This study aimed to analyze and examine the effect of compensation on employee job satisfaction through work motivation as an intervening variable for Goodfellas Barbershop (Barberman) employees. This study uses quantitative methods, and the sampling technique used in this study is saturated sampling with 30 respondents as employees of Goodfellas barbershop. Data collection using observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Statistical analysis in this study used Partial Least Squares (PLS) with smartPLS 3.0 software application. The results of this study explain that all hypotheses in this study have a positive and significant effect. However, the study's results indicate that compensation on job satisfaction has a more significant direct impact than the indirect effect through work motivation as a mediating variable. This research can help companies with problems with some employees who are not satisfied with the promotion system for their coworkers. Leads to higher career advancement scores in decent work motivation. The researcher advises the leadership to pay comprehensive attention to employee compensation and motivation so that it can increase the drive for a higher career, monthly evaluations so that barbermans can express their opinions and feelings at work which are useful for helping barbermans to work comfortably, and make regulations regarding the promotion system based on ability or results that generally meet the service requirements set by the company.

Financial distress is a situation that occurs when a company have unhealthy financial conditions. If this condition occurs sustainably, it will impact the company's bankruptcy. This research aims to determine the effect of corporate governance, operating capacity, leverage, liquidity, and firm size. The independent variables in corporate governance include institutional ownership, managerial ownership, and an independent board of commissioners. This research's population are companies in the miscellaneous industry sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2020. The sample retrieval technique uses purposive sampling and obtained 15 companies as samples in this research. The data were analysed using logistic regression and calculated with IBM SPSS 25. The result showed that an independent board of commissioners significantly and negatively impacted financial distress. Leverage (debt to assets ratio) and firm size significantly and positively affected financial distress. While institutional ownership, managerial ownership, operating capacity (total assets turnover), and liquidity (current ratio) don't significantly impact financial distress. Therefore, companies in the miscellaneous industry sectors can give more attention to the role of institutional and managerial ownership to avoid financial distress.

Population growth is a factor that can affect economic growth, where increasing people's purchasing power results in consumptive behaviour because the development of the times and technology in the current era of globalization brings changes and progress in all things. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, locus of control, income, and hedonism lifestyle on the financial management behaviour of the Z generation in East Java. This quantitative conclusive causality research and data analysis technique use multiple linear regression. The sample number was 422 respondents using quota sampling, data obtained by distributing an online questionnaire. The findings show that there is an influence of financial literacy, locus of control, and hedonism lifestyle on financial management behaviour. Still, there is no influence of income on financial management behaviour. This study implies that by understanding the factors that influence financial management, the community, especially the Z generation, is expected to improve their financial management behaviour to achieve financial welfare.

This study aims to analyze and examine the effect of the non-physical work environment on job satisfaction through work motivation. The type of research is explanatory research using a quantitative approach. The number of samples is 53 employees of the manufacturing company. The data is collected using a questionnaire. The measurement scale used in this study is a Likert scale—data analysis technique using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and processed using SmartPLS 3.0 software. This study indicates: that there is a positive and significant influence between the non-physical work environment on employee job satisfaction; there is a positive and significant influence between the non-physical work environment on work motivation; there is a positive and significant influence between work motivation on employee job satisfaction. This research has implications for manufacturing companies, especially regarding the non-physical work environment, motivation, and employee job satisfaction. Companies must maintain and improve the non-physical work environment and work motivation in the company, thereby creating and influencing the increase in employee job satisfaction.

Employees with excessive workloads can cause job stress, impacting their psychological well-being. Social support is needed to improve the quality of employees' psychological well-being. This study aimed to analyze the impact of job stress on psychological well-being through the social support of employees. This type of research is quantitative, where all employees are the sample. Data collection uses a questionnaire with 45 employees as a population, but the questionnaire returned as many as 40 responses. Data on this research were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.7.7 software. The results showed that job stress negatively and significantly affects psychological well-being and social support. Social support has a positive and significant impact on psychological well-being. Social support mediates job stress on psychological well-being. This research implies that employees have moderate job stress levels but high psychological well-being mediated by social support. Hence, companies need to be mindful of the job stress employees experience to maintain their psychological well-being.

This research aims to analyze the effect of incentives and motivation on government employees performance. This research uses the quantitative method. The sample in this research used 59 government employees of the regional civil service agency Kabupaten Sidoarjo. This research used statistical analysis consists of validity and reliability test, classical assumption test, and multiple linear tests. The data is running by SPSS software version 20. The result of this research are incentives has a positive effect on government employee performance, but it is not significant. The result also show that motivation positively and significant on government employees performance. Afterwards, the test result also prove that incentives and motivation simultaneously have a positive effect on the performance of government employees. In this case, may the regional civil service agency use incentives to increase motivation among the employee or regional civil service agency does further research on why incentives do not have a significant effect on government employee performance.

A comfortable and supportive work environment at the company needs to be maintained because a suitable compensation and supportive work environment will create good job satisfaction and increase employee productivity to reach the company goal. This research aims to study the effect of Compensation and Work Environment on employees' job satisfaction. This study uses data analysis techniques and multiple linear regression analysis SPSS version 25 software program. Data were obtained from the distribution of questionnaires with uses sample amount of 60 employees. The statistical test result of this study explains that compensation hasn't a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The work environment has a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Simultaneously, the compensation and work environment positively and significantly affect employee job satisfaction. The result shows that the company should give more attention to the compensation given to their employees and more attention to providing a fair compensation system for their needs and achievements.

There are so many researches talks about marketing, especially about loyalty. But only a view of them raises the topic of loyalty in the music industry so that many things can be disseminated in the music industry, including musicians. Flexibility in listening to music through digital music platforms is among many ways to spread loyalty among listeners towards musicians. One of the musicians who get the loyalty of their music listeners in a large number and relatively short time is The Panturas. This study discusses things that might affect the occurrence of those phenomena using quantitative methods, especially the causal relationship of value congruity and psychological ownership to the loyalty of The Panturas' listeners with consumer engagement on their official Twitter account as a mediating variable. The sample collection technique used is non-probability sampling with a total sample of 200 respondents from The Panturas' music listeners. All the respondents were filtered through screening questions where they must meet the criteria as listeners of The Panturas's music who follow and have interacted in the form of comments, quote tweets, direct messages, or mentions on The Panturas' official Twitter account. This study uses data analysis techniques named path analysis which contains hypothesis testing, model analysis, and Sobel test to determine the role of mediating variable. The results of this study indicate that all hypotheses are accepted. Still, the mediating variable studied, consumer engagement, doesn't play its role as a mediator of the relationship between value congruity and psychological ownership with loyalty.

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence of the effect of liquidity ratios, solvency, and profitability on stock prices. The liquidity ratio is measured using the Current Ratio (CR), the solvency ratio is measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), the profitability ratio is measured using the Return on Equity (ROE). The sampling method is purposive sampling. The sample includes 10 companies in the food and beverage sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2016 to 2020. The hypothesis in this study was tested using multiple linear regression analysis model with Eviews12 software. The results of this study prove that simultaneously CR, DER and ROE affect the stock prices of food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2020 period. Partially CR and ROE have an effect on stock prices and DER have no effect on stock prices for banking companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2020 period. Based on the results of the regression analysis, it can be seen that the variables that have a significant influence on stock prices of the food and beverage sub-sector are Current Ratio and Return on Equity variables. That means, the variable in this study becomes a variable that can be used as a reference for investors in determining investment strategies.

This research aims to analyze the level of financial literacy of students of the Economic and Business Faculty. This research was designed as quantitative descriptive research. This research used a financial literacy test questionnaire to collect responses through purposive sampling. The result shows that the average financial literacy of students is in the high financial literacy category. Based on the outcome, students' financial literacy is influenced by parents' education. There is no significant influence of age and gender on students' financial literacy levels. Older students do not necessarily understand financial literacy, and younger students do not necessarily misunderstand financial literacy. Men and women students have the same perspective about financial literacy in this period. With this finding, students who receive or do not receive education or information about financial knowledge from their parents can dig deeper into financial concepts through formal and non-formal education, such as through universities, social media, and study group discussions. A high level of financial literacy can affect many social aspects of society, which are becoming more developed, and financial perspectives are becoming more modern.
