Abstract

The pioneer youth programme is the flagship government programme of the North Sumatra Youth and Sports Service. This program was developed with the aim of encouraging a pioneering spirit among youth, finding youth who have pioneering potential in developing their potential to create something real that is of quality and carried out consistently and persistently which benefits the community and is recognised by various parties and the government. However, there are often mistakes in the selection of pioneer youth. The problem faced by the selection team is how to determine outstanding youth from a number of alternative youth who have the ability to pioneer so that it is less targeted in providing the best value to be analysed. To anticipate that there will be no errors in the selection of Pioneer Youth, a Decision Support System is needed. One method that can be used for Decision Support Systems is to use COPRAS (Complex Proportional Assessment). The research was conducted by finding the weight value for each attribute, then a ranking process was carried out which would determine the optimal alternative. It is hoped that the results of this research can help the Selection Team in determining youth who deserve to be pioneer youth. The final results showed that Dedy was recommended as a pioneer youth at the national and provincial levels in North Sumatra with a final score of 100.

Abstract

The process of selecting the North Sumatra Language Ambassador at the North Sumatra Language Hall is still classified as manual, there is no system that helps in the selection so that it takes a long time to process it, the accuracy of the selection process carried out is less precise and the resulting decision is less satisfying so that it makes it difficult for the jury to assess and make decisions to select the North Sumatra Language Ambassador at the North Sumatra Language Hall and the decisions made by the jury are less satisfying to the participants. Overcoming these problems, it is necessary to build a decision support system application for the selection of North Sumatra Language Ambassadors using the promethee method so that it helps and facilitates the jury in conducting assessments and making decisions to select North Sumatra Language Ambassadors and decisions that are determined by valid and satisfactory results. The final result decided that Hamsa Aulia Pohan with an outranking flow of 1.345833 was appointed as the North Sumatra Language Ambassador.

Abstract

PT. ISS Medan is a company operating in the service sector. The main activity of PT.iss Medan is to provide leading integrated facility services to more than 62,000 staff, 3,000 clients and nine branch offices in Medan. The company always tries to maintain a good reputation in the eyes of its customers. Good quality service will attract those who use the company's services. However The company does not have measuring instruments to determine the level of customer satisfaction with the services provided. Rough Set is a data mining method that is related to category analysis and data classification and aims to synthesize a conceptual approach from the data tables obtained. Rough sets find hidden relationships from data sets and reduct attributes from a series of attribute classifications, and the reduct will produce a general rule. The results of the customer satisfaction level rule illustrate that confidence is the main dimension in determining the level of customer satisfaction which is then supported by integrity. , pride (pride), and passion (desire).

Abstract

PT. Penerbit Mitra Group is one of the companies engaged in the field of book publishing. In the input of book publishing data is still manual and there is no support system in terms of making book publishing reports are still done manually, namely by inputting data one by one using the Microsoft Office Excel application, this causes a waste of time in making publishing reports. Therefore, a book publishing information system based on visual basic is needed to make it easier for employees to make book publishing reports so that they can save time in making the report. The system design stage used includes data flow diagrams (DFD), flowcharts and for data storage using MySQL databases and applications and the interface design is made as similar as possible to the old system so that it is easier for employees to adapt to the new system. The system that is built is expected to be able to help and ease activities in the company and can save time in making publishing data reports and produce final reports that are more accurate and easy to understand and comprehend.

Abstract

Current database technology makes it possible to store huge amounts of accumulated data but this is where the data explosion problem arises, for example at the University. Budi Darma University Medan is still analyzing data manually to determine the promotion strategy plan of the geographic distribution of students. The distribution of students can be done by grouping student data based on the similarity of the characteristics of the data using the clustering method with the dbscan algorithm. Making data mining applications aims to make it easier to analyze student distribution groupings. The data used is data from the 2018 to 2019 batch of students. In this study the application was built using Rapid Miner. This technique can determine clusters of irregular data shapes and can handle noise effectively. This research focuses on the implementation of the DBSCAN method in the process of grouping the distribution of student areas from the university as a promotion strategy for the Budi Darma University campus in the future. It is hoped that the system will be built in accordance with the expectations of researchers, so that it can classify the distribution of student areas from as a Budi Darma University campus promotion strategy.
