Abstract

This literary research is primariw aimed at revealing the economical impacts of modemizabon on the tappers in Bekisar Merah. The study uses terdisciplinary approach, which involves economical historical, cultural, ecological, and mimetic approaches. The analysis shows that the forms of modernization in Bekisar Merah are the impacts of the coming of electrification in the village. Modernization does not only cause positive impacts but also negative ones, which are stronger. The negative impacts include monopoly, human andcultural conflict, poverty, disharmony, greediness, law breaking, materialistic life, adultery, divorce, less religiosity, drop outs and migration. The positive impacts indude independence, adaptation, rationality,and efficiency. The problems appear in the novel rellects the inner conflict of the author, Ahmad Tohari He questions the ideas of the coming of electricity set in Karangsoga villase. Modernization can only be enjoyedby the upper class of the society. It cannot meet the nenes sity of the common people. The tappers loose somebenefits because of the coming of electricity in their village. They cannot enjoy the electricity, moreover, it caused misery and poverty.

Abstract

The research target is to explain semantic field of UIi al-Amr and Amir al-Mu'minin in Arabic, especially, which is found in Al-Qur'an and Hadis. The relationship among lexemes is paradigmatic The analysis of each lexeme in the sentence construction shows the meaning ofeach lexeme has synonymous meaning with other at one time and has diherent meaning in other time. Each lexeme could has negative and positive connotation. The connotations are depending on its context and collaration, On the analysis of sentence construction, there are polysemy and homonymy tendency of those lexemes.

Abstract

Muh. Al-Gazali is a Muslim scholar who is brave to make criticism towards a group of society who less accepted "kehujjahan Hadis', 'itihad, and critical reinterpretation towards 'Hadis texts'that contained in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim books. This is made him accused as a sunnah refuse. The arise problem includes 'Hadis position', formulation of valid Hadis criteria, and how to interact with Prophet Hadis Methodology that is used in this discussion is pure descriptive. This research made the writing of al-Gazali as a primary source that much discuss about Hadis problems Al-Gazali considered that all Hadis could become 'hujjah', except 'Hadis ahad' that relates with faith and 'Hadis dhaif' about every things. On valid Hadis criteriais the same as by salaf Muslim Scholar, it is only added on the extem aspect ie, the carefulness in the processing of data and avoiding the repetitiveness of carnal desire. And the intern aspect,the meaning of Hadis must be the same as/parallel with Al-Quran contents

Abstract

Movie and psychoanalysis have similar characteristic. Movie creation as an art form is the process of emerging unconscious impulse and that process is the objects in psychoanalysis. Thecharacters, all of them are male in the film Master and Commander: The Far Side of The World, havethe most primitive unconscious impulse. Those impulse then expressed in many constructive and destructive form. By applying psychoanalysis on the film, the process of conducting the unconscious impulse can be explicitly described.

Abstract

During the reign of Abu Ja far a-Mansur, the second Abbasid caliph, several revolts broke outundermining the newly established caliphate. The revolts were launched by the two brothers of the HasanidAlids: Muhammad al-Nafs al-Zakiyya and Ibrahim b. Abdullah. Another revolt came from al-Mansur's uncle, Abdullah b. Ali who claimed the right of succession to the caliphate. With his cunning and slyness al-Mansur was able to crush these uprisings. He also succeeded in eliminating his great rival, Abu Muslimwho had rendered a great service to the Ab- basids. Due to an intense enmity between al-Mansur and Abu Muslim and the latter's rebellion, the caliph murdered him ruthlessly.

Abstract

The study of islamic movement in Indonesia during the Dutch colonization left some problematic issues for the development of the after-independent islamic educational system inIndonesia. The first Al-Islam congress in Cirebon, which was held by Sarekat Islam (SI), was intended to underline several problems faced by the Indonesian Muslims at that time, to flourish Indonesian unity, and to recommend the Colonial government to abolish the Teachers' Act in 1905.On the contrary, since 1932 the Ducth Co lonial government issued Act on unauthorized schools (De Wilde Scholen Ordonantie) that legalize the government to eliminate schools run by Nationalist or Muslim Movements which were considered anti- government policy and unwilling to corporate withthe government.
