Abstract

Stunting can be seen from the condition where children experience impaired growth as a result of chronic nutritional problems. Several factors can cause stunting, including lack of knowledge of complementary feeding and nutrition awareness behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship of complementary feeding knowledge and nutrition awareness family behavior to the incidence of stunting in children aged 6-24 months at Polokarto Health Center. The research method used was observational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The results of the knowledge study showed a p-value = 0.003, meaning that there was a relationship between knowledge of complementary feeding with the incidence of stunting in children aged 6-24 months at the Polokarto Health Center. The results of behavioral research showed a p-value = 0.001, which means that there is a relationship between nutrition-conscious family behavior and the incidence of stunting in children aged 6-24 months at Puskesmas Polokarto. In this study it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge of complementary feeding and nutrition-conscious family behavior on the incidence of stunting in children aged 6-24 months at Puskesmas Polokarto.

Abstract

A hospital is a facility that generally raises the degree of public health. More and more human involvement makes hospitals have great potential to cause harm. To control the risk of accidents, it is necessary to identify hazards that exist in the workplace and evaluate the level of risk and control. One of the first stages in risk management is HIRARC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control). The existence of HIRARC makes it easier to compile a risk register or hospital risk register in each work unit. This study aims to analyze the application of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS) at Hospital X Surabaya based on HIRARC. This type of research uses qualitative research with a research sample of 78 respondents. Qualitative variables in this research used for analyze risk management and identify risk control through the process of observation and interviews. Qualitative data analysis is carried out through identification of initial conditions, exposure of interview results and qualitative content analysis. The results of the study stated that the implementation of occupational safety and health management has been carried out at Hospital X Surabaya. OHS risk management is very important in preventing workplace accidents and improving performance. In this study, the HIRARC approach (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) found three levels of risk in hospitals, namely high risk, moderate risk and low risk. The results showed that the implementation of OHS risk management was used to identify, evaluate, and control OHS risk. The thing that cannot be avoided from work activities is a risk. Based on this, it is expected that there will be an increase in understanding and awareness related to OHS in hospitals, the application of risk control, routine evaluations and good cooperation and coordination between the OHS team and health workers for the implementation of OHSAS

Abstract

Musculoskeletal is a system that often experiences increased loads and injuries in every job, including tambourine craftsmen. Data shows that 95% of tambourine craftsmen experience musculoskeletal complaints, of which 55% occur in the lower back area, 20% in the right shoulder area, 15% in the left shoulder area and 10% experience cramps. Objective: This research is to analyze the comparison of work attitudes with the incidence of lower back pain in tambourine craftsmen in Bungah Village, Bungah District, Gresik Regency). Method: Cross sectional survey research design with observation. The population is all tambourine craftsmen in Bungah Village, Bungah District, Gresik Regency, totaling 150 people. Meanwhile, the sample size was 110 respondents taken using simple random sampling. The independent variables are sitting work attitude and standing work attitude, while the dependent variable is the incidence of low back pain. The instrument uses a closed questionnaire. Analysis uses the Chi-Square test with alpha 0.05. Results: Research shows that almost all of the working attitudes of tambourine craftsmen (83.6%) are ergonomic sitting working attitudes, while the majority (69.1%) are standing working attitudes with low risk. Almost all complaints of low back pain among tambourine crafters (79.1%) were not low back pain. The Chi-Square test results for the sitting work attitude have a p value = 0.000 < 0.05 with OR = 18.400, and for the standing work attitude the p value = 0.000 < 0.05 with OR = 3.091. Conclusion: There is a difference in work attitude regarding the incidence of low back pain in tambourine craftsmen with a sitting work attitude having a greater risk level than standing. Monotonous work positions should be avoided and stretching should be done so that muscles do not become stiff and symptoms of lower back pain can be avoided.
