Abstract

Yamaha is one of the largest automotive company in Indonesia. In particular, this study reviews how Yamaha attempt to increase sell their product in market that is currently dominated by Honda. This research was based a decrease in sales of Yamaha motorcycles in the period 2010-2011and decrease in sales of Yamaha motorcycles in Yamaha SS Cabang Kedungmundu Semarang in August-December 2011. This sales decline shows a decrease in consumer buying interest on Yamaha motorcycle products. This research is purpose to find out whether the quality of product, price, and advertising appeal affect on consumer willingness to buy in Yamaha motorcycle products and analyzing the most dominant factor influencing consumer’s buying interest on Yamaha motorcycle in Yamaha SS Cabang Kedungundu Semarang. This research it used 100 samples that was taken from to 100 consumer Yamaha SS Cabang Kedungmundu Semarang obtained by using accidental sampling techniques. Then conducted an analysis of data obtained in the form of quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative analysis involves the validity and reliability testing, test classic assumptions, multiple regression analysis, Goodness of Fit test through regression coefficient (R2), F test and t test. Qualitative analysis is an interpretation of the data obtained in this study and the results of data processing is carried out by giving a description and explanation. The data that have met the test of validity, reliability, and test the assumptions of classical processed to produce a regression equation as follows: Y = 0,388 X1 + 0,364 X2 + 0,205 X3 Order individually from each of the most influential variable is the  variable product quality with regression coefficient of  0.388, then price variable with regression coefficient of 0.364. While the variables that  affect the lowest advertising appeal with regression coefficient of 0.205. The model equation has a calculated F value of 32.871 and a significance level of 0,000. Where F count is greater than F table (3.09) and with a smaller significance level of α (0.05). It shows that the independent variables in this research is jointly  influential to the dependent variable is willingness to buy.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the declining number of consumers and some complaints received by the PO Sumber Alam in the period January 2011 - March 2012 which indicated the decline of consumer satisfaction in PO Sumber Alam. By looking at existing problems, this study aimed to analyze the influence of the service quality consisting of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy for their impact on consumer satisfaction and consumer loyalty of PO Sumber Alam. Sample in this study are 100 people passanger on PO Sumber Alam Yogyakarta-Jakarta and the reverse direction. The question is given by using a questionnaire consisting of closed and open questions. Respondents' answers were then analyzed by 2-stage regression using SPSS program for Windows. Based on the analysis conducted, it was concluded that the physical evidence, responsiveness, and empathy has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. While the assurance negative effect on customer satisfaction, and reliability no significant effect on customer satisfaction. Then the customer satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on consumer loyalty. The results of this study is expected to be used as information for PO Sumber Alam and further research.

Abstract

Credit is one way to develop the economic of our country. Commercial bank can get more revenue from interest income from lending. This research aims to analyze influence of variables Third Party of Fund (DPK), Return On Assets (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and Certificate of Bank Indonesia (SBI) toward of amount banking credit. The number of samples in this study are 22 Commercial Bank uses purposive sampling method. It is a method to found sample with various measurement. All the sample are companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for period 2008 to 2011 which apply polled data method and collects data are about 88 data observation. Data analysis that used in this study are multiple regression liniear and assumption classic tests which consist of normality test, multicolieniarity test, autocorrelation test and heterocedasticity test. Hypotesis testing uses F-test and t- test. Based on the result of analysis shows independent variables (Third Party of Fund (DPK), Return On Assets (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and Certificate of Bank Indonesia (SBI)) simultanieously effect Credit of Banking. Whereas partially, Third Party of Fund (DPK) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) have positive and significant impact on Credit of Banking. In Other Hand, Certificate of Bank Indonesia  (SBI) has negative and significant impact on Credit of Banking. At Last, Return On Assets (ROA) and Non Performing Loan (NPL) have positive and insignificant influence to Credit of Banking. The value of adjusted R square is 0,978 and it means independent variables can explain the dependent variable as much as 97,8%, while the remaining amount of 2,2% is influenced by other factors which not included in the model.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the intense competition in the Indonesian automotive industry with the emergence of various new brands in the market especially hatchback car segment. This is impacting (affect) on sales of Hyundai i20 that far a drift than its competitors. This study aimed to test the effect (influence) of quality, price, promotion, brand awareness, brand image, brand personality, and popularity of consumers' purchase decision on the Hyundai i20. After performing study of literature review and developing hipotheses, the data was collected by questionnaire method toward 100 persons Hyundai i20 car users in Semarang, which is obtained by using purposive sampling technique. Data was analyzed by using quantitative and qualitative anlyses. We then performed an analysis of data obtained by quantitative and qualitative data. A quantitative analysis consist of validity and reliability tests, the classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing via t test and F test, and analysis of coefficient of determination (R2). Qualitative analysis is an interpretation of the data collected in this study, and results of data processing that have been implemented with a description and explanation. The results of this research show that a variable quality, price, promotion, brand awareness, brand image, brand personality, and popularity are positive and significant effect of the consumer buying decision variable.

Abstract

On everyone working or in a workgroup, the performance always expected to be always good quality and quantity. To get the result itself must be backed up with goal-setting and to be begun with the rational work planning. Performance goal-setting intention is compiled targets useful not only as guidelines for achieving the objectives, but can also be a means of performance evaluation at the end of the period and to manage the state of postgraduate work during that period. Many factors can affect the performance of employees, such as the discipline of work and organisational culture. The object of this research Pabrik Minyak Kayu Putih (PMKP) in the village of Krai, district Toroh, Grobogan, Purwodadi. Reasons to take an object on Pabrik Minyak Kayu Putih (PMKP) in Purwodadi, because the results of the survey obtained information that the pre a few employees showed inadequate performance, such as late attendance, at the time of the break of the afternoon, return to the office which is supposed to 13.00 till 13.30 even more, or are not in place, although present in the workplace. If the employee could not improve its performance through the discipline of work and organisational culture that is already good, means the performance of employees tends to be low. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of work discipline and organizational culture on performance Pabrik Minyak Kayu Putih  (PMKP) in Purwodadi. Populations and samples in this study are employees of Pabrik Minyak Kayu Putih (PMKP) in Purwodadi that add up to 40 employees. Its data type is primary. Method of data collection using the questionnaire. Analysis technique used is multiple regression. Results of analysis using SPSS Version 13 shows that: (1). work discipline influential positive and  significant to the performance of employees. (2) organizational culture influential  positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine how big the influence of price, quality of product, and location of the purchase decision on the Bandeng Juwana Elrina Semarang. And this research also aims to analyze the most dominant factors that influence on purchase decisions on the Bandeng Juwana Elrina Semarang. The population used in this study is consumers who ever or frequently come on the Bandeng Juwana Elrina Semarang. The sample in this study are 80 respondents and the techniques used are non-probability sampling technique with the approach of accidental sampling (sampling based on chance). Analytical methods used were quantitative analysis of multiple regression analysis. This analysis includes: validity and reliability, the classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing by t test and F test, and analysis of determination coefficient (R2). The location variables have the most impact on purchasing decisions for 0,329, followed by quality of  products variable amounting to 0,323. While the price variables have an influence lowest compared to other variables for 0,242. Hypothesis testing using t tests showing that the three independent variables are price (X1), quality of product (X2), and location (X3) which investigated proved positively and significantly affect the dependent variable is the purchase decision (Y). Then through the F test can be seen that the variables price, quality of product, and location eligible to test the dependent purchasing decisions. Adjusted R Square explained figures that 62,3% of purchase decisions variation can be explained by the three independent variables in multiple regression equations. While the rest of 37,7% was explained by other variables outside of the three variables used in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to give some answer for the problems experienced by Mentari prepaid GSM simcard  with the decreased ranks in top of mind awareness in the public by examining the influence of outdoor media, the popularity of endorser, and creativity of advertising on the effectiveness of advertising in order to foster top of mind this product. Samples in this study are 100 people taken from the college student that use the services of mobile operators with various brands. The case study research conducted in the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University. By using 2-stage regression with SPSS software for windows, obtained a result which indicates that the appeal of outdoor media, the popularity of endorser, and creativity of advertising have a positive and significant influence on the effectiveness of advertising in order to foster top of mind and also showed that the appeal of outdoor media have the greatest influence. Therefore, the implications suggested in this study are Indosat have to further improve the outdoor media advertising in advance so will be got great appeal in the consumer’s attention and then followed by making the creative advertising and choose a popular brand endorser on that time, so a high effective advertising will appeared and top of mind will grow.

Abstract

The services sector, especially health services experienced significant growth and has good prospects. This condition makes the competition become more progressively tight. Every hospital should be able to use a variety of ways in order to attract patients through the quality of service. Society tends to demand fast and better healthcare service. Many hospital are aware of it, so they have to achieve that customer satisfaction in a variety of strategies to retain customers. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of quality of service, price and facilities to the satisfaction of outpatients. This research was based by the number of outpatient‘s complaints are decreased at Kariadi's Hospital, and to know the influence of quality of service, price and facilities to the satisfaction of outpatients at Kariadi’s Hospital. The population in this research were outpatients of Kariadi’s Hospital. The number of samples used in this research are 100 people. Data was collected through questionnaire by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis to determine the influence of the variable quality of services, price and facilities to the satisfaction of outpatients at Kariadi’s Hospital. The analysis showed that the variable quality of service, price and facilities have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction variables, both individually and together. The amount of Adjusted R Square is 0.836. This means that 83.6% variation in customer satisfaction can be explained by the three independent variables of service quality, price, and facilities. While the rest can be explained by other variables outside of the study.

Abstract

This research was conducted to test influence of the Return on Assets, Sales Growth, Structure Assets, Firm Size, and Investment Opportunity measure of firm to financial leverage. This research was compared two sectors of the manufacturing company which had gone public in Indonesian Stock Exchange periode 2008-2011. The intake techinque was purposive sampling methode and the obtained data were 15 manufacturing companies of miscellaneous industry sector and 25 of consumer goods sector. Data analysis using are the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, T test, F test, coefficient of determination, and the last is use of different test (chow test). Result of analysis in this research indicated that in miscellaneous industry companies, retun on assets, structure assets, and investment opportunity were significant. While in consumer goods companies, retun on assets and investment opportunity were accepted. To test for equality of coefficients from miscellaneous industry and consumer goods companies, this research used the different test chow test. Result of chow test showed the value of F calculate more than F table (2.26 >1.53) and this indicated there is difference between the determination of funding decision miscellaneous Industry sector companies and consumer goods sectors.

Abstract

One of the  fundamental analysis that usually used by investors and security analize to value the stock price is by price earning ratio(PER) approach. Price earning ratio shows how much investors are willing to pay per rupiah of companies profit. This research have as a purpose to examine influence factors of debt to equity ratio (DER), return on equity (ROE), dividend payout ratio (DPR), price to book value (PBV), current ratio(CR), firm size to price earning ratio(PER) The samples using 26 companies on manufacturing companies sector. Type of data is secondary data from each manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for four years in 2007, 2008 2009, and 2010. The samples are taken by purposive sampling. Data analysis use multiple regression analysis, method which initial by classical test for normality, multicollinearity test, heteroskedastisitas test and autocorrelation test. Hypothesis test is using the F test and t test Results show that variable return on equity (ROE) have negative and significant effect on price earning ratio, price to book value (PBV) and firm size have a positive and significant effect on price earning ratio manufacturing company share. However variable debt to equity ratio (DER), dividend payout ratio (DPR) and current ratio(CR) have no significant effect on price earning ratio manufacturing companies stock.
