Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the value of banking efficiency in both domestic and foreign banks in Indonesia over a period of five years, 2013-2017. Efficiency is a parameter that can be used as a basis for measuring the performance of a bank. Combining banking efficiency can use traditional methods and border methods.This study uses counting parameters to calculate banking efficiency with the stochastic frontier analysis (SFA) method. The SFA method, presented in the form of a percentage, is increasingly valued at 100% choosing banks that make them more efficient and healthy. By knowing the results of bank efficiency values, it is hoped that banks can improve their supervisory strategies and make certain policy decisions. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, obtained as many as 15 sample companies, namely 11 groups of domestic banks and 4 foreign banks. Research conducted during the five years of research, namely 2013-2017.The results of calculations with the Stochastic Border Analysis model, the efficiency figures that appear almost entirely completed 100%. This shows a high level of efficiency carried out by Domestic Banks and Foreign Banks. The highest efficiency at the Domestic Bank was generated by PT Bank Mandiri Persero Tbk in 2017 with an efficiency value of 94.64%, and Foreign Banks generated by Standard Chartered PLC in 2017 with an efficiency value of 93.87%

Abstract

Tourism has become a promising business sector in developments in various circumstances. Each step with a dynamic routine so that the development of tourism business follows the harmony of patterns and lifestyles. Holidays become a necessity for every individual when routines become more solid and dynamic. A useful opportunity for business people to develop the tourism sector. This opportunity makes the company must be able to survive and develop in determining the right strategies and business decisions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the service environment, the value of experience, and self-brand connections to consumer satisfaction in Semarang Tourism Lawang Sewu.This study uses a non-probability sampling technique as a sampling technique and purposive sampling method with the criteria of respondents being visitors to Lawang Sewu. The responses of 145 respondents were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis tool, and the AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure) estimation tool. The results of the study show that servicescape, experiential value, and self-brand connection have a significant and positive effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the barrier of cross-cultural adjustment ability of expatriates in Indonesia, with demographic factors such as gender and age.This study uses a qualitative method by collecting data with interview to get deeper information about the cross-cultural adjustment process of expatriate while in Indonesia. The participant used in the form of female respondents with Japanese citizenship who have spent 10 years in Indonesia, and applying Milton J. Bennett's Theory of Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity.The results of this study indicate that some of the barriers to the cross cultural adjustment process are the use of language at an early stage, the level of privacy at the time of socialization, and also the time management of Indonesian people.

Abstract

The rapid technology development makes people to continue innovating in facilitating work. Companies are competing to improve their systems in marketing products to consumers to get maximum incomes by creating a practical systems for consumers to access information about their products, one of them is Shopee Indonesia through their products application or can be called branded apps. Shopee Indonesia app is designed to provide product information and easy access for consumers to buy the products, also facilitate communication between consumers and producers. Researcher aimed people who live in Java, have Shopee Indonesia application in their smartphone, and once purchased from the app to be this research’s sample. The number of samples used in this study are 101 respondents. The method of collecting data through questionnaire and the method of collecting samples is by non probability sampling technique. This study uses Multiple Linear Regression analysis technique estimated by SPSS 20.0. The results of this study indicate that brand attachment, brand identification, and perceived value have a positive and significant effect on continuance intention to use branded apps.
