Abstract

A chromatographic study on the properties of polypyrrole-based conductive polymers has been carried out. The polymers were chemically axidantively prepared and coated directly onto silica particles and packed under high pressure into stainless steel chromatography columns. A series of small molecules were used as test compounds and chromatographic measurements were performed under reserved phase condition. The study revealed the properties of the polymers, such as their hydrophobicity, which were deduced from their behaviour in the interactions with the test compounds.
A COMPUTER PROGRAM TO PREDICT SCALING TENDENCY OF OIL-FIELD WELL WATER COMPOSITE S. Mulyono

Abstract

A simple computer program based on LOTUS 1-2-3 Release 2.3 or 2.4 has been prepared for scaling tendency prediction of oilfield well water composite. Up to four individual well waters can compose the composite. Scaling material considered are calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, and barium sulfate.

Abstract

The utilization of natural gas as vehicles’ fuel (BBG) is now being developed in Indonesia for either private cars or public cars. The reasons of using BBG are (1) the price of BBG is lower than fuel oil (BBM), (2) the cost of BBG’s cars maintenance is lower than BBM’s cars maintenance, (3) BBG is an environmentally friendly fuel. Moreover, BBG’s infrastructure has been built in some big cities.
