Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence between time management, study motivation,  self actualization and student’s academic achievement who have part time job. The data in this research was collected through questionnaire distributed to 89 respondents, which are undergraduate students from Management Bachelor Degree in Diponegoro University. The techniques to testing data is multiple linear regression analysis. Results indicates that time management, study motivation, and self actualization give positive influence to academic achievement of undergraduate students in Management Bachelor Degree in Diponegoro University who have part time job. Those variables also give 67% contribution to the variety of  student’s academic achievement who have part time job.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the influence of the size, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return On Assets (ROA), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and inflation toward Loan to Deposit Ratio (ROA).The  population  of  this  research  is  the  conventional  commercial  bank  listed  on  the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2010 through 2014. Purposive sampling method were used as samples determining method and 21 banks selected as the sample of this research. Analysis Method with multilinier regression of ordinary least square and hypotheses test used t-statistic and F-statistic at level significance 5%, a classic assumption examination which consist of normality test, multicolinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test is also being done to test the hypothese.The results of the research simultantly using F test, showed that size, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR),  Return On Assets  (ROA),  Non  Performing  Loan  (NPL),  and  inflation  variables influence significantly toward Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR). Partially varibles using t test, showed size is not significant negative influence on the LDR with a significance level of 0,705 > 0,050, CAR is not significant positive influence on the LDR with a significance level of 0,801 > 0,050, ROA is not significant positive influence on the LDR with a significance level of 0,973 > 0,050, NPL is significance negative influence on the LDR with a significance level of 0,017 < 0,050, and inflation is significant positive influence on the LDR with a significance level of 0,009 < 0,050. The coefficient determinant (r square) is 0,238 which means 23,8% LDR variation explained by size, CAR, ROA, NPL, and inflation, whereas  76,2% explained by another variables which was not to be entered in the research model.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to examine the direct effect and indirect effect of Total Asset Turnover, Working Capital Turnover, Debt to Equity Ratio on Firm Value with Return On Asset as an intervening variable.This research sample is manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2009-2013 by using purposive sampling method. There are 64 manufacturing companies selected as sample. The method of analysis used is Path Analysis, the development of multiple linear regression.Using multiple regression analysis, it is known that TATO has positive significant effect on ROA. WCTO and DER has negative significant effect on ROA. TATO has positive not significant effect on Firm Value. WCTO has negative significant effect on Firm Value. DER and ROA has positive significant effect on Firm Value. The result of path analysis showed that TATO influence Firm Value through ROA. Besides, it was found that the value of the adjusted R square for the equation ROA is 25,3% while the value of the adjusted R square for the equation PBV is 39,7%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of service quality, brand image, trust and perception of price on purchase decisions. .The population in this study is a consumer transaction at the workshop "Sinar Baru", Jl. A. Yani 14, Jepara, Central Java. The sample in this study was 100 consumers. The sampling technique in this study was done by using purposive sampling. Is the primary data type. Methods of data collection using the questionnaire. The analysis technique used is multiple regression with previously tested with instruments and classical assumption. The results using multiple regression analysis showed that : Service quality influence on purchase decisions. Brand image influence on purchase decisions. Trust influence on e purchase decisions. Perception of Price influence the purchase decisions

Abstract

This study was conducted at online store called Shopastelle, which is located in Semarang. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of product quality, quality of service, price and customer satisfaction as well as the impact on repurchase intention.The population used in this study are customers who've bought the Shopastelle product. By testing the 100 respondents, this study uses five variables, 22 indicators and four hypotheses. Methods of data analysis used in this study the methods of quantitative analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the product quality has a positive influence on customer satisfaction; quality of service has a positive influence on customer satisfaction; product diversity has a positive influence on customer satisfaction; and customer satisfaction has a positive influence on repurchase intention.

Abstract

This Research aims to analyze the influence of Return on Assets Previous Year (𝑅𝑂𝐴𝑡−1), Non  Performing Loan (NPL),  Cash  Ratio,  Loan to Deposit Ratio  (LDR),  Bank  Size,  Deposit Mobilization and Bank Age to financial sustainability as measured by the Financial Sustainability Ratio (FSR). Case Study on Rural Banks (BPR) in Central Java during the period 2010-2014.The population of the research is rural banks (BPR) in Central Java during the period 2010-2014. 45 samples were taken by using purposive sampling method. The data used were obtained from the annual report of Rural Banks during 2010-2014. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, statistical F-test, ststistical t-test, and classical assumption test that includes normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test.The results shows that the Return on Assets Previous Year (𝑅𝑂𝐴𝑡−1) has  positive and significant  effect  to  Financial  Sustainability,  Non  Performing  Loan  (NPL)  has  negative  and significant effect to Financial Sustainability, Cash Ratio has negative and significant effect to Financial Sustainability, Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) has positive and not significant effect toFinancial Sustainability, the Bank Size has positive and significant effect to Financial Sustainability, the Deposit Mobilization and Bank Age has negative and not significant to Financial Sustainability. The results of regression estimation shows the predictive ability of the model is 42.8%, while the remaining 57.2% is influenced by other factors outside the model.

Abstract

The dominant role of banks in Indonesia makes bank should have a healthy financial performance. A way to maintain good financial performance by analyzing the level of efficiency so it can be seen how banks are efficient, healthy and able to survive in any economic conditions.            The purpose of this research is to analyze the efficiency level of state-owned banks and foreign banks in Indonesia in period between 2010-2014 based on three approaches; operational approach, intermediation approach and asset approach. The analytical method used are Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) using production function and Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA). SFA method used to measure efficiency level and the result appears in numeric score 0-1 form. The closer the result with score 1 so the banks getting closer with the perfect efficiency level. One Way ANOVA is used to find out the difference of  state-owned bank and foreign bank efficiency level in every approaches.            This research shows the results that efficiency level of state-owned banks and foreign banks in Indonesia is increasing in every period between 2010-2014 using operational approach, intermediation approach and asset approach. At operational approach, the average efficiency on state-owned banks are 0,97677198 and foreign banks are 0,78301436.  At intermediation approach, the average efficiency on state-owned banks are 0,98241996 and foreign banks are 0,42062963.  At asset approach, the average efficiency on state-owned banks are 0,322442 and foreign banks are 0,22159316. The results of hypothesis testing shows that there is significance difference in efficiency level  of atate-owned banks and foreign banks based on operational approach, intermediation approach and asset approach. Both state-owned banks and foreign banks have to increase the efficiency level on asset approach because it has the lowest values.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the USD/AUD, interest rates, WTI oil prices, AORD index and NYMEX gold prices on stock returns  of mining and resources in Australian capital market. Based on research defined by Nordin brothers and Ismail (2014) and supported by Rostamy, Hosseini and Bakhshitakanlou (2013) these factors are leading indicators that affect stock returns of mining and resources.This research is using non-random sampilng method  for macroeconomic data in Australia, and it is analyzed with regression. Variable USD/AUD, interest rates, oil prices, AORD index and gold prices are partially and simultaniously analyzed regarding effect to the stock returns of mining and resources in Australian capital market.The results showed that in Australian capital market, the USD/AUD do not have effect with stock returns of mining and resources, interest rates do not have effect with stock returns of mining and it has negative effect with stock returns of resources, other variabels such as oil prices, AORD index and gold price have positive effect with stock returns of mining and resources. The results of this study, referred to the previous literature prove that the leading indicator of macroeconomic influence to cyclical stocks such as stock returns of mining and resources.

Abstract

Creative industries are increasing in Indonesia, one of which is clothing, through the creative industry developed so that the current clothing apparel is not just a mere basic needs but also a lifestyle, through the clothes they wore one can show his true identity and appear more confident. One trend clothing that is currently happening a lot is clothes which sold in distro or distribution outlet where a lot of brands are popping up with a fresh concept and its market share on average are youngster.            The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand image, product quality, product design, and the perception of prices on consumer buying interest. The population in this study are all the people who buy the products of Vicious Colony in Werehouse Store, Banjarmasin. The sample in this study was 100 people who buy the products of Vicious Colony in Werehouse Store, Banjarmasin taken by purposive sampling. Data collection is done by using a questionnaire.            t test results prove that all independent variables (brand image, product quality, product design, and price perception) have a positive effect on the dependent variable consumer buying interest of Vicious Colony product in Werehouse Store, Banjarmasin. According to the consumer, the four variables considered important when buying a product of Vicious Colony in Werehouse Store, Banjarmasin. And of the coefficient of determination (adjusted ) obtained at 0,788. This means that 78.8% of buying interest from Vicious Colony product in Werehouse Store, Banjarmasin can be explained by the variable of brand image, product quality, product design, and price perception, while the remaining 21.2% of buying interest are influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of demographic factors, namely, gender, age, and education level on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) by using gender, age, and level of education as the independent variables and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The study was conducted to follow up the difference in the results of the earlier study.  The research is important because OCB creates prosocial and constructive behavior that beneficial for the organization. OCB could be measured using Organizational Citizenship Behavior Checklist (OCB-C) that designed to measure the OCB scores of employee.
