Abstract

This study developes a model with phone network disquality, lack of internet access speed as independent variables and dissatisfaction as intervening variable, then affecting churn intention.The number of samples in this study were 500 respondents. Questionaires were distributed to Indosat’s users from February 2015 until April 2015, using a purposive sampling method. Technical analysis employed AMRA.The results showed that two of the independent variables directly influenced customer disatisfactio and affected churn intention. The highest value variable influencing customer dissatisfaction is the factor lack of internet access speed. Supported by previous studies, customer disatisfaction has positive relation and significantly mediates the effect of independents variables to engage churn intention.

Abstract

One of the tecnique analyze to company performance used  profitability measured by ROA (Return On Asset). Return On Asset showed the effectiveness of company to get profit with asset . This research aimed to analyze the influence of state ownershipmanagerial ownership,, board size, leverage, and growth opportunity to profitability that measured by ROA. This research used control variable of  industry .            The number of sample in this research was 14 companies non-financial  listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2010-2013. The sampling method by using proposive sampling.  Analysis techniques used is Ordinary Least Square Regression (OLS), statistical t-test and classic assumption test that includes a test of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroskedastisitas test, autocorrelation test.            The result showed that state ownership has negative significant association with  profitability.  The  managerial ownership  has  not significant with  profitability.  Board size has not significant with  profitability. Leverage has negative and  significant association  with  profitability , growth opportunity has positive and significant association profitability. Industries as control variable in this research hold the influence to state ownership, managerial ownership, board size, leverage, and growth opportunity with  profitability.

Abstract

There are many things that influence a consumer to do the purchase and actively evaluate and search the possibilities to move from one product and service to another product and service which is expected could fulfill their need.. The aim of this study is to analyze the influences of the price perception, product quality and service quality against to the decision to purchase a motorcycle with trademark of Yamaha Mio which is based on the sales data from the Dealer Yamaha Pemuda Semarang it is mentioned that their superior product of Yamaha Mio had experienced the quite big selling  fluctuation.  The  probabilistic  sampling  had  been  adopted  in  consideration  the  huge numbers of the user of motorcycle with trademark of Yamaha Mio which are impossible to be calculated so 100 samples of respondents had been taken. The gathering of data had been through a questioner which had been based on Likert scale and then the hypothesis test had used the regression analysis. Based on the result of the analysis it could find several conclusions that the value of calculated t of 3,108 with the significant degree (α) of 0.002 had declared that price perception had been proven having the positive influence to the purchase decision, the value of calculated t of 2.731 with the significant degree (α) of 0.008 had declared that product quality had been proven having the positive influence to the purchase decision and the value of calculated t of6.448 with the significant degree (α) of 0.000 had declared that service quality had been proven having the positive influence to the purchase decision. The implication theory of this study is thatthe purchase decision could be seen through the three variables of price perception, productquality and service quality which give the effective value approximately of 44.2%. This study had been focused to the 100 consumers of Yamaha Mio motorcycle at the Yamaha Pemuda Semarang dealer so it has covered the generalization as per the condition at the place or at the institution.

Abstract

The research was conducted regarding to the stagnant condition of brand value survey result of So Klin detergent product for three years continually. Accordingly it is necessary to find out what factors might interfere the loyalty of the consumer of So Klin product. This study aims to determine the effect of brand-awareness, quality perception, and brand association, to consumer loyalty of So Klin detergent product. The research data was collected from 112 consumers of So Klin detergent in Gayamsari Semarang district. Sampling in this study is using the accidental sampling technique. The analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis. Previously it was deal with validity and reliability testing and classical assumption testing. Afterwards it was provided by the hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. Considering to data analyzed, the regression equation is summarized as follows: Y = 0,269X1 + 0,060 X2 + 0,469 X3 + e . Regression analysis showed variable of brand-awareness, brand association and quality perception have a positive influence to the consumer loyalty. The most influential variable was the brand association as 0.469, consider brand-awareness as 0.269. Yet the quality perception has the least influence as 0.060. The analysis result using t test showed that the brand-awareness, the brand association have individually influence to the significant consumer loyalty. The equation model had F value of 27.941 with a significance level as 0,000. The analysis result using the determination coefficient was leveled about 41.9%. The consumer loyalty indicated by the variable of brand-awareness, quality perception, and brand association, whilst 58.1% summarized by other variable which unstated in this research.

Abstract

Currently the hotel business competition is very tight, so that the manager of the hotel should be able to provide the best service so that customers are satisfied. Customer satisfaction is the difference between expectations and perceived performance or services. Hotel Pondok Tingal, Jl. Balaputra Dewa 32, Borobudor, Magelang is a hotel that offers many advantages such as a more modern karaoke (computer use). However, the price offered at the hotel is more expensive than in other places, so the impact on the Pondok Tingal visitors in recent years. Based on the data, the Pondok Tingal visitors in 2013 decreased on average 4 person/month with a tendency in the past 4 months has decreased. A decrease is caused by many factors, one of which is a low customer satisfaction. In this study the factors that affect customer satisfaction is analyzed through service quality, price and facility. The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of service quality, price and facilities on customer satisfaction Hotel Pondok Tingal in MagelangThe population in this study is the customer Hotel Pondok Tingal, Jl . Balaputra Dewa 32, Borobudor, in Magelang. The sample in this study was 100 customers. The sampling technique in this study conducted by purposive sampling technique. Data type is primary. Abstract

Herding Behavior is the tendency of institutional or individual investors to behave similar.  This behavior is irrational because investors do not depend  their investment decisions on information available but follow the crowd. Distinguishing the causes of herding behavior is crucial for discovering whether herding leads to market inefficiency and financial bubbles. Herding may destabilize stock prices and thus impair the proper functioning of financial market. This study is analyzing the effect of size, trading volume activity, return and volatility to herding behavior in 2009 to 2014 period. Herding behavior will be measured based on the types of investors in Indonesian capital market. Then analysis of the effect of size, trading volume activity, return and volatility to herding behavior will be conducted using multinomial logistic regression method. The result of this study shows that size gives positive effect to all types of investors in herding behavior. TVA gives positif effect on four types of investors while eight other types investors have negatife effects for herding behavior. Return does not give  effect to all types of investors while volatility give positive effect on all types investor except domestic investors institution and  foreign institution investor for herding behavior. Size and volatility have the most impact for investor in herding.

Abstract

Logistics so far  is the science which should be able to special attention. Because good logistics  will support a business performance of the effectiveness and efficiency. This study aims to analyze the influence of suppliers logistics performance to business performance, case studies at AHASS workshop in Semarang. Suppliers Logistics performance in this research represented by transportation , distribution center location , and inventory variable.  the results of the analysis shows that the transportation and inventory have a positive and significant influence to business performance.While the distribution center location  have not  significant influence to business performance.

Abstract

Solvability takes a big role in an insurance company’s life, they have to make sure that it’s always in a certain minimum condition. Discovering the influennce of Total Claim Paid, Profitability, Underwriting Risk, and Reinsurance to The Solvability of Insurance Companies is the purpose of this research. ROA (Return on Assets) is used as the proxy of profitability and RBC (Risk Based Capital) is used on solvability. Go Public Insurance Companies that listed on BEI are the companies that used as the objects of this research.There are ten insurance companies listed on BEI that can be used as the population of this research, which then processed through purposive sampling to determine the sample by applying some criterias until finally resulted with nine companies as the sample, this research work on the period of 2008-2013, so it will got fifty four data as the observation points. The data that used on this research was secondary data that collected from financial reports of the companies and InfoBank Research Company. The method used in this research was multiple regression analysis, including assumption classic test and used hypothesis test starting F-statistic, T-statistic and then determination of coefficients (R2).The results showed that Total Claim Paid and Underwriting Risk have a positive  significant influence on Solvability, ROA doesn’t have significant influence on Solvability, and then Reinsurance has a negative significant influence on Solvability. Abstract

This study is performed to examine the effect of leverage, Current Ratio (CR), Working Capital Turnover (WCT), and growth toward Return On Asset (ROA) in consumer goods industry that is listed in BEI. The objective of this study is to analyze the effect of the company financial ratios performance leverage, Current Ratio (CR), Working Capital Turnover (WCT), and growth toward Return On Asset (ROA) in consumer goods industry that is listed in BEI over period 2009-2013.Purposive sampling is used on this research with criterion the company that represents their financial report oever period 2009-2013. The data is obtained based on Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) dan Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) publication. Sample of this research amount of 29 companies from 38 consumer goods indutry those are listed in BEI. Multiple regression and hypothesis test using t-statistic and f-statistic. In addition, classical assumption test also performed including normality test, multicolinearity test, autocorrelation test ,and heteroscedasticity test.This research results that leverage has significantly negative effect on Return On Asset (ROA), Current Ratio (CR) and growth are not significant to Return On Asset (ROA), and Working capital Turnover (WCT) has significant positive effect on Return On Asset (ROA). We suggest for consumer goods industry in order to give more attention to assets, liabilities, and working capital. On this research, Working Capital Turnover shows influencing variable toward Return On Asset (ROA) that pointed by the amount of beta standardized coefficients value 0.386, growth are 0.033, Current Ratio (CR) are -0.012, and leverage are -0,470.

Abstract

In 2014 SAKINAH magazine produced by PT. Temprina Media Graphic damage to exceed the standard limit of the company. Standards set by the company was 0.25%. This study aimed to analyze the factors that cause damage to the product in the process of printing products at PT. Temprina Media Graphic Semarang. The data used are primary and secondary data. Samples were examined by 100 respondents. The number of variables examined in this study were 20 variables. The data were then analyzed using factor analysis in SPSS 16.0 for Windows.            The results showed that of the 20 variables had been reduced and no variables excluded from the model because it has met the criteria MSA> 0.5. From the test results obtained by factor analysis of 20 variables that persist in the model and breaks into 6 factors, are all factors that influence the breakdown products in product printing processes. These factors are factors Continuity Engines Work with eigenvalues 6446 values, factors Readiness Control Method / System Working with eigenvalues values 1831, Readiness Materials and Work Order with eigen value 1,621 values, process control factors with eigenvalues 1266 values, factors Work Discipline with eigenvalues values 1169, and Supervisor Support factors with eigenvalues 1,011 values. 6th factor is obtained based on the value of eigen values greater than one. Dominating factor is the factor that has a Sustainability Working Machines values eigenvalues of 6446 with a percentage of 32 230% variance.            Factors such form, then performed the analysis using method Fishbone Diagram to determine the causal factors in the chart, so that the company can take preventive and corrective measures to reduce the level of damage and improve product quality.
