Abstract

The separation of upgoing and downgoing waves in Vertical Seismic Profiling (VSP) is effectively accomplished using the singular value decomposition method. The VSP data can be decomposed into eigenimages which is directly proportional to the singular value.

Abstract

Since the seventies, remote sensing data have been widely used in petroleum exploration in Indonesia. These include Landsat. Spot and Radar imageries, apart from the conventional aerial photographs. Examples from Nias Island, East Kalimantan Basin and Irian Jaya, will be presented to show the extensive application of remote sensing techniques in general geological mapping and hydrocarbon exploration.

Abstract

Grubbs T-Test has been consistenly used in startistical analysis for rejection of outliers in ASCOPE Laboratory Test Correlation Programme.The present paper compares the effects of using other statistical test, namely Ferguson b2-Test and Dixon r-Test on the rejection of Laboratory test resultsAlthough these methods gave conflicting verdicts on some of the laboratory results, it seems that the use of Grubbs T-Test is quite satisfactory for the purpose of ASCOPE Laboratory Test Correlation Programme.

Abstract

Selective hydrocracking of heavy distillate to high viscocity index of lube base stock has been carried out at the operating conditions: temperatures: 380° - 410°C, pressure: 100kg/cm2, H2/HC = 1000 lt/lt with bifunctional catalysts having various acidity using a catasest unit operated with a continuous system.
