Abstract

Social changes in human life make the challenges in the education world greater, like in Temajuk schools. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that; first, a boundary school in Temajuk was inseparable from the explorations carried out by the Paloh community in 1980; second, value internalization from schools in Temajuk does not play an important role if there is no collaboration among teachers, students and community. Third, obstacles in the education world which were caused by the effects of globalization era does not only give impact in urban areas or developing areas but also the boundary areas in Temajuk

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan imajinasi kreatif peserta didik berbasis neurosain dalam proses pembelajaran keagamaan Islam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif model Haberman dan Miles. Dalam periode keemasan anak, seluruh aspek berkembangan sangat pesat sehingga diperlukan stimulasi yang optimal, salah satunya dengan pengembangan imajinasi kreatif. Selama ini imajinasi kreatif belum banyak dikembangkan bahkan dianggap sebagai ganguan belajar. Tetapi, dalam lintasan sejarah banyak ilmuwan yang di masa anak-anak mengedepankan imajinasi kretifnya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa imajinasi kreatif bukan ganguan pembelajaran melainkan teknik optimalisasi fungsi otak lebih maksimal. Kegiatan-kegiatan pembelajaran yang menstimulasi imajinasi kreatif anak seperti bermain musik religi, pembacaan kisah-kisah agung, nyanyian-nyanyian spiritual, tarian-tarian estetik, lukisan-lukisan unik, dan lain-lain sangat penting dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran keagamaan Islam.

Abstract

Student discipline is one of the internal factors to achieve learning objectives. Discipline is formed because of the influence of the culture of the surrounding environment over a long period of time consistently and continuously. Watnatham Islam School uses two types of curriculum, which are Islamic and academic curriculum. It influences the culture of discipliness in schools and boarding schools. This study aims to (1) describe the level of discipline of students and (2) describe school efforts to improve student discipline in the academic curriculum learning process and Islamic curriculum at high Mattayom Watnatham Islam School Panare Pattani-South Thailand on 2018-2019. This research is a qualitative research with field research as the method. Data was collection using (1) interviews, (2) observations, and (3) documentation. The analysis technique used in this study is a data analysis technique developed by Miles, Huberman and Saldana, which consist of data collection, condensation data, data display, conclusion drawing and verification

Abstract

The Curriculum Analysis of Islamic Education in Indonesia and Thailand (The Study of Curriculum 2013 and Curriculum 2008 in senior high school level). This study aims to determine the concept of PAI in Curriculum 2013 in Indonesia and Curriculum 2008 in Thailand at high school level (SMA).This research is a qualitative research by the use of literature study approach. The results of the study that: a) The policy of Curriculum 2013 in Indonesia and Curriculum 2008 in Thailand refers to the law of national education system in each country. b) Both curricula share the graduate competence standards (SKL) in common, being pious and skilful person in life, c) The content standard of both curricula refers to (SKL) in Indonesia, it is derived to be the core competence standard (KI) and basic competence (KD) while Curriculum 2008, it is derived to be learning standard (SP) and basic competence (KD), d) The Process Standard in Curriculum 2013 is implemented though a scientific approach which consists of observing, questioning, associating, experimenting, and networking. Meanwhile, Curriculum 2008 is implemented in a student centred approach with consists of an integrated approach, thinking, creating knowledge and social, problem solving, learning from experience, direct practice, research, independent learning, and moral action. e) Assessment standard In Curriculum 2013, used was an authentic assessment which consist of assessment test (paper and pencil test), performance, project, and portfolio for all grades in all educational system level. However, Curriculum 2008 assessed by using personal communication assessment, performance assessment, authentic assessment, and portfolio for all grades in every national education system level.

Abstract

Munculnya berbagai kekerasan seksual yang terjadi di masyarakat yang disebabkan oleh orang terdekat, terutama dari lingkungan keluarga, memunculkan masalah pentingnya memahami masyarakat terhadap konsep mahram, sebuah konsep dalam ajaran Islam yang mengatur batasan seseorang untuk menikah atau menikahi seseorang berdasarkan nasab, saudara kandung, dan mushoharoh. Dengan memahami konsep itu, seorang Muslim akan tahu bagaimana harus bersikap dengan mahramnya dan bukan mahramnya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji penggunaan grafik pohon dalam topik teori grafis untuk mempelajari konsep mahram yang terkandung dalam surah An Nisa ayat 23. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif analitik dengan menggunakan instrumen tes, kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan konsep grafik pohon dapat membantu seorang Muslim untuk belajar dan memahami konsep mahram dengan mudah.

Abstract

IMPLEMENTASI SISTEMIK PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DI LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN ISLAM. Studi ini menfokuskan pada integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dalam lembaga Pendidikan Islam dan peran sentralnya dalam pembangunan budaya sekolah berdasarkan hubungan antara kebijakan sekolah, kegiatan pembelajaran dan kegiatan pembinaan kesiswaan melalui manajemen sekolah. Untuk mendapatkan hasil penelitian yang mendalam, utuh, obyektif  dan memperoleh umpan balik peningkatan kualitas kegiatan serta hasilnya maka peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang bersifat deskriptif. Temuan penelitian ini adalah internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter terintegrasi secara sistemik melalui Character Managemnet. Character Management yang dijalankan dengan mengatur kesinambungan antar tiga item yaitu (1) Kebijakan Lembaga; (2) Pembelajaran; (3) Pembinaan Kesiswaan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of assessment in the implementation of UIN Suska Riau curriculum integration and the difference in assessment quality in the implementation of curriculum integration in terms of lecturers’ educational background. This was descriptive quantitative research to explore the data from various informants and resources in accordance with the issues reviewed. Furthermore, the informants in this study were lecturers of UIN Suska Riau. The data were collected using interviews and documentation to find out the results of the study using a test description and to determine the differences of  assessment quality in the curriculum integration implementation in terms of lecturers’ educational background seen from the mean (average) of each group. Based on the results of research and analysis, the assessment instrument quality classified as "good" with a percentage of 70.57% and there is a difference between the assessment instrument quality of education and non education lecturers in the curriculum integration implementation of UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau.

Abstract

The article aims to investigate the role of waqf in the modernization of education in Pesantren, by using a case study of the utilization of productive waqf at Modern Pesantren of Gontor and Pesantren of Tebuireng Jombang. The Method used is qualitative with phenomenological approach and comparative study. The result of the study shows that the pesantren built with Islamic philantrophy in the form of waqf institution is a good model for development of pesantren education in Indonesia’s contemporary era. The development process of waqf pesantren of Gontor Modern Pesantren and Tebuireng Pesantren is carried out with several supporting pillars, including: the pesantren administrators’ dedication of their wealth as waqf, the professional institutionalization of waqf pesantren in the form of the foundation’s legal entity, the productive management of waqf assets, and the productive utilization of waqf for the development of education. Both pesantrens have proven that the foundations’ nazir (administrator of waqf) have succeeded in productively managing the waqf in the pesantren community. This further cement the importance of pesantren as an integral part of the society.
