Abstract

Its objective is to provide knowledge and skills to the group of partners to increase the capability cultivation technology systems patchouli Alley Cropping on the sidelines of cocoa cropping, and produce quality patchouli oil products from the harvest and post-harvest handling is optimal. Alley Cropping system as part of efforts to increase the income of cocoa farmers through the use of empty space in between cocoa cropping. The method used is the counseling and training with material knowledge of basic techniques Alley Cropping systems and knowledge in harvesting and postharvest handling of patchouli. In addition, it is expected an increase in the cultivation of partner skills Alley Cropping system patchouli on the sidelines of cocoa cropping. Of the activities carried out can be concluded that the concept of Alley Cropping received enough good of the citizens to be applied on cocoa plantations. Knowledge of patchouli cultivation techniques applied include the selection of superior varieties, breeding, maintenance techniques, reduction and prevention of pests and diseases, cover and lighting requirements for patchouli, and staple crops and plant maintenance stream.

Abstract

The condition in the Village Pattiro Deceng depicted a great potential to manage natural resources in the era of autonomy area, where the Diffusion program and Iptek usage in remote villages can not listed in optimum. The impact desired of this program is the utilization of resources nature in the village into an energy source an alternative that is a new energy is renewable through the making biogas of cow dung. Problems facing the current partner based on the survey results conducted by the team is: Technology Right of the farm and ranch the processing dirt livestock be biogas, has the potential to be processed into biogas very large, lack of sanitation environment area cattle, Ingredients fuel for household there are still using the firewood, less information and understanding in the field of IPTEK. Deploy IbM does is lecture, then make the tool biogas training, counseling we provide is on environmental sanitation, biogas, providing a clean environment understanding of the cage, entrepreneurship, to provide knowledge of economic value when used ox dir into biogas. And effluent (the result of fermentation), given the knowledge to make solid and liquid manure.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium business group is a labor-intensive, the use of a relatively small venture capital and technology tend to be simple. This business group has the potential to improve living standards. On the island of Lae-Lae District of Ujung Pandang Makassar City there are groups of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that the Sinar Lae-Lae and the Anggur group. SME group is developing marine products such as fish, squid and seaweed. This business group has a lot of innovation in producing seafood products such as meatballs, shredded fish, sweets and crackers seaweed.  The results of the discussion and identification of problems in the production of a group of SMEs found that the amount of production is limited because of production activities take place only at night when the electricity supply is available. Variations seaweed crackers produced limited and the packaging of the product be done without tools vacuum sealer. In addition, the packaging of sweets seaweed less attractive, is not hygienic and does not include the date of production. Targets were achieved in both groups of SMEs are to increase production through the installation of solar panels so that the production process can be done not only at night but also during the day. In addition, create a variant form of seaweed crackers crackers using molds, packaging more attractive by means of vacuum sealer, hygiene and labeling of products produced.
