Many factor may determine whether a marriage will be succesful or not. Among those factors, probably the important one is the desire and ability to adjust, to each other in satisfying sexual experience. In man the process of sexual activity is somewhat complicated. The act ought to be widely understood, since much human happiness depends on proper sex knowledge and adjustment. Psychological factors may play a role in the failure of sexual satisfaction.Considering the facts above, the author assumes that there will be a relationship between anxiety and sexual problem in married life. The assumption encouraged the author to study the problem.A survey of sexual problems during married life was carried out in the Special Province of Yogyakarta, among cases who proposed divorce. Results show that most of the cases with sexual problems present anxiety. A comparison between the cases with and without sexual problem, shows significant differences in the distribution of anxiety.Key Words: sexual problem - married life - anxiety - sexology - psychiatry

Cutaneous larva migrans (CLM) is caused by animal hookworm larvae in man. The conventional diagnosis and treatment of CLM will injure the skin of the patients, and the results are not satisfying. Therefore it should be necessary to do the serological test to diagnose CLM.The antigens were prepared by extracting the hookworm larvae in CTAB detergent, and injected into Balb/C mice. Characterization of antigens were done, quantitatively (by spectrophotonieter) and qualitatively (by SDS PAGE electrophoresis). The results showed that the titre rate of hookworm larvae antigens was 145 ug/ml. The antigens consist of 4 protein fractions with molecular weight of 25 KD, 55 KD, 66 KD and above 66 KD. Those antigents apparently generated high immune response in immunized miceKey Words; Ancylostoma spp. - CTAB detergent - SDS PAGE electrophoresis - immunology - parasitology

Non-ionic (Iopamiro) and ionic (Urografin 76%) contrast media were used for intravenous urographic examination. Three patients (6%) showed symptoms of side effect in ionic group; two of them without allergy history, but only one patient had an experience of allergy to shrimp, penicillin and dust. The symptoms of reaction were chills, dizziness and febris. There was no reaction in non-ionic group patients. The density of contrast media was superior in using Iopamiro.Key Words : intravenous urography - Iopamiro - Urografin 76% - allergy - radiology

Androblastoma is a rare semimalignant ovarian tumor which occurs most frequently during the reproductive years and is assumed to arise from sexually ambivalent cells noted in the ovary of the 6-7 weeks embryo or to be of teratoid origin. The excessive secretion of testosteron will occur and lead to masculinism, while androgens will suppress normal ovarian function and cause the sign of virilization. A 3-years subferdIc case was a 27 year-old-woman with typical syndrome of androblastoma manifested by virilization and defeminization. The testosteron concentration was 700 ng/dl, prolactin: 8,4 p.g/1, Barr body drumstick (+), while the chromosomal analysis indicated female genotype (46 XX). Simple oophorcctomy was done, the size of the left ovarian tumor was 9 x 7 x 8 cm, encapsulated and there was no adhesion. The uterus and adnexa were normal. The pathological result was malignant. Alkeran cytostatic treatment was given in 5 series of 12,5 mg orally. However, the pregnancy occurred during the treatment. The patient was then managed carefully as a routine procedure without and-cancer drugs anymore. The baby was born normally without any congenital anomaly. The signs of either virilism or masculinism decreased. Hormonal examination showed a normal level of testosteron.Key Words: infertility - androblastoma - cytostatics - ovarian tumor - virilization
