Abstract

HIRARC is one way of preventing potential hazards that exist in each type of work.Steps begin by way of danger, then assess the risk and perform the control. PT OSIElectronics has a logistics area as a place to receive or delivering of goods that using forklifts. For that researchers interested to be held in the area. This research is a qualitative research. Techniques used in data collection are field HIRARC observation,company document, and interview. Calculates data starting with risk value with score form. Based on the results of the research, it is known that there are 6 types of activities in logistic areas that have different source of danger. In terms of safety still have some deficiencies, especially safety on APD equipment, as well as awareness of the workers.Suggestion from the researcher is that company will improve safety at every job in logistic area to reduce unsafe action and unsafe condition. For APD equipment should be emphasized as well as awareness of the workers in maintaining safety at work and distinguishing specific paths for forklifts and people.

Abstract

PT Glory Propertindo, still manually moving material. Manual material removal is usually done by lifting, carrying, and laying. The activity raises several complaints from construction workers. The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceived grievances of manual material removal workers and to analyze the extent of injury risk based on the rapid overall body assessment (REBA) method. data were collected by using nordic body map questionnaires to 8 bronze and cement carrier workers and then analyzing the level of risk of injury on postural work assessment using Rapid Total Body Assessment (REBA) method. For the results showed the body parts that got the pain and the pain in the left and right shoulder, left and right upper arm, back, waist and lower waist, buttocks, left elbow and right elbow, left and right arm, left arm wrist And right, left and right hands, left and right thighs, left and right legs, left and right legs and potential diseases that occur are discoloration,kyphosis, lower back pain, bursitis, neck stiffness, cramps, and sprains. The result of the appraisal shows that the activity of laying concrete and cement has a very high risk, so it is necessary to take corrective action now

Abstract

Chairs and tables are school facilities that affect the attitude of sitting learners while learning. Based on research on TK. Prime Montessori school Batam students it is known that the size of chairs and tables are not in accordance with the dimensions of the learner's body, namely the seat is too high, the length of the seat is too long, the seat is too wide, the backrest on the seat is too high, the seat has no foam pads on the base and Backrest, table height is too low, the distance between the table and the seat base is too narrow. From the research, conducted research to redesign the ergonomic chair and table. In this study, data collection of anthropometry of 40 data and measuring the chair and table that is currently used the school. The anthropometric data obtained were statistically tested, ie data uniformity test, normality test, data adequacy test and percentile calculation. The results of the calculations are used to perform the design using the software Creo 5.0. The results of this study are the design of chairs and desks are comfortable and in accordance with the anthropometry of learners.

Abstract

PT Surya Teknologi is company producing elektronic .intence competition forced the management to make a conpet plan to deal with it.this cause each company triying to produce a batter electronic to give satisfaction to the consumer. In this research the method of analysis used is Statistical Process Control, which is a statistical method used to measure the extent of quality control process performed on a company, where the results are compared with the standards applied by the company. The result of this research shows that product quality control at PT Surya Teknologi is still uncontrolled. With an average damage of 7.93%. The most common type of damage is Selentetd with a total of 1633 of total defective products in 2017. From fieldobservations and interviews, the factors causing this damage are human factors, machinery, environment, working methods and materials.

Abstract

Machinery or production equipment is one of the assets owned by a company thatrequires effective maintenance in order for the company to continue to be productive.Problem encountered is found the machine / production equipment that can not operateproperly, causing the engine breakdown is increasing. One step that can be taken by the company to be able to determine the level of effectiveness of machinery and equipment production by measuring the level of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of pre-turning process in maintenance activities to improve productivity of PT APCB, to identify causes of non-optimal maintenance activities at PT APCB, and to propose improvements for maintenance effectiveness at PT APCB. One approach that can be applied by PT APCB is by applying Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Based on the calculation results, obtained the average OEE value in 2016 was 67,45%. The lowest OEE value in the Pre-Turning process in 2016 was in February at 48.31%, while for the highest OEE in September was 83.23%. This is caused by the bar feeder problem with the highest request frequency value so that the low effectiveness of the Pre-turning process is indicated by the low value of OEE. Proposed improvement for maintenance effectiveness at PT APCB is to apply TPM better by always controlling the level of OEE.
