Abstract

Poultry demand increasingly higher demands adequate supply of poultry meat in the community. Utilizing modern farming technology for the mass production of seedlings poultry egg incubator that uses electrical equipment. The tool have a manual thermostat can not adjust the type of eggs that will be hatched and can not compensate for extreme weather changes. Microcontroller technology produces devices that can regulate the temperature of the egg incubator and compensate for extreme climate change. In this research aims to apply egg incubator tool microcontroller ATMega8535 as a temperature regulator.Keywords: egg incubator equipment, temperature control, ATMega8535

Abstract

Platform Web 2.0 utilities are websites that are colaburative, interactive, allowing users not only to read information but also to post information and interact with others. These tools offer new opportunities for designing instruction for heightened student engagement, particularly inlearning. This paper is a very practical introduction to using common Web 2.0 tools including wikis, blogs, social media, and social bookmarking sites etc. Sample assignments developed and used by the author or described in the literature are described. These assignments are adaptable for use in a variety of disciplines. Wikis are very useful for group work. Blogs can be used effectively for journals and independent studies. Social bookmarking can enhance organization and sharing of professional web resources. Specific tips for setting up and working with the sites are given as well as recommended resources including handouts and videos that introduce the sites. Other types of Web 2.0/social networking sites with promise for use in higher education, such as multimedia production sites, are briefly described and specific sites recommended.Keywords: Web 2.0 Technologies, Higher Education Teaching, Interactive Websites

Abstract

One unit of P3B Jawa Bali, Central Java and DI Yogyakarta region responsible for operating and maintaining the installation of electric power transmission network in Central Java and Yogyakarta. With the transmission network configuration changes for reasons of consumer needs and for the reliability of the power supply necessary to study the effect of changing the configuration of the coordinated protection system conductor. As happened in the subsystem Kudus-Jekulo-Pati is changing the configuration of the GI Jekulo single phi into a double phi. This change affects the coordination of in the subistem, which overlap in Zone 2 distance in the direction of the GI Kudus-Jekulo to Zone 2 distance relays in GI Jekulo Pati direction, it is known after the scanning process. And to anticipate the problems it is necessary to resetting or setting recalculation distance relay is in the GI Kudus-Jekulo direction, which is expected to resetting, the coordination of protection systems in the susbsistem Kudus-Jekulo-Pati as expected. Abstract

One of the factors that affect power quality is harmonic distortion. Harmonic distortion is measured by the value of Total Harmonics Distortion, THD. THD of Voltage harmonics always be a guide to the basic values of the instantaneous waveform. The research on the evaluation of the voltage harmonic distortion of the power system for Hospital of Panti Wilasa Citarum Semarang is necessary, because the hospital has loads of medical equipment, which requires a voltage supply of good quality, so that the equipment can work with good performance without any equipment malfunctions. Evaluation of voltage harmonic distortion of the power system of Panti Wilasa Citarum Hospital Semarang performed on all three existing MDP. Evaluation results show that these three pieces of existing MDP has Harmonic voltage distortion is still below the limit allowed by the IEEE Standard.Key Words : Harmonics, THD, Harmonics Evaluation
