Abstract

This study is about the Influence of Motivation, Work Environment and Work Discipline on Employee Performance (Case Study On Employee PT. KAO Semarang). This research was made possible thanks to employee performance problems allegedly caused by work motivation, work environment and work discipline that is less than PT. KAO Semarang. Purpose of this study was to determine the effect Influence of Motivation, Work Environment and Work Discipline on Employee Performance either partially or simultaneously. With the holding of this study, it can be a policy about motivation, work environment, work discipline and performance of employees so that the company's goals can be achieved with optimal.This type of research is explanatory research or explanation. The population in this study are employees of PT. KAO Semarang as many as 100 people. Engineering samples are used so that the whole population census used as a sample. Thus the sample used as many as 100 people. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, while data analysis technique used is to test the validity, reliability, t test, F test test, determination coefficient and regression analysis. Calculations in this study using SPSS 16.0 for Windows.The calculations show that: work motivation has an average value of 3.86 to be in either category, work environment has an average value of 3.66 to be in either category, variable working discipline has an average value of 3.62 so as to be in either category, there is an influence either partially or simultaneously variables of motivation, work environment and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. KAO Semarang. Advice given is the motivation is the variable that has the most impact on the performance of employees of PT. KAO should therefore notice company employee motivation problem by maintaining and improving work motivation, work discipline is a variable that has the least effect on the performance of employees of PT. KAO thus the company should improve and increase, for other researchers, if want to do research on the performance it should use other variables in addition to the variables contained namely research work motivation, work environment and work discipline to predict performance. Other variables that are used to predict the performance of which is leadership, organizational commitment, compensation. Thus the research on this performance will be more perfect.

Abstract

Every company needed human resources management to achieve success. Human resource management played an active role in improving performance of the employeethrough a number of variables that affect it, such as leadership, motivation, and workingdiscipline. Perum Perumnas Regional V Semarang was a public company engaged in the saleand development of national housing, but in fact there were still problem that cause adecrease in performance of the employee. So, the purpose in this study to identify and explainthe effect of leadership, motivation, and working discipline at Perum Perumnas RegionalOffice V Semarang.This type of research was explanatory. Data collection technique with interviews andquestionnaires against 62 respondents with saturated sampling technique. The analysistechnique used is quantitative and descriptive analysis using validity, reliability test, crosstabulation, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple and multipleregression analysis, as well as the significance test (t test and F test) with SPSS version 16.0for windows.The results and discussion, based on the categorization of leadership in company wasquite good, the work of each employee motivation was high, discipline of employee was highcategorization, and the performance of the employee at the company was quite well.Partially, leadership had positive and significant effect on performance of the employee, therelationship between the two variables was average with a correlation of (0.542), thecoefficient of determination of (28.2%), motivation had positive and significant effect on theperformance of regression coefficient, the relation between the two variables was high with acorrelation of ( 0.762), the coefficient of determination of (57.3%), working discipline hadpositive and significant effect on the performance of the regression coefficient, the relationbetween the two variables was high with a correlation of (0.760), the coefficient ofdetermination of (57%). Simultaneously leadership, motivation and working discipline hadpositive and significant effect on the performance of the regression coefficient Y = 1,877+0,124X1 + 0,410X2 + 0,372X3, the relationship of independent variables (X) and dependent(Y) was very strong with a correlation of (0.863), the coefficient of determination of (68.3%).The conclusion there was positive and significant influence between leadership,motivation, and working discipline on performance of the employee. The suggestion was thecompany need to pay attention to communication between leaders and employees in how toapproach, provide guidance and error correcting any work performed by employees, as wellas effort to improve employee work motivation by giving rewards and give a sanction againstemployees who violate the discipline of time (delay) firmly.

Abstract

Goal of companies is become the market leader of their products. To achieve it, companies have to increase their sales volume. As Toyota brand holder in Central Java and DIY, PT. New Ratna Motor always tries to lead the market share in all car types, including two-tonnage vehicles (truck) class. Toyota Dyna becomes the favorite of Toyota in this class, which the competition in this class is tighter. Promotion, price, and service are some of important factors which can be related with consumer’s purchase decision of Toyota Dyna and the other brands. This research is aimed to analyze is there any relation between promotion, price, and service to purchase decision of Toyota Dyna. It is continued by analysis of relationship between these three independent variables to purchase decision with business type as moderating variable. This is a quantitative research with 78 respondents as samples of Toyota Dyna users in Central Java and DIY. Questionnaires, interviews, and website are used in collecting data. Determination coefficient and Moderated Regression Analysis are used to analyze data. Result of this research is there are significant relations between promotion, price, and service to purchase decision of Toyota Dyna. Business type variable is not a moderating variable in these relationships. Advice for the company to increase sales in Toyota Dyna is develop better strategies in promotion, price, and service.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the model of this research is acceptable or not. The model of this research is testing the effect of corporate social responsibility and media publicity toward purchase intention of consumer through corporate image as intervening variable. Data collection techniques used in this research was purposive sampling with 100 respondents as data samples. The data analysis was done quantitatively by using WarpPLS 3.0 software. The method analysis used were outer model, inner model, direct effect, indirect effect, Variance Accounted For (VAF) methods, and model of indicates. The result showed that model of this research was acceptable. The direct effect and indirect effect in this research were proven to give an significant effect. According to VAF method showed that the corporate image was included in partial mediation. The output model of indicate showed that the model already fulfill the goodness of fit.

Abstract

Business development and industry that occurred lately felt more stringent and full of competition. This competition eventually forced an effort to receive a situation where they have to innovate by continue to adhere to competition. Eiger as a brand over products outdoor equipment, is trusted brand but the outdoor brand product development providers equipment  is bigger. it has been steadily declining sales especially in Semarang city. This study attempts to affect influence attributes products (X1) and word of mouth (X2) the decision to buy (Y2) through the brand image (Y1) users on brand in products eiger Semarang city. The type used is explanatory. The sample used technique combined purposive sampling and accidental sampling. The measured of scale is using likert scale. In the analysis data using the validity, reliability, a correlation coefficient, regression analysis linear multiple, the determine coefficient , t, f and sobel test by using the SPSS tools. The results show all of variable independent in this study had influence on variables depends, whether partial and simultaneous, while variable attributes products affect the purchase through the brand image mediation perfect happened and variable word-of-mouth affecting the purchase through the brand image mediation partial. For advice, making braver design again, maximize print and electronic to advertise and delivery of services sales more educate, things are useful for more interesting and ensure consumers to products that produced.

Abstract

This research is motivated growing fashion industry, one of fashion products are rising that the veil or hijab. From a business perspective, hijabers phenomenon has great potential in the fashion industry, especially in industrial veils. Manufacturers producing veil one of which was Rabbani who is a garment company and one of the first instant veil companies in Indonesia. Many manufacturers competitors like Zoya, Pashmina, and shasmira are also more aggressively promote its products. Rabbani has decreased the percentage of sales in 2011 to 2014This research aims to determined the effect of the Promotion, Price and Quality Products toward Interest Buy of the consumer of Rabbani’s Veil Dipatiukur Bandung. This type of research is explanatory research, data collection techniques are based interviews questionnaires, cluster sampling technique of sampling and the number of samples 120. Data were analyzed through validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test and F test data were analyzed quantitatively using SPSS.This study showed that promotion, price and product quality effect on consumer buying interest either partially or simultaneously. The quality of products provide greatest influence on the consumer buying interest Dipatiukur veil Rabbani Bandung.The conclusion promotions, price and higher quality products, the higher the purchase interest. Rabbani suggested further enhance the promotion of the use of language which clear and persuasive language, pricing according to segmentation, diversity of models and styles, and products provided should continue to follow the fashion trend.
