Abstract

Stunting cannot be addressed solely through technical approaches, but requires structured and socially-based cross-sectoral collaboration. This study aims to analyze the forms of institutional collaboration and the role of social capital in supporting the effectiveness of Rumah Pelita in Semarang City, an intersectoral daycare service that focuses on restoring the nutrition and development of stunted children. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results show that Rumah Pelita's success in reducing the prevalence of stunting by 50-60% is influenced by the strength of social networks between agencies, parents' trust in caregivers, and collective work norms. The program integrates nutritional interventions, child development stimulation, parenting classes, and intensive monitoring. These findings reinforce the relevance of Putnam's social capital theory in explaining how networks, trust and social norms can strengthen cross-sectoral cooperation. In conclusion, Rumah Pelita can be used as a replication model for collaboration-based stunting interventions in other urban areas, as well as making a theoretical contribution to strengthening the concept of social capital in public health policy.

Abstract

The research analyzes the Integrated Electoral Cartelization phenomenon as a new model of political cartelization in Indonesia, where the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (Koalisi Indonesia Maju/KIM) intervened in the 2024 regional elections in six strategic provinces (Jakarta, Banten, West Java, East Java, Central Java, and Banten). This research used a case study qualitative approach based on literature review from journals and online media reports. The analysis method used the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana technique, namely condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that political cartel intervention in the realm of regional head elections uses three patterns. First, the appointment of candidates by national elites. Second, the co-optation of former opposition parties. Third, the exclusion of parties outside the cartel. Different from Katz & Mair's (1995) theory that focuses on state subsidies in Western Europe, or Slater (2006) & Ambardi's (2008) Indonesian-style study on post-election transactions, the concept of Integrated Electoral Cartelization shows the expansion of a new form of cartel politics characterized by parties as agents of cartels that serve a centralized party oligarchy.

Abstract

Political participation in elections is an equal political right and opportunity for the community without discriminating against certain groups, including people with disabilities. The Sehati Association as a community organization based on community development and empowerment for persons with disabilities in Sukoharjo Regency is influential in efforts to increase the political participation of persons with disabilities. The purpose of this study is to describe the political participation of the Sehati Association and analyze the factors inhibiting the political participation of the Sehati Community in the 2024 elections in Sukoharjo Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, which was conducted in Sukoharjo Regency. The data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. Data validity uses the triangulation method. The results of this study indicate that the form of political participation of the Sehati Association in the 2024 Election is participation in voting rights, participation in political discussions through the Socialization of the 2024 Election Kirab, participation of the Sehati Association in the Voting Committee, Voting Implementation Group, and Monitoring Team for the implementation of elections, and creating interest groups with the aim of advocating for the fulfillment of political rights of disabilities. In addition, there are several factors that hinder the political participation of the Sehati Association in the 2024 elections, namely political education for election organizers and the community, accessibility of polling stations for disabilities, lack of assistance and support from families, culture inherent in society, and distrust of disabilities towards the government.

Abstract

Abstract

This article examines the political relevance of Pancasila in the context of shifting political orientations among the younger generation in the digital era. The advancement of information technology has significantly reshaped patterns of political participation, the internalization of national values, and the ethical behavior of youth in digital spaces. Employing a qualitative descriptive method through a comprehensive literature review, this study draws from a wide range of academic sources to explore the evolving relationship between digitalization and civic identity. The findings suggest that while digital platforms offer new avenues for political engagement, they simultaneously pose critical challenges such as polarization, the spread of disinformation, and the erosion of Pancasila-based values. Strengthening the political relevance of Pancasila in the digital realm is therefore imperative for preserving national identity and moral integrity. This effort requires strategic synergy among families, educational institutions, government entities, and media platforms to instill Pancasila values in a contextual and meaningful manner for the digital-native generation. Ultimately, the study underscores Pancasila not merely as a constitutional foundation, but as a guiding ethical framework for nurturing responsible and dignified digital citizenship.
