Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effects of flow separation on the distribution pattern statics pressure recovery in the flow through the rectangular elbow. The study was conducted experimentally by measuring the static pressure at the area of radius r at the center of curvature. Pressure measurements were made with three variations of the Reynolds number (Re). The results of the measurement of static pressure generally indicates that the flow pattern in the radial direction is formed does not undergo significant changes with the change of Reynolds number / flow rate. The results of measurement obtained information that has outerwall side pressure coefficient (Cp) is positive, while in the inner side wall has a pressure coefficient (Cp) is negative. This shows that the outer side has a greater pressure than the inner side. In the radial direction the pressure coefficient (Cp) increased as you bend radius of curvature rectangular, which means that the larger the finger - the finger curvature, stress the fish is also getting bigger. This research has not found any effect on the pattern of change in Reynolds number and flow characteristics that form the radial direction passing through the channel testing.

Abstract

Concrete is a construction material that is most often used, because it has many advantages both in terms of structure, economic implementation and maintenance. To determine the compressive strength of concrete using the method bias Road Note No.4, American Concrete Instiitute methods, methods of English (The British Mix Design Method) method and Try-coba.Tujuan this study was to achieve compressive strength of concrete characteristics (σ'bk = 300 kg / cm2) obtained from the method of designing the American concrete Institute (ACI) and the British design method (the British Mix Design method) by using the same material concrete apartment blocks. From research conducted in get the compressive strength of concrete produced by the method of the American Concrete Institute σ 'bk = 399.313 kg / cm2 and British methods σ' bk = 399.313 kg / cm2. The price per cubic meter of concrete with the method of the American Concrete Institute Rp. , 605 222, - and the method of British Rp. 662 759, -. Then the price per cubic meter of concrete with the method of the American Concrete Institute cheaper than the British method.

Abstract

In the condenser pipe a process of heat transfer from the refrigerant vapor to the air conditioner, the amount of heat transferred through the wall of the cooling pipe depending on the temperature difference, the pipe material, the flow rate of refrigerant and cooling fan. Condenser fan motor used as a driving force to rotate the fan to circulate cold air to cool the condenser. Therefore the condenser fan rotation greatly affect the performance of the condenser in heat transfer. In this experiment will examine how large the influence of the condenser fan rotation on the rate of cooling and the resulting COP. Experimental method is carried out by variation of the condenser fan rotation, namely: 700 rpm, 800 rpm, 900 rpm, 1000 rpm and 1100 rpm. Having done the research and analysis of data on round fan condenser 700 rpm, 800 rpm, 900 rpm, 1000 rpm and 1100 rpm, be concluded that the round fan condenser most optimal is the rotation of 900 rpm, as shown by the results of the cooling rate of the fastest and the COP compared with the variation of the condenser fan rotation others. The cooling rate generated in the condenser fan rotation rpm 900 reaches -3.6 ⁰C in the first 5 minutes and reach the steady state in the 15th minute with a temperature of 23.2 ⁰C and COP at 14.33.

Abstract

Kastela beam is a steel beam with the body open vertical height is doubled because the preparation of the half-pieces of the agency. Optimization of structures with variable geometry design is called a hole shape optimization, therefore, the re-calculation is required for each change of shape, so it takes a long computation time. The study aims to get the shape, size and spacing holes hexagonal shape and the distance between the holes with the same height of the perforation, in order to get the configuration or layout optimal pit, and knowing that occurs between the beam deflection Kastella with its original profile. Computerized simulation method used by SAP 2000 version 14 to 5 samples to obtain the optimum size hole distance on the I profile steel beams with hexagonal openings and the loading condition that a distributed load along the span and the load point at midspan. The simulation results show that the ratio of the smallest voltage occurs in the second sample, ie Kastella beam with a distance of 15 cm with perforations voltage value 1723.49 kg / cm2, while the ratio of the greatest stress on the sample IV Kastella beam with a distance of 25 cm with perforations voltage value 1968.21 kg / cm2. The smallest deflection occurs in sample II with a perforation spacing of 15 cm with a value of 0.2083 mm, while for the greatest deformation occurs in the sample IV with perforation spacing of 25 cm with a value of 0.2811 mm deformation, so the distance, shape, and it is best pelubangannya perforations with a distance of 15 cm for configuration or layout optimal pit. And it makes the problem of how travelers can search for suitable cave, given some constraints such as do not know the area, or do not have a friend who can show cave Goad an appropriate state for the tourists. This information system that will accommodate for tourists caves that are confused in finding the appropriate information and the cave that will help determine the state of a focused Online.sistem cave in cave information, place and circumstances of the cave can be done with this system.The success of the implementation of this system is that it can run well to help the tourists cave within a cave looking for suitable locations. Abstract

Perspective of Islamic education as based on data released by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Indonesia has an estimated geothermal potential of 27,000 MW spread across 256 locations [Suyanto]. The number of states Indonesia is an area which has reserves of geothermal energy 40% of the world's total geothermal reserves. PT PLN (Persero) PLTP Ulubelu is the largest geothermal plant in Lampung with capacity of Unit 1 and Unit 2 of 110 MW. In this research, analysis of the performance of the steam turbine mengenahi geothermal power plants and analysis of the influence of the turbine inlet temperature and pressure as well as vacuum pressure in the condenser at Ulubelu PLTP Unit 1. Based on average yield calculation analysis indicating that the actual turbine power of 49 736 kW, ideal turbine power amounting to 56617.46 kW, amounting to 48741.28 kW power generator, isentropis efficiency of 87.85%, the specific steam consumption (steam turbine rate) 6.6712591 kg / kWh, turbine heat rate 18443.66 kJ / kWh and thermal efficiency by 19 , 53%. Turbine performance is influenced by temperature, inlet pressure turbine and condenser vacuum pressure, evidenced from the results of the analysis in which the inlet temperature of 165.5 ° C 6.9543 bar inlet pressure and pressure-a vacuum condenser br 0,074-a is able to produce the actual power 50100 kW, power 55341.1516 ideal kW, ƞs = 90.5293%, the specific steam consumption of 6.44 kg / kWh, turbine heat rate 17781.03 kJ / kWh and ƞth = 20.24%.

Abstract

The use of electrical loads in the residence would be more effective and efficient if there is an automation control systems, and monitoring the set, resulting in electricity savings in all electrical and electronic equipment which affect the cost of electricity payment every month as well lifespan becomes longer. In this paper applied a method of design and manufacture of hardware systems (hadware) and software (software) by utilizing the Technology Power Line Communication (PLC). The design unit PLC based products. The design of the economic value of the product of the energy cost savings each month. Product Series P3oT PLC unit which serves as the control and monitoring of electrical loads PLC-based residential affecting the electricity cost savings of up to 37% every month.
