Abstract

This research aimed to determine the pattern of economic development of each district, the level of disparity (inequality) economic development that occurs among districts, and the appropriate strategies and policies in problem solving disparity (inequality) economic development in Medan. This research uses Typologi Klassen analysis, Williamson Index analysis, and descriptive analysis.The results of Typologi Klassen analysis during the periode 2001-2005 and 2006-2010 classify 3 districts included in quadrant I (fast forward and fast growing) , 5 districts included in quadrant II (forward but depressed), 2 districts included in quadrant III (fast growing), 4 districts included in quadrant IV (relatively underdeveloped) and 7 districts have been changed the pattern of economic development. Analysis Williamson Index shows that the value are low with an average index is 0.16994. So the strategies and policies an needed in the problem solving of disparity or inequality that occurred in Medan.Keywords : Economic Development Disparity, Klassen Typologi, Williamson Index

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the relationship between insider ownership by fund return, fund turn over, and fund tax cost. The method of sampling uses purposive sampling. The sample of this research is that active mutual fund shares during the period 2010-2013.The analysis method in hypothesis testing is to use Ordinary Least Square method (OLS), Fixed Effect Model (FEM), and Random Effect Model (REM). The result of the analysis with Random Effect Model indicates that the fund return in the form of negative affect yields with insider ownership and the magnitude of the impotion of the tax load mutual funds (fund tax cost) are not significant positive with insider ownership.The result of analysis of this study also showed that negative effect of fund turn over significantly with insider ownerhip. And the relationhip between insider ownership with independent variables showed that correlation quite weak. The result of this research indicate that the R-Squared (R2) only 0,397 (39,7%).Keyword: insider ownership, return, turn over, fund tax cost, mutual funds

Abstract

This study is to determine the level of passenger satisfaction with service quality in Kualanamu International Airport and to reveals the effort / strategy led by PT. Angkasa Pura II in achieving World Class Airport in Kualanamu International Airport. The method of data collection is done by questionnaires and direct interviews with informants. Analyze data using Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) to determine the satisfaction of passengers. The results shows that the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) at the level of to 73.6%, which means the value is in the category are enough satisfied. This shows that passengers satisfied with the performance and service given by PT. Angkasa Pura II. PT Angkasa Pura II has done some acceleration of infrastructure develop and conduct business strategy and synergy with related units. Abstract

This study aims to determine Madrasah Aliyah Negeri students in Medan interest of saving Islamic bank in Medan. This research is descriptive quantitative research using primary data. The variables used in this research consisted of a bank's reputation, confidence, and location as the independent variable and the interest of saving the student as the dependent variable. Sampling technique is done by simple random sampling using 100 students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Medan as a sample. The Methods of data collection use a self administrated survey, by giving questionnaires. The method used in this research is the descriptive analysis. Based on the results of analysis, it was found that Madrasah Aliyah Negeri students' interest in saving in Islamic banks in Medan is still low. Based on the data obtained it is known that bank reputation variables, beliefs, and location affect student interest in the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri decided to save the Islamic bank in Medan. The main obstacle that affects Madrasah Aliyah Negeri students' interest to save their money in Islamic banks is the location away from home.Keywords: Savings interest, Islamic banks, Madrasah Aliyah Negeri students in Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi dan menjadi penentu daya saing ekonomi Kota Tebing Tinggi pada tahun 2014 yang menggunakan Analisis Hierarki Proses (AHP).Penelitian ini data primer dengan kuisioner dan wawancara terhadap 30 responden yang terdiri dari mahasiswa, staf/pengajar, tokoh masyarakat, birokrasi, perbankan, non perbankan dan pengusaha.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa faktor yang paling dominan dalam meningkatkan daya saing ekonomi Kota Tebing Tinggi, yang pertama adalah infrasrtuktur fisik (0,272), kemudian faktor tenaga kerja dan produktivitas (0,239), faktor kelembagaan (0,205), faktor perekonomian daerah (0,169), dan posisi yang terakhir sosial politik (0,116).Kata kunci : Daya Saing Ekonomi, Analisis Hierarki Proses.
