Abstract

Tidal flood which’s occured at Pekalongan City/District entered into settlement through a river that empties into the sea, beach and drainage. This condition will be critical when at the same time the highest tides and great flood. Tidal flood is predicted to increase due to rising sea levels ranged from 4,46 to 4,60 mm/year and there’s land subsidence about 3 cm/year. Tidal flood which’s enter into settlements with the river one of them occurred at Sengkarang river system (Sengkarang river, Meduri river and Bremi river). The occurrence of runoff in rivers such as the capacity of the river current is smaller than the existing discharge. To overcome this, the rivers will be evaluated its capacity to discharge plans return period of 25 years (Q25) which is accompanied by tidal conditions. Analysis is needed to evaluate the capacity of the river including hydrological, tidal and hydraulic analysis. Hydrological analysis is used to calculate the flood discharge plan with the HSS Gama 1 method. Tidal analysis is used to determine the height of the sea surface elevation. Hydraulic analysis is used to calculate the capacity and dimensions of the river using HEC-RAS 4.1 software. HEC-RAS simulation performed with two scenarios. The first scenario is the merge of the downstream of Meduri river and Bremi river with Sengkarang river. The second scenario is the separate of the downstream of Meduri river and Bremi river with Sengkarang river. Results from HEC-RAS simulation with discharge plans Q25 and tidal conditions/HHWL for existing cross-section of the river showed that hydraulically separated model is more profitable than merge model because the water level in separated scenario is lower than the merge scenario and estimated from sedimentation will better because its estuary has been separated.

Abstract

To be competitive in the market competition, then a company is required to be able to work without defects, especially in the production process, especially in terms of time, but in the process of production of the most common problem is the bottleneck. In addition, the process of making the finished product, if the consumer is too long to take the goods orders will certainly lead to additional cost for the manufacturer (PT. WIKA Beton Boyolali). Therefore, it is necessary to charge to cover the cost calculation the amount of cost / additional costs. The purpose and goal of this study was to maximize the production of piling PT. WIKA Beton Boyolali, as well as reducing the amount of losses arising from the cost / surcharge. Bottleneck determination made by the method of calculation of standard time each work station, while charging for the cost calculation performed by three methods: Base On Plan, Mixing Pile, Base On Demand. From the results of the analysis showed that the bottleneck is at the work station spinning, and to reduce the bottleneck distasiun the work can be done by adding the spinning tool and also the addition of workers / operators. While charging the cost of the analysis showed that of the three methods used, the most effective method is a method Charging Cost Base On Mixing Pile. It is expected to cost charging system is then the consumer can pay more attention to pick up their order as soon as possible when the order finished goods.

Abstract

Kudus Ring Road is a primary arterial road that connects traffic from the provincial capital of East Java’s Surabaya to the provincial capital of Central Java’s Semarang. This ring road was establised with the purpose to redirecting traffic without having to pass through the urban area, so it can reduced the traffic jam. First construction was started at 1997 and has several repairs or improvements. At an early age getting older, this ring road needs an evaluation for many fators such as traffic performance, road geometry, road pavement, drainage channel, and complement facility such as light lamp, road marker, and traffic’s signs. The results of the evaluation are expected to improve the quality of this ring road in serving the traffic movements.

Abstract

Ports of Pondok Dayung is one of the special port designation refers to as one of the supporting facilities and infrastructure facilities NKRI defense, such as privatization TNI navy military has its have means to sea port don't depend on other agencies. Planning a pool port of Pondok Dayung Fasarkan design covering breakwaters, design port dock, grooves cruise design, as well as design lap pool port. Functionally, this port will be used as a berthing dock and military vessels, as well as a repair ships for the Navy in particular regional western Indonesia and the surrounding region. Data processing in the planning include wind speed data processing used for forecasting wave generation in the area of the deep, significant wave height values obtained (Ho = 1.53 m) and significant wave period (To = 9.585 sec) using wave probabilias according Gumbel distribution (Fisher method type 1) when repeated waves during the 50-year plan. Data processing tidal water of the sea as well as the face of map data bathimetry high elevation used as reference breakwater planning and building a dock, from the calculation of the value obtained tidal water of sea level plan HHWL = + 51.4 cm, MSL = ± 0.0 cm, and LLWL = -34.6 cm. A fleet of data used as reference calculation wide planning a groove cruise obtained wide a groove 216 m (two paths) , and large the depth of the draft of the port plan the pool D=± 12.25 m from the sea bet. Data geotek worn to find out the characteristics of the ground used as reference planning breakwater type of the building , and planning foundation structure a wharf. Planning breakwater building used type of sloping side (1: 1.5) planned a total length L = 1292 m, the number of layers n = 2 Secondary layers thick layer t = 1 m heavy pieces of stone W = 168-200 kg for layers in the core layer of heavy point W = 16-20 kg, and the design elevation mercu of breakwater ± 3.79 m from MSL. Plan a wharf a total length of 252 m with elevation plan + 1,07 m of msl, plan a structure of plates thick the floor 20 cm, foundation structure piles spun pile Ø 50 cm with concrete quality K 500. Dock facilities that Fender type V (400H 1000L) with a impact energy capacity of 160 kN, as well as the type fastening a Bollard with pull capacity of 35 tons. During the planning there are several aspects of which suggested to examined more detail particularly on the big problem the value of sedimentation tranport large and shallow , with such a large value of sediment transport and sedimentation occurred in the port basin can be calculated and minimized optimally.

Abstract

Design structure of high story building by SNI 03-1726-2012 on this final report are designed inseismic zoning area of Semarang city usingthe structure frame system method with configuration structure collapsethe System Bearer Special Moment (SRPMK). This system is planned to use the concept of strong column weak beam, where the vertical elements of the structure (column) should be stronger than the horizontal elements of the structure (beam), to be plastically formed jointsfirst on the beam. The analysis of the structure of high story building by SNI 03-1726-2012 using software help SAP2000 v14 with the results of the analysis are used to determine the fundamental period of the structureand the forces acting on the structure. fundamental structural period must be limited so that the structure is not very flexible.

Abstract

Highway with it’s accessories are a mode of land transport infrastructure wich are essential to the flow of services and commodity that pass through the land. With the flow of commodity and services, it will affect the economic and social development around the existing road infrastructure. Semarang has a strategic location in the development of the Province of Central Java, because Semarang crossed by important lines that connect to the regional growth centers such as Semarang, Surakarta, and Yogyakarta and it’s location close to the capital city of Central Java Province, wich is the center of economic activity, governance, social and cultural areas in Central Java. However, various problems of traffic jam occurs in the area of Semarang, this requiring an improvement road planning that will be an alternative way into the city of Semarang. Passageway of Jl. Ambarawa- Jl. Soekarno Hatta located between Ambarawa and Bawen with land use as residential areas, schools, fields, and forests. The main problem that occurred in this passageway are a pretty damage road caused by overload traffic flow and also because of pavement over time factor and because of the road capacity doesn’t required yet to accommodate the current traffic load. The purpose and goal of this evaluation and improvement are to maximize road function as an alternative way, in the end it’ll support a movement that can achieve economic growth of the area as well as reduce the problem, with a longer design time. The results of evaluation for the existing roads are gives several factors to improvement road. Due to the improvement and widening of road, it is automaticaly should redesign the geometry. The entire analysis and engineering calculations are based on the Highways Regulations and Indonesian National Standard. The results of improvement design it is carried one step of planning to widen this road in 2016, for a Rengas-Bawen segment, Gembol-Doplang segment and Harjosari-Doplang segment now widened into 7 m, for Rengas – Bawen segment before was 5 m of lane, and was 3 m for Gembol-Doplang and Doplang-Harjosari, three of them are design with 2/2 undevided lane, with new shoulder width 1 m. Design pavement used flexible ones and for the existing pavement need overlay with thick layer of 7 cm using Laston MS 454. For widening used surface course with thick layer of 10 cm using Laston MS 454, for base course using a class A crushed stone with a thickness of 20 cm CBR 100% and the subbase course using class B gravel CBR 50% with thick layer of 12 cm and lied on subgrade form browny red silty clay with sand in CBR 6%. Hope that this evaluation and improvement design can provide comfort services to road users during the specified design time of 10 years with a plan of speed 50 km / hour and a maximum slope of 9%.

Abstract

Innovative of utilization of precast concrete is growing rapidly lately, one of them is precast plate flyslab. The purpose of this research was to evaluate of utilization of precast concrete compared with conventional concrete in construction projects. Research is aiming to determine the level of use of precast concrete, analyzing the aspect of time, costs, workers, and the environmental impact of the use of precast concrete in building. Implementation method used is the literature study, interviews with the participants construction (contractor, consultant, purveyor and supervisor), and field observations of the four projects building two to three floors, including two residences, one home store and a school building. The results of the comparison between the Flyslab precast plate method with conventional method obtained average reduction as follows : the duration of work between 3,94% - 72,97%, the number of workers between 51,33% - 87,45%, budget-estimate plan between 3,05% - 37,57%, and the reduction use of timber as formwork and scaffolding between 90,11% - 98,81%. Overall utilization of precast Flyslab plate is cheaper, faster, laborers are few, and more friendly to the environment if compared with conventional cast plate in place.

Abstract

EPC Project is one form of the concept of project management delegate responsibility for the activities of design / design (Engineering), procurement of material / equipment (Procurement) and the construction (Construction) to the EPC contractor. These projects are often found in large-scale projects, commonly known by the term special projects, such as construction or manufacturing industries such as oil refineries, fertilizer plants, which require a large investment in the thousands of items and activities. EPC Project quality control system is very interesting to note given the number and types of activities that the EPC contractor faced so much beyond the capacity of traditional projects. For example, this research takes a case study in EPC Project 1 Banyu Urip, Cepu Block. The purpose and objective of this thesis is to investigate the process scheme engineering, procurement, and construction EPC project, distinguishing characteristics of quality management systems in the EPC projects with traditional project, as well as to determine the function of the quality of a traditional and EPC projects, whether prioritizing Quality Inspection, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Total Quality Management. The survey results revealed that the control system is more complex EPC projects than in traditional projects, because it has special handling, as well as every detail of the work has reference document as proof of the quality of quality have been met, except that there are a variety of disciplines involved so we need a coordination good in each discipline. Either the EPC project or the traditional project implementing quality function based Quality Inspection, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance that the owner was completely satisfied with the results of the EPC contractor's performance even though there are thousands of jobs that need to be addressed.
