Abstract

The use of infrared radiation as a home security system is one of the technology improvisations that utilize physics phenomena. This research focuses on the designing of simple control systems based on Arduino Uno and GP2Y0A21YK0F infrared sensors along with other components.  The working principle of this system starts when the IR sensor detects moving objects in the vicinity of the house in which infrared radiation is reflected and this gives outputs in the form of distance value from the display as well as movement and sound from servo to inform the occupants of the object’s whereabouts. Data obtained from the display system showed an approximation of the real distance value. Therefore, occupants can know the distance of the moving object.

Abstract

The paper intends to discuss the status of data mining applications in the normal and critical healthcare system of Bangladesh.  The paper also focuses on the data mining strategies and processes in the current healthcare system in Bangladesh. This is a secondary source-based review paper. The methodology chosen for the study is a literature review and document analysis. The literature review was done through the analysis of book chapters, research-based articles, review-based journal articles, organizational reports, and conference papers. The key findings of the study indicate that as Bangladesh is not a developed country and is a developing one, the country’s healthcare system is not up to the required standard, and the application of data mining techniques is very limited and in most cases, it is at the policy level. The implementation and practice of data-mining techniques is available in internationally recognized organizations and institutions. In these circumstances, the country’s healthcare policymakers and administrators should employ experts in data mining in healthcare services and facilities and standard technologies should be included in their administering the data mining in healthcare facilities. Besides, data mining should be incorporated with other related concepts and strategies to make the highest outcomes in health care systems.

Abstract

Indomaret Semuli Raya is a company that competes in the industrial world. In the industrial world, the quality of products marketed is an important indicator for Indomaret Semuli Raya to be able to stand during intense competition from other companies. Product quality is certainly the thing that attracts consumers. In dealing with problems that occur in the company, it must make the right decision in determining the product strategy to be sold, to get the right decision, sufficient item data is needed to be analyzed. This research raises the issue of whether or not goods are worth selling in the category of damaged goods at Indomaret Semuli Raya in the period from February to March 2023. Data mining is used in this study, specifically the C4.5 Algorithm Method. The author chose the C4.5 Algorithm method because it can be used to determine whether or not damaged goods are unfit for sale. Algorithm C4.5 will determine damaged goods based on the attributes that become the standard for the eligibility of goods. The attributes referred to in this study are Overweight, Brackage, Sell by, and Moisture and temperature. The aftereffects of manual computations by means of Microsoft Succeed utilizing the C4.5 Calculation have a precision of 90.00% then demonstrated by the RapidMiner application with an exactness of 90.00%.

Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the approximation and stability solutions of non-linear systems of integro-differential equations of Volterra type with boundary conditions, by using the numerical-analytic method which were introduced by Samoilenko. The study of such integro-differential equations leads to extend the results obtained by Butris for changing the system of non-linear integro- differential equations of Volterra type to the system of non-linear integro-differential equations of the Volterra type with boundary conditions. Theorems on a solutions are established under some necessary and sufficient conditions on compact spaces.

Abstract

Artificial learning techniques are currently used for weather and climate forecasting, etc. In this paper, we will evaluate three algorithms for predicting meteorological parameters based on the humidity parameter. Our dataset was taken from Mbujimayi airport in the DRC. So, having the real-world data at our disposal, we used these Machine Learning tools to interpret and understand what happened by training the three models separately, and draw the conclusion as to which was the best model. Then, we used the three models to make some predictions about what our environment will be like tomorrow, and to draw conclusions and make decisions about whether or not our climate is already facing climate change. Three models are used: Decision tree, k-nearest neighbor and neural network, the analysis reveals that of the three models tested, the decision tree scored 81.8% after training with an average prediction of 71.5%, in second place we have the K-nearest neighbor with a score of 70% after training with an average prediction of 70, 8% and the cloture neural network with 64% training and an average prediction of 66.1%. Thus, the decision tree outperforms the other models in terms of training and prediction of meteorological parameters, and is the best model with a very high performance compared to the other models.
