Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of ecosufism-based learning in pesantren and its role in shaping environmentally conscious students while achieving mental balance. This research was conducted at Al Mawaddah Islamic Boarding School in Kudus and Edi Mancoro Islamic Boarding School in Salatiga. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive thematic approach. The Al-Mawaddah Islamic Boarding School integrates the agricultural sector as a medium to cultivate students with spiritual, intellectual, leadership, and entrepreneurial excellence. Students uphold agricultural environments through eco-friendly practices as devotion to Allah. Meanwhile, the Edi Mancoro Islamic Boarding School incorporates ecosufism into the curriculum of its Islamic boarding school and affiliated educational institutions.  Creating aesthetically pleasing surroundings while preserving a rural atmosphere reflects the institution's commitment to upholding eco-conscious and traditional practices. An Islamic-based environmental curriculum should address global challenges, promote environmental appreciation, and align with Islamic principles in education.

Abstract

This research explored students’ perspectives regarding the opportunities and challenges in developing Islamic Education learning media. Using a quantitative approach with a survey research design, the study distributed questionnaires to gather data on students' views. The results were further explored and interpreted using semi-structured interviews and observations to enrich the findings and provide deeper insights. The collected data was analyzed to identify patterns and trends in their perspectives. The research found that students viewed the learning media development as supporting accessibility and flexibility, enhancing learning quality, and fostering student potential and motivation. Conversely, students identified inequality in access, teacher roles and challenges, and the quality and usability of digital media as significant obstacles. These findings offered valuable insights for educators and learning developers in designing strategies for integrating digital learning media for Islamic Education. However, this study was limited to student perspectives, and further research involving other stakeholders is recommended to provide a more comprehensive understanding about the topic

Abstract

This study explores the use of multimedia in teaching the Al-Qur'an to toddlers at the Kampong Gunong Qur'anic House in Belitung. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through interviews, observations, and documents. The findings highlight the effective use of multimedia tools, particularly Syaikh Kamil El Laboudy’s murattal video, in the Tabarak method of Al-Qur'an learning. This approach successfully motivated toddlers to memorize the Al-Qur'an quickly while improving the quality of their recitation. However, the study's limitations included its focus on a single institution and the short duration of the research, which did not examine long-term effects on childhood’s cognitive and spiritual development. Despite these limitations, the study contributed valuable insights into integrating technology in early children's religious education and offered recommendations for future research on the long-term impacts of multimedia-assisted Al-Qur'an learning.
