Abstract

Medalem is one of the villages located in Kradenan District, Blora Regency,Central Java. Most of the residents of Kradenan have a livelihood as Farmers, includingresidents of Medalem Village. In addition to farming, residents also conduct cattle and goatbreeding activities, this is due to very supportive natural conditions. Medalem Village,especially Sunggun Hamlet, gets a grant in the form of cattle from the local government tobe managed by each farmer group in Sunggun Hamlet. Until now the number of cowsmanaged by farmer groups has reached 28. Several cows maintained in one places or inresidents in their own homes. There are some disadvantage caused by the amount of cowdung produced by these cows, ranging from unpleasant odors, trees and plants that diefrom piles of cow dung, to the dwindling landfill of cow dung. This research aims toprovide appropriate solutions to overcome these problems. The activities carried out are bybuilding the installation of biogas units in Sunggun Hamlet. This biogas processingtechnique uses a cylinder reactor (floating drum). Some of the results of the activities thathave been carried out are more integrated processing of cow manure, no land wasted toaccumulate cow dung, improved soil and air health quality, availability of new LPGreplacement fuel, availability of organic fertilizer that can be directly applied to crops,availability of waste solid that can be used as a planting medium.

Abstract

Fine aggregate (natural sand) commonly contains a lot of mud and is fine and round shaped which is generated from a friction process making the stickiness of the granules of which is inadequate. In order to gain a good material, washing is required or we have to mix several kinds of aggregate so as to obtain the desired result. The objectives of this study are finding out the the quality of Demak’s fine aggregate, the quality of the concrete produced, the method of enhancing the quality of the Demak’s fine aggregate, the quality of the concrete that uses the enhanced fine aggregate, the comparison between the quality of the fine aggregate prior to and post quality , enhancement and the quality comparison of the produced concrete. Demak’s fine aggregate has a 8.18 % mud content, a 43.53 % water absorbency and fineness modulus ( granule fine modulus) of 2.44. The concrete that uses the Demak’s fine aggregate has the average pressure strength of 94.61 kg/cm2, modulus of rupture of 10,96 kg/cm2 , and splitting test of 30.66 kg/cm2. The Demak’s fine aggregate after being washed has a mud content of 7.46 %, water content and water absorbency of 15.38 % and FM of 2.67. The concrete that uses washed Demak’s fine aggregate has the average pressure strength of 102.06 kg/cm2, modulus of rupture of 12,02 kg/cm2, and splitting test of 33.33 kg/cm2. The fine aggregate of mixture of 50 % washed Demak’s fine aggregate and 50 % stone dust has the mud content of 6.25 %, water content and water absorbency of 8.24 % and FM of 3.24. The concrete that uses the mixture of 50 % washed Demak’s fine aggregate and 50 % stone dust has the average pressure strength of 138 kg/cm2, modulus of rupture of 16.98 kg/cm2, and splitting test of 44.88 kg/cm2. The highest quality enhancement of concrete for average pressure strength converted into the age of 28 days is 45.88 % on the concrete with the material of which is a mixture of 50 % washed Demak’s fine aggregate and 50% stone dust against the concrete with material of which is Demak’s fine aggregate.

Abstract

Temperature data logger is a portable measurement instrument used for reading the temperature of an object and storing the results of temperature in the form of data. Temperature data logger consists of NTC 7.5 K probe thermocouple with serial number SSR038 (16 pieces), the arduino mega microcontroller atmega 2560, and the card data logger module SC-MMC with serial number MOD009. The software used is Arduino 1.5.7 windows based. Testing of 16 thermocouples is done by dipping the thermocouple in water with an initial temperature of about 27oC, then the water is heated slowly for 650 seconds. The results show the same chart pattern, even though there is a slight difference in value. Maximum deviation is 1.0oC. The temperature which is displayed on the monitor screen and stored on the SD card is the same.

Abstract

Service and management of SMK NU Wado Kedungtuban library data still uses the manual method by recording member data, borrowing, repaying and reporting still using books as a medium for recording loan transactions so that it is less effective and efficient. The purpose of research is the design, development and implementation of library information systems to help the process of library service management and data implementation using Java NetBeans IDE-based information systems. The design of the information system is modeled into diagrams in UML (Unified Modeling Language) and the method of developing the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model. This Mobile Based Library Information System Research is expected to help library staff in the process of managing library data, as well as assist students in the process of finding books so that it is easier.

Abstract

A two-phase flow is part of a multi-phase flow. A two-phase flow is defined as a fluid flow consisting of substances of different phases that flow simultaneously in one channel. The two-phases flow has a very complex phenomenon, this is due to interactions between phases, their geometry and orientation (vertical or horizontal). To find out the phenomenon, a numerical study of two-phase flow (water-air) was carried out on a series of vertical pipes, 45o elbow and sloped pipes, which varied in this study was the superficial gas velocity (USG) of 0.031 m/s, 0.068 m/s, 0.109 m/s and 0.157 m/s. Research using Ansys Fluent 16.0 software. The pipe used is a transparent pipe with a diameter of 32 mm and a length of 3000 mm, the elbow used is the elbow 45o. The results of this study indicate that at superficial air velocity (USG) of 0.031 m / s and 0.068 m / s the flow pattern is a combination of annular flow, slug and slight bubble. Whereas at superficial air velocity (USG) 0.109 m / s and 0.157 m / s flow patterns are annular flow and slug.

Abstract

Registration and Admission of new students in MI AT-TAQWA Kedungtuban still uses the manual method in the form of filling in the registration form first and then moved to the ledger, slowing down time and writing errors often occur during the process of recording in the ledger. In addition, there are also often obstacles when the registrant form slips when it is submitted to the ledger. These constraints will cause the PSB committee to feel difficulties when inputting new students. The purpose of research, design, development, and the process of applying new student admissions using a Java NetBeans IDE-based information system. The design of information systems is modeled into diagrams in UML (Unified Modeling Language) and the method of developing the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model. The test results of the New Student Admission Information System obtained 96% of the Interface tested well. The research data was taken from MI AT-TAQWA Kedungtuban in 2019/2020. This research can help the school to make maximum and accelerate registration and acceptance of new students to the maximum.

Abstract

The growing number of motorised vehicles, bringing out two serious threats: the first economic factor in the form of oil fuel that is getting longer is thinning. To the two factors of environmental pollution, which is the pollution caused by the combustion of oil fuel either directly in the form of harmful exhaust emissions such as CO, and HC and indirect pollution in the form of global warming Potential Caused by the amount of CO2. Therefore, it takes an environmentally friendly alternative energy as fuel, one of which is LPG fuel (Liquefied Petroleum Gas).The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the use of LPG fuel against the exhaust gas emissions of CO, and HC on 4-Step Motors. The results showed that the use of LPG fuel on 4 Stroke Motors was able to reduce emissions of exhaust gas CO and HC. The lowest CO-rate occurred at a 1500 rpm round of 0.49% vol, while the highest HC at 1500 rpm was 358% Vol. While the lowest CO2 at the 1200 rpm rotation was 2.94% Vol. Specific fuel consumption (SFC) tends to be more efficient than Using premium fuel, because the use of LPG fuel provides the optimization of combustion. This is due to the fuel-air mixture that goes into the cylinder of the combustion chamber into a homogeneous mixture and causes perfect burning.
