time series using Eview 9. The results of this study indicate that GRDP partially affects the Human Development Index significantly, and LFPR and Poverty do not partially affect the Human Development Index. The three independent variables simultaneously significantly affect the Human Development Index in South Kalimantan Province. The most significant influence on the Human Development Index is the GRDP variable.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the effect of village funds and infrastructure development on the index of developing villages simultaneously and partially in the Barabai sub-district. The data used in this study is secondary data, namely data obtained based on available data and has been compiled by the Department of Community and Village Empowerment and Barabai District. The data analysis technique used in this research is panel data regression. The results of this study show that (1) simultaneously, Village Funds and Infrastructure Development have a significant effect on the Village Building Index, (2) Infrastructure Development is the most influential variable on the Village Building Index, but the effect is negative, and (3) steps to increase the index village development is to strengthen village deliberations and improve the development of empowerment and empowerment of rural communities based on the recommendation of the input result of the village index questionnaire in the previous year.]]>

<![CDATA[This study has the following objectives: 1) to determine the effect of wages, working hours, capital, and education simultaneously on the MSE income in the trading sector in North Banjarmasin District. 2) to determine the effect of wages, working hours, capital, and education partially on MSE income in the trade sector in North Banjarmasin District. In this study, the authors use quantitative methods through a descriptive approach. Primary data types are generated through the distribution of questionnaires and interviews. The analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results of this study reveal that Simultaneously (f test) illustrates that the independent variables X1(Wage), X2(Working Hours), X3(capital), and X4(Education) together simultaneously have a significant effect on Y(Income) in MSEs in the Trade Sector in the District of North Banjarmasin. Partially, the independent variables X1(Wage), X2(Working Hours), and X3(Capital) affect Y(Income), while the X4(Education) variable does not affect Y(Income).]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the influence of the population number, human development index, GRDP per capita, and unemployment rate on the number of poor people in South Kalimantan from 2010 to 2019. The analytical method used in this research is Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and panel data (pooled data), which is a combination of time-series data began in 2010 to 2019 and cross-section data in the form of 13 districts/cities data in the province South Borneo. The analysis in this study was carried out with Eviews 10 software. The results in this study are the Population Variable has a positive and significant effect on the Poor Population in South Kalimantan province, the Human Development Index Variable has a negative and insignificant impact on the Poor Population in South Kalimantan Province, the GRDP Per capita Variable has a negative and little effect on the Number of Poor population in South Kalimantan province, and the Number of Unemployment Variable has a positive and significant impact on the Number of Poor Population in South Kalimantan Province.]]>

<![CDATA[This study was conducted to determine the effects of inflation, exchange rates, and investment on Indonesian exports in 2009–2018. Among the data used in this study are Indonesian inflation, US inflation, the middle rate of the US dollar, and investment, which includes domestic investment (PMDN) and foreign investment (PMA) on the value of Indonesia's exports. This study uses secondary data and data analysis techniques with multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the research that has been done, the results show that inflation, exchange rates, and investment have simultaneously had a significant effect on Indonesian exports from 2009–2018. Partially, the results show that both Indonesian and United States inflation and the United States dollar exchange rate had no significant effect on Indonesian exports in 2009–2018, and investment substantially impacted Indonesian exports in 2009–2018.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to (1) determine the internal factors that are strengths and weaknesses in the development of Tabanio Beach tourism in Tanah Laut Regency, (2) find out external factors that are opportunities and threats in the development of Tabanio Beach tourism in Tanah Laut Regency and (3) strategies development of Tabanio Beach tourism object in Tanah Laut Regency. Seven respondents responded that they had an influence and played an essential role in developing Tabanio Beach tourism objects. The results of the survey show the condition of the Tabanio Beach tourist attraction in the New Normal Era; the resulting development strategy that is most appropriate to the situation is the S-O strategy (1) Improving and maintaining the quality of the natural beauty of the tourist attraction to make tourists comfortable with the cool air when visiting with family while holidaying. (2) Increasing Government support and the role of POKDARWIS (Tourism Awareness Group) in adding new tourist attractions at Tabanio Beach tourist attraction.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine (1) the creative economic potential that can be developed at the Kotabaru Siring Laut Park, (2) the potential attractions that can be developed at the Siring Laut Park tourism object in Kotabaru Regency, (3) what internal factors are the strengths and weaknesses in the development of sea siring tourism in Kotabaru district, (4) what external factors are the opportunities and threats to the development of sea siring tourism in Kotabaru district and (5) what is the strategy in developing the right siring sea park tourism in Kotabaru Regency. The results showed that development of the most appropriate strategy was the S-O strategy (1) Increasing culinary tourism attractions is one of the proper steps that the government must take because many tourists who visit with their families not only enjoy the beauty of the tour but one of the reasons they visit is to enjoy various kinds of dishes are provided that can be enjoyed when with family, (2) maintain and increase the perception of tourists to visit this tourist attraction because the tourist location is very strategic and easy to reach and has a comfortable atmosphere with beautiful panoramas.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the income of street vendors, namely income before the COVID-19 pandemic and income during the COVID-19 pandemic on Car Free Day Banjarbaru City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method, which was conducted in January-February 2022. The income analysis method was used with the formula with 53 street vendors as respondents. The results of this study indicate that street vendors' income during the COVID-19 pandemic has decreased, with an average income of Rp. 645.962 with a maximum income of Rp. 2.230.000 merchandise and services traders are street vendors who experienced a substantial decline.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the restaurant tax, the contribution of the restaurant tax to local revenue, and the elasticity of the restaurant tax on GRDP in Banjarmasin from 2011 to 2020. This research makes use of descriptive and quantitative research methods. The data is secondary from the Central Statistics Agency and BPKPAD. The results showed that the extent of the effectiveness of restaurant tax revenues was categorized as very effective, with a mean of 112.85%. In the meantime, the contribution of restaurant tax to local revenue remains less significant, with a standard of 14.27%. The elasticity of restaurant tax revenue on GRDP has a standard of -79.25%, which is classified as inelastic, meaning that every 1% change in GRDP can lessen the realization of restaurant taxes using -79.25.]]>
