Morphometric and morphological bat identification are a conventional method of identification and requires precision, significant experience, and encyclopedic knowledge. Morphological features of a species may sometimes similar to that of another species and this causes several problems for the beginners working with bat taxonomy. The purpose of the study was to implement and conduct the random forest and C5.0 algorithm analysis in order to decide characteristics and carry out identification of bat species. It also aims at developing supporting decision-making system based on the model to find out the characteristics and identification of the bat species. The study showed that C5.0 algorithm prevailed and was selected with the mean score of accuracy of 98.98%, while the mean score of accuracy for the random forest was 97.26%. As many 50 rules were implemented in the DSS to identify common and rare bat species with morphometric and morphological attributes.

In this paper ultra-high-speed generators operated in intermittent periodic and short-term mode were considered. Experimental studies of losses depending on frequencies in the magnetic core of microelectromechanical energy converters made from amorphous steel were made. Dependence of the flux density from the temperature in the air gap of the experimental layout of high-coercivity permanent magnets was obtained. Computer modeling of the magnetic field distribution on the cross section of the stator magnetic core of microelectromechanical energy converters were made in the software package Ansoft Maxwell. Dependence of friction losses of the rotor around the air from the air temperature was obtained. Comparisons of losses and efficiency of microelectromechanical energy converters in a cold state and after 10 minutes of operation without cooling were made.

This paper is under in-depth investigation due to suspicion of possible plagiarism on a high similarity indexIn this article, A compact size band pass filter based on octagonal resonators is presented to give sharp response at desired frequency bands along with very low insertion loss. The proposed filter structure is composed of octagonal microstrip resonators, backed by Quasi-Yagi slots ‘Quasi-Yagi Defected Ground Structure’ (Quasi-Yagi-DGS). By controlling the electrical coupling between the octagonal–strip and the Quasi-Yagi-DGS, the bandpass filter’s stopband is optimized for better rejection. The proposed BPF has low insertion loss and compact size because of the slow-wave effect. Meanwhile, sharp rejection bands induced by the presence of two transmission zeros. The simulated center frequency and passband insertion loss are 2.4 GHz and 0.6 dB, respectively.

Streaming technology is currently experiencing a great progress. Faster internet more users streaming. Streaming services that exist today there are still weaknesses in both the upload speed, streaming speed and limited types of video extensions that can be played. To resolve these problems then made a video streaming service based local area network with a system of cloud computing that can work effectively in terms of upload speeds, streaming and variations in video formats. Video streaming application is classified as a service IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service Cloud) in cloud computing. On the use of streaming applications the user does not need to convert the video, with the purpose of uploading process can be faster and applications can play a variety of video formats.

This paper describes a numerical experiment of design and operation of a fiber coupler between single mode fiber and fiber Bragg grating (FBG). Both components are coupled depending with optical waveguide and source parameters. A characterization of fiber coupler is simulated by varying long grating of 10 mm to 60 mm using transfer matrix method based on coupled mode equation. The wave peak, transmission, and dispersion parameters are analyzed to determine the performance of the fiber coupler. The transmission spectrum showed the wave peaks rise to any increase in the grating length on channel 1 and channel 2. Transmission on channel 1 and channel 2 decreased from the wavelength range of 1.45μm–1.55μm and rised in the range of 1,55μm–1,65μm for each increment in length of grating. The dispersion showed the zero dispersion at specific wavelength for each increase in length of grating. This component can be applied for controlling information signal in wide range communication.

The purpose of this research is to generate a robust agent by combining bee colony optimization (BCO) and ELU-Ants for solving traveling salesman problem (TSP), called HABCO. The robust agents, called ant-bees, firstly are grouped into three types scout, follower, recruiter at each stages. Then, the bad agents are high probably discarded, while the good agents are high probably duplicated in earlier steps. This first two steps mimic BCO algorithm. However, constructing tours such as choosing nodes, and updating pheromone are built by ELU-Ants method. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, HABCO is performed on several benchmark datasets and compared to ACS and BCO. The experimental results show that HABCO achieves the better solution, either with or without 2opt.

The separation between the low-voltage part and high-voltage part of the converter is formed by a transformer that transfers power while jamming the DC ring. The resonant mode power oscillator is utilized to allow elevated competence power transfer. The on-chip transformer is probable to have elevated value inductance, elevated quality factors and elevated coupling coefficient to decrease the loss in the oscillation. The performance of a transformer is extremely dependent on the structure, topology and other essential structures that create it compatible with the integrated circuits IC process such as patterned ground shield (PGS). Different types of transformers are modeled and simulated in MATLAB; the performances are compared to select the optimum design. The on-chip transformer model is simulated and the Results of MATLAB simulation are exposed, showing an excellent agreement in radio frequency RF.

This paper discusses the formation of an appropriate regression model in precipitation prediction. Precipitation prediction has a major influence to multiply the agricultural production of potatoes in Tengger, East Java, Indonesia. Periodically, the precipitation has non-linear patterns. By using a non-linear approach, the prediction of precipitation produces more accurate results. Genetic algorithm (GA) functioning chooses precipitation period which forms the best model. To prevent early convergence, testing the best combination value of crossover rate and mutation rate is done. To test the accuracy of the predicted results are used Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) as a benchmark. Based on the RMSE value of each method on every location, prediction using GA-Non-Linear Regression is better than Fuzzy Tsukamoto for each location. Compared to Generalized Space-Time Autoregressive-Seemingly Unrelated Regression (GSTAR-SUR), precipitation prediction using GA is better. This has been proved that for 3 locations GA is superior and on 1 location, GA has the least value of deviation level.
