Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is a behavior that needs to be owne d b y c ivil servants. Many ways can be done to improve the Organizational Citizenship Behavior ( O C B) o ne with a financial compensation. Financial compensation were able to improve work discip line a nd motivation  of achievement,  so it can affect the Organizational  Citizenship  Behavior (OCB) employees. The purpose of this study is to describe and analy ze further on the influence of financial compensation on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) with the discipline of work and achievement motivation as an intervening variable.Data  collection  methods  used  in  this study is a questionnaire  with a  sample of 74 employees BNNP Jawa Tengah, which uses a sample of the entire population census or using BNNP Jawa Tengah employees. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression ana lys is . Mechanical testing data used in this study include path analysis and sobel test to test th e e f fec t o f mediation.The results of this study indicate that financial compensation negative a n d s ig nific ant to work discipline and a positive and significant to motivation of achiev eme n t. Th en th e f ina nc ial compensation and work discipline positive and significant impact on Organizationa l C itiz e ns hip Behavior (OCB), while the achievement motivation did not significantly affect to O r ga niz atio nal Citizenship Behavior (OCB). In addition, work discipline and motivation of achiev e me nt c a n n ot mediate the relationship between financial compensation on Organizational Citizenship Be ha vio r (OCB).

Abstract

This study is aim to analize the influence of physical work environment, non physical work environment, stress on performance on employee performance in PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasional IV Semarang. This study is applied toward 64 employees in PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasional IV Semarang. Sampling techniques in this study using purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used in this study include validity, reliability, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test, and the coefficient of determination. The result of this study indicates: 1) physical work environment has does not significantly impact to the employee performance, 2) non physical environment has positive and significant impact to the employee performance, 3) stress on performance has not significantly impact to the employee performance.

Abstract

Share  prices  on  stock  exchange  is  something  that  is  of  concern/signall  to  investor.  With  aPrice/Earning Ratio method, stock price reflected against of overall profit in listed companies. This research wants to examine the effects of Return on Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Current Ratio (CR) against Price/Earning Ratio of consumer goods company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2012-2015.Data in this research used a sample of 24 consumer goods companies, with year observation period 2012 to 2015. The sample selection is done by purposive sampling method.The result of this research shows the result of regression analysis, found that partially Retun on Equity, have a positive significant to Price/Earning Ratio of Consumer Goods company. Current Ratio variable , have a negative significant to Price Earning Ratio of Consumer Goods company. While Debt to Equity Ratio doesn’t have influence to Price/Earning Ratio of Consumer Goods company. The three variable that used in this research Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), dan Current Ratio (CR) simoultaneously have an influence to Price Earning Ratio of Consumer Goods company. The predictive capability of the three variable simoultaneously amounted 18,2%.

Abstract

The research problem is the number of complaints in Transjakarta passengers on service quality does not go get a solution, although the busway has been operating for 12 years. Proven still found some bus and bus facilities are uncomfortable as well as facilities such as the strip is not sterile and damaged separator, which impact on decreasing the number of Transjakarta bus passengers in 2012 and 2014. This phenomenon is a manifestation of lack of user satisfaction Transjakarta during which felt that quality of services provided Transjakarta management has not been able to meet public expectations.This study aims to 1) examine empirically and analyze the quality of core services to customer satisfaction; 2) empirically examine and analyze the impact of service quality peripherals to customer satisfaction; and 3) examine empirically and analyze the effect of customer satisfaction on interest reference. The population in this study are all service users Transjakarta bus corridor 1 that a minimum of once using Transjakarta bus corridor I 10 times. The sample used as many as 300 people, who divided the morning 100 passengers, 100 passengers during the day and 100  passenger afternoon.The results using SPSS shows; 1) the quality of core services direct positive impact on consumer satisfaction Transjakarta users of transport services (Y1). It provides direction that the H1 can be accepted; 2) the quality of core services direct positive effect on the interests of consumers referencing Transjakarta users of transport services. It provides direction that H2 is acceptable; 3) quality of service peripheral direct positive impact on consumer satisfaction Transjakarta users of transport services. It provides direction that the H3 is acceptable; 4) quality of service peripherals (X2) has positive effect directly against the interests of consumers referencing Transjakarta users of transport services. It provides direction that H4 is acceptable; 5) customer satisfaction has positive influence on consumer reference interest Transjakarta users of transport services. It provides direction that H5 is acceptable; 6) the quality of core services referenced positive influence on consumer interest Transjakarta users of transport services through customer satisfaction. It provides direction that H6 is unacceptable, so the variable customer satisfaction serves as an intervening variable; 7) quality of service peripheral positive effect on consumer reference interest Transjakarta users of transport services through customer satisfaction. It provides direction that H7 can be received, so that variable customer satisfaction serves as an intervening variable.

Abstract

This Research  aimed  to analyze  the influence  of  Corporate  Tax,  Leverage  Effect,  Risky Debt, Multiactivity  Firm and   Degree Of Operating  Leverage  to Systematic  Risk. Case study on non-financial  company  in  KOMPAS100   during  the  period  2010-  2015.  By  using purposive sampling  method  obtained  a  sample  of  22  companies. Company  data  used  in  this  study  was obtained from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory for 2010-2015 and www.bloomberg.com. The analysis technique used is Ordinary Least Squares Regression (OLS). The results showed only a Corporate Tax which has positive and not significant against Systematic Risk.   Leverage Effect, Risky Debt and Multiactivity Firm which has positive and significant against Systematic Risk, while DOL does not affect the Market Value Added.

Abstract

The purpose of the this research is to find  the effect of work environment and leadership towards employee performance through the work discipline. Good level of employee performance and the low level of absenteeism indicates good discipline at Patra Jasa Convention Hotel Semarang. The respondents of this research are  employees of Patra Jasa Convention Hotel Semarang. Data collected through distribution of questionnaires towards 107 permanent employees with purposive sampling. However, only 105 data  can be processed. The techniques of data testing in this research includes validity test by factor analysis, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, path analysis, and the Sobel test to examine the mediation effect with SPSS 16.0.The results of this research indicates that work environment and leadership have positive influence on the discipline of work and employee performance. The analysis also shows that there is a mediation effect of work discipline on employee performance

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Size, Return On Asset (ROA), Financing to Deposits Ratio (FDR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), and Operating Expenses Operating Income (BOPO) to Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). Case study on Indonesian Islamic banks in 2010-2014.The number of sample used in this research were 11 banks. Secondary data were obtained from financial statements can be downloaded from the official website of each bank and the official website of Bank Indonesia covering the period of 2010 until the end of 2014. The analytical method used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis where previously performed classical assumption that includes Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Autocorellation Test, and Heteroskedastisitas Test with a significance level of 5%. The study found that Financing to Deposits Ratio (FDR) is positively significant influenced to Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). Meanwhile, Size and Non Performing Financing (NPF) are significant but negatively influenced to the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). On the other hand, Return On Assets (ROA) and Operating Expenses Operating Income (BOPO) have no significant effect on capital adequacy of Indonesian Islamic bank. Based on the coefficient determination, variable Size, Return On Asset (ROA), Financing to Deposits Ratio (FDR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), and Operating Expenses Operating Income (BOPO) have 64,3% effect against Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). While the remaining 35,7% is influenced by other variables that are not used in this study.

Abstract

The study about Just in time in association with firm performance has applied in many researches. But, the research that associate Just in time with operating performance and firm performance in service firms was relative rare. The study was aimed to analyze how Just in time Implementation by bank especially in credit process could affect to operating performance and firm performance. Sample of the research is credit analyst in several Cash Office of Bank BRI in Tembalang Semarang. The sample size collected is 42 officers. Instrument of questionnaire is used to collect the data of the research. Multiple regression analysis is applied to prove the hypotheses. Result of the analysis shows that Just in time has positive effect on operating performance. Operating performance also has positive effect on firm performance, and Just in time has positive effect on firm performance.

Abstract

Foreign exchange risk is one of the biggest risks facing the company in its activities in international trade. Changes in foreign currency exchange rates may result in losses to the company. Therefore, companies must anticipate doing risk management one of which is through hedging policy. This study aimed to analyze the effect of liquidity, managerial ownership, dividend policy, leverage, cash flow volatility, growth opportunity and control variables company size on the derivative instruments hedging policy on non-financial companies listed on the Stock Exchange 2012-2014.This study using purposive sampling method in order to obtain a total of 27 sample companies. This study used logistic regression analysis to determine the variables that affect the use of derivative instruments as hedging policy tool. Tests using logistic regression analysis only Overall Model Fit Test, Cox and Snell's R Square and Nagelkerke's R Square, Hosmer and Lemeshow Goodness of Fit Test, Classification Table and logistic regression analysis, so it does not require normality test.The results showed empirical evidence there are two variables that significantly influence the policy of hedging derivative instruments. Variable liquidity and volatility of cash flow positive and significant effect and in accordance with the predicted against the policy of hedging with derivatives insturmen. As for the other independent variables that significantly affect dividend policy does not however have the effect as predicted direction. In variable managerial ownership, leverage and growth opportunity not show direction as predicted. Control variables firm size did not show significant results on the dependent variable.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of the perceived presence of fun at work toward organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with job satisfaction and work engagement as intervening variable. This study using samples from employers of PT Djarum in Kudus. Samples taken by are 125 respondents using Non-Probability Sampling technique where not all members of tthe population in the same position have the opportunity to be selected into the sample.  The analyzed data comes from distributed questionnaires to employees, then its analzed using confirmatory  factor  analysis  and  regression  weight  with  AMOS  22.The  result  of  Structural Equation Model analysis indicated that fun at work have direct and indirect impact on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Implication and suggestion for further research also discussed.
