Abstract

Flood is one of the occasion that quite often happens in Semarang City. Dombo-Sayung is being one of the areas which flood is often happened there. Flood give many negative impacts that can’t be ignored, for example is cause damage to infrastructur: buildings, houses, and roads. And even stop the mobility in that area if the flood is happened for a long time. The purpose of Flood Control of Pucang Gading Weir System-Dombo Sayung, Semarang is to minimize or even avoid the flood happened in Dombo-Sayung Area by designing the flood control system which can overcome the flood problem. The method that used for Flood Control of Pucang Gading Weir System-Dombo Sayung Semarang are primary and secondary data collection, hydrology analysis such as flood’s hydrograph, hydraulics analysis for planning the dimension of retention pond and dimention of river improvement Dombo-Sayung Channels. Flood Control of Pucang Gading Weir System- Dombo sayung give result to using retention pond with the size is (300x190x7) m³ for run off volume channels is 334.691,643 m³ and  dimension of river improvement Dombo Sayung Channels becoming (35x6) m2 for the the income flow is 300 m³.

Abstract

The construction of Lemah Gempal Bridge in Semarang is aimed at providing alternative access to reduce traffic congestion around Siliwangi street and Kaligarang street. The construction of this road is to connect lemah Gempal and Simongan area in west semarang. The writer desained Lemah Gempal steel truss  bridge which spans 80 meters length accross banjir kanal river. This bridge consists of two spans, each span has 40 meters length. The bridge has  one pillar and two abutment. The  width of the bridge is 9 meters and divided into 2 lane. Each lanes  is 3,5 meters width. There are trotoars of I meter length on each side of  the lane.

Abstract

The system structure is a combination of various structural elements are arranged in such a way as to form a whole structure that can bear loads planned, (Steffie Tumilar). Dual structural system is a combination of frame and shearwall, the system is very important to apply to high-rise buildings such as sunter Park View Apartment , North Jakarta, Indonesia given the location of the region are located in earthquake prone areas because three regional meetings tectonic indo-australian plate, the eurasian plate and the pacific plate clashing.

Abstract

Approximately along 800 meters to 1 kilometers of Bawen - Ambarawa ring road is alleged built on soft structure soil. One of the location in this condition is the site of bridge Tambakboyo construction, where the 11 meters connection way (oprit) of the bridge collapsed even though has used geotextile and cerucuk bamboo. And abutment structure of Tambakboyo bridge with pile foundation became tilt and was found cavities in the girder beam and head of abutment about 20 centimeters and soil degradation of bridges oprit about ± 3,25 meters. This Final Project contains about manual calculation of bearing capacity and soil degradation of Bridges oprit that happened in the location and also contains about the calculation using Plaxis program. The alternative solution using Plaxis program is to change the abutment structure from using pile foundation to bore pile foundation. From the Plaxis Program, for Pile foundation abutment structure is obtained total of displacement about 1.91 meters, pile pondation degradation about 0.07741 meters, oprit degradation about 0,88416 meters, and safety factor (SF) amounted 1.1084. And for Bore Pile Fondation abutment structure is obtained total of displacement about 0.71522 meters, pile pondation degradation about 0.00553 meters, oprit degradation about 0,88416 meters and safety factor (SF ) amounted 1.5668.
