Abstract

Has designed a safety device motorcycles ATMega8535 based microcontroller using RFID sensors. Broadly speaking, the design consists of several parts, namely RFID reader, RFID Tag, microcontroller, limit sensor, relay, and an LCD for displaying the results. The purpose of this design is to create a system of two-wheeled motor vehicle safety. The way the device works is if juxtaposed RFID Tag RFID reader has been initialized first then the system immediately responds automatically open. However, if the RFID tag to the RFID reader kompatimbel not then the system does not respond (closed), the alarm sounds.Telah dirancang sebuah alat pengaman kendaraan bermotor roda dua berbasis mikrokontroler ATMega8535 menggunakan sensor RFID. Secara garis besar perancangan ini terdiri dari beberapa bagian yaitu RFID reader, Tag  RFID, mikrokontroler, sensor limit, relay, dan LCD untuk menampilkan hasil. Tujuan rancangan ini adalah untuk membuat suatu sistem pengaman kendaraan khususnya bermotor roda dua secara elektronik. Cara kerja alat ini adalah jika Tag RFID didekatkan dengan RFID reader yang telah diinisialisasi terlebih dahulu maka sistem langsung merespon secara otomatis  terbuka. Namun  jika tag RFID tidak kompatimbel  dengan RFID reader maka sistem tidak  merespon (tertutup), alarm bunyi.Keywords: RFID Tag, RFID reader, Microcontroller, Relay

Abstract

abstract :The use of wireless communication systems (wireless) as a medium of communication in computer network system can be made by designing a system of monitoring wind speed and direction that will be sent wirelessly to a computer using a data communication at a frequency of 433.31 MHz on Module KYL 1020-U. Wind speed was measured using a censor that is connected to the wind Optocoupler cup. And for the direction of the wind is used IR LED and photodiode censors are mounted in pairs represents 8 cardinal directions. While as a data processing center, used microcontroller AVR ATMega8535. Measurements of wind speed and wind direction was made at a height of 1 meter above the ground in the area open.Systems monitoring wind speeds have approached the measurement results obtained with the standard tools of measurement results in the station Central Calibration Laboratory of Climatology  Meteorology  Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BBMKG ) Region I Field with 6,33% accuracy. The results of the design of monitoring wind direction has a resolution of 45 may indicate an 8 cardinal directions. Throw Distance wifi module is capable of transmitting data at both the coverage radius of 100 m in the open field,

Abstract

Polymer’s roof has been made using of waste rubber industry and used high density polyethylene (HDPE) in a mixture of asphalt and fine sand. The study was conducted to determine the optimum mixture of HDPE and fine sand used as independent variables with the variation of the composition of 60:15 gr, 55:20 gr, 50:25 gr, 45:30 gr, 40:35 gr, 35:40 gr, 30:45 gr, 25:50 gr, 20:55 gr, 15:60 gr. Then epoxy resin and catalyst was added. Then it pressed on Hot Compressor with heating temperature of 150°C in 15 minutes. Properties of the Polymers’s roof were tested physical properties such as porosity and water absorption, mechanical properties including impact tests, and flexural strength test. The results showed that the mixture a good fit by the experiment is a mixture of used HDPE and fine sand in the ratio 55:20 gr with 5 gr additional asphalt that useful as a barrier against water and 10 gr of epoxy resin as an adhesive.   Key words: Polymer’s roof, waste rubber, high density polyethylene (HDPE)

Abstract

ABSTRACT   Studies have been for the preparation and characterization ceiling that made from oil palm stem powder and sugar cane waste by epoxy as adhesive .The variations of oil palm stem powder and sugar cane waste mixture as an independent variable with composition variations (4:0) gr, (3:1) gr, (2:2) gr, (1:3) gr, (0:4) gr. Then added by 8 ml of epoxy adhesive as fixed variables. The results showed that a good mix is a mixture (2:2) gr which has physical properties (density 1,14 gr/cm3, water absorption 11,39%) and the testing of mechanical properties (5 kJ/m2 impact test, flexural test 18,81 MPa, tensile strength test of 10,38 MPa), these results meet the standard of ISO 03 – 2105, 2006. Test results of DTA obtained the melting point 435 oC and critical point is 345 oC, with the results that the composition of (2:2) gr can be used as a ceiling.   Key words : Ceiling, Oil palm stem powder, sugar cane waste, epoxy resin

Abstract

Teoritical studies have been made regarding the transformation of the Schwarzschild metric in two coordinates, the Schwarzschild metric transformation study in two coordinates: coordinates Cartesian and accelerated time-space uniform in no time flat spaces as well as local effects of a gravitational field in curved space. Gravitational field in curved space is chosen the Schwarzschild field is usually expressed in spatial space balls. Through these transformations, their metrics contain two people: (1) the rates associated with elements within the framework of the accelerated line uniform, and (2) the tribe associated with the curvature and geodesic deviation with regard to the effect of the curvature of space time. So that the results obtained from the existence of similarities between inertial mass and gravitational mass are relation with the theory of general relativity can explain local effect in the gravitational field. Abstract

ABSTRACT   Research on the manufacture and characterization of paper made from a mixture of pineapple leaf and water hyacinth has been done. The research was conducted using semi-chemical, aiming to obtain an alternative raw material for paper and find out the optimum composition of the mixture of pulp pineapple leaf and water hyacinth. Variations weight percent of the mixture is 100:0%, 80:20%, 60:40%, 40:60%, 20:80%, 0:100%. Pineapple lef and water hyacinth cooked using a 1,5% solution of NaOH, at a temperature of 100oC, then performed with Ca(ClO)2 bleaching process, dried, and then the pulp is mixed according to the composition of the mixture that has been designed. Best composition of a mixture of pineapple  pulp and pulp leaves are water hyacinth leaf pineapple pulp 60% and 40% water hyacinth pulp in which the composition has a grammage 71,23 gr.m-2 and tear resistance 90,5874 mili N in accordance with standart SNI 14-01115-1998 for food wrapping paper with grammage value of 80 gr.m-2 and tear resistance 99 mili N.   Keywords: Pineapple leaf, Water hyacinth, pulp, and  paper.

Abstract

A Research on identification of insulator pin types of ceramic which is oftenused as an electrical in medium and high voltage has been done.Insulator pintypes of ceramic has 40% Mullite Phase with crystal structure isOrthorombic, lattice parameters a = 7,534 Å, b = 7,678 Å, and c = 2,8814 Å;50 % Quartz Phase with crystal structure is Hexagonal, lattice parameters a =4,9332 Å, b = 4,9332 Å and c = 5,4199 Å; 10% Graphite Phase with crystalstructur is Hexagonal, lattice parameters a = 2,4548 Å and c = 6,702 Å.Microstructure of insulator pin types of ceramic has carbon (C) 10,78 %,Oxygen (O) 49,72 %, Natrium (Na) 0,54 %, Al 9,40 %, Silicon (Si) 27,41 %and Calium (K) 2,15 %.Key words : Ceramic insulator, Crystal structure, XRD and SEM-EDX

Abstract

The Research for making and characterization of paper has been made by using crested pineapple and straw fiber. The study was conducted to determine the optimum mixture of crested pineapple fiber and straw fiber composition that varied to 100%:0%,  80%:20%, 60%:40%, 40%:60%, 20%:80%, 0%:100%. Dried crested pineapple cooked by using 1,5 % NaOH with 225 gr in 100 0C. Dried rice straw  was cooked with by using 1,5 % NaOH in 100 0C. Then , the pulp was dried under the sun. The pulp was washed and whitening process with clorine and then it was washed and dried. After that the pulp was mixed according to the ratio, that have been made. The paper with composition of crested pineapple get the index 16.819 Nm / g and tear index is 3.046 x 10-3 Nm2 / g and this paper gramatur 61.24 g/m2. While the rice straw paper composition’s index gained 13.745 Nm / g and tear index 3.559 x 10-3 Nm2 / g. The optimum result of paper was the composition with 40%crested pineapple and the composition with60% rice straw fiber with tensile index 16.945 Nm / g and tear index was 3.719 x 10-3 Nm2 / g, according to the paper with SNI 14-1308-1998. Abstract

Utilization of today's technology industry demands development in terms of accuracy, speed fully automated. One of the industry's use of technology such as the sorting of objects. Has designed a robot sorter 16 objects color based on microcontroller ATMega8535. The purpose of this study as a sorter object by color automatically with DT- Sense Color. Overall design of the robot consists of 4 (four) as the servo motor actuator arm, one (1) servo motor as the driving conveyors, DT-Sense Color as color sensors, Infra Red, Infra Red Adjustable, ATMega8535 microcontroller, LCD  2x16 and respectively 16th place for the color of objects to be sorted out. The method used for positioning objects laying on the color space used by the mapping method arena. The design which has been made ​​to produce 16 color sorting objects successfully read in conjunction with programs designed. Keywords: Color Sensor, Robot Arm, Microcontroller.

Abstract

Studies of polymer roof have been made with using tube rubber, polypropylene, sand, Asphalt and epoxy. Studies have been done to know the best combination of sand and tube rubber as free variable with composition of variations to 30:20gr, 32,5:17,5 gr, 35:15 gr, 37,5:12,5 gr, 40:10 gr, 42,5:7,5 gr, 45:5 gr, 47,5:2,5 gr. Then, constant variable has asphalt to 5 gr, poliypropilene 30 gr and epoxy 15 gr as glue in combination. tube-rubber waste melted (with extruder) and then it mixed with asphalt, sand, polypropylene, epoxy and catalyst. Then it was grinded in internal mixer for  1 hour at temperature of 150 0C. Then it was pressed with using Hot Compressor for 20 minutes with pressure 38 atm (38,5 x 105 Pa). The properties of polymer roof that analyzed to test physical properties such as water absorption and porosity, mechanical properties including impact test and bending strength test and thermal properties including Differential thermal Analysis test .The result of research show that the best combination based on test is the combination from sand and tube rubber with ratio (55:10) and additional 5 gr of asphalt as binding,30 gr of polypropylene with epoxy 14% and catalyst 1%   Key words : tube rubber, polypropilene, Polymer Roof, Sand and Asphalt
