Abstract

The rapid adoption of battery-free internet-of-things (IoT) sensors in multiple environments ranging from agriculture to wildlife surveillance, has seen increased research interest in backscatter communication (BSC) technology. BSC is viewed as a potential technology to enable the further spread of sustainable battery-free IoT applications in environments and scenarios where bulkier-sized battery-powered IoT devices would be unsuitable. In this study, we investigate the secrecy capacity of a bi-static BSC network in the presence of a malicious eavesdropper. The proposed BSC system consists of a reader, multiple backscatter devices, and an eavesdropper. We derive closed-form strictly positive secrecy capacity (SPSC) expressions and ergodic secrecy capacity (ESC) expressions for the BSC reader. Monte Carlo simulations verify the exact capacity expressions.

Abstract

This article uses a dynamic voltage restorer to tackle a wide range of power quality issues, such as voltage drooping and swelling, spikes, distortions, and so on. The proportional controller, integrated controller (PI), and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) are proposed dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) controllers. The control strategy's goal is to employ an injection transformer to mitigate for the needed voltage and keep the load voltage fixed. The settings of the PI controller are fine-tuned using two methods: trial and error and intelligent optimum. Particle swarm optimization (PSO) is now the most effective method. In terms of settling time, overshoot, undershoot, and disturbances around the final value, the PSO-tuned PI controller outperforms the trial-and-error PI controller. The ANFIS controller is used to regulate the DVR's responsiveness through the PI-PSO controller. The PI-PSO data is used as training data by the ANFIS controller. The results show that a DVR with an ANFIS controller outperforms a PI-PSO controller in terms of overshoot, undershoot spike voltage, steady state time, and settling time. In the case of a failure voltage, the DVR with an ANFIS controller has a 27% undershoot spike voltage while the PI-PSO controller has a 30% undershoot spike voltage.

Abstract

A novel 4-D hyperchaotic system that have seven positive parameters in third order with thirteen terms is proposed,in this paper, the proposed chaotic behavior is proved by analysis of the Lyapunov's exponent, fractional dimension, zero-one test, sensitivity dependent on initial condition (SDIC), phase portraits, and waveform analysis, this study offers an innovative designed image encryption algorithm depending on a 4-D chaotic system using fast discrete Walsh-Hadamard transform and magic matrix that is both effective and simple for image encryption and gives it a higher level of security. This new 4-D hyperchaotic system is used to produce a random key in this algorithm. The implemented and simulated results using mathematica programs and MATLAB programs were supplied qualitatively and in figures. The proposed system is hyperchaotic, according to testing results, because it possesses two Lyapunov positive exponents.

Abstract

This study illustrates the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing administrative decision support systems by depend on knowledge management. As per new technologies are evolving and the workflow need more concious approach of implementation, thus the role of artificial intelligence is evolved in support to decision making. The study takes privates college administration as a varible on which the results rely. The upgrades in innovation have upgraded most techniques for leading business tasks that further develop organizations and administration conveyance. Companies in this area need to wander into digitizing of all industry cycles, business sequences linked to administration and more essential services in educational institutes over time. The need for a proper decision-making support using knowledge management stills create a big gap in the foundation of an effective and efficient eductaional system for the good governance and to improve the image of some institute. The examination interaction has been intended to follow an iterative methodology of information revelation chose for the review. Using the statistical package for social sciences (IBM-SPSS) version 23 logic instrument, the illustrative research was completed with insights into the segment profile of the respondents. Hayes' process macro v3.3 with SPSS was used to analyze the interceding effect.

Abstract

One of the most severe issues in the cloud is security. In comparison to financial data, so it is extremely sensitive and must be safeguarded against unwanted access. We have developed a proposed system based on three different keys. We divided the data into insensitive, sensitive, and highly sensitive data. The data will be saved on a separate cloud server. The proposed system used different keys for encryption and decryption purposes. The elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) based distributed cloud-based secure data storage (DDSPE) approach was proposed to provide secure large data based data protection across the different clouds. With DDSPE technology, the ECC scheme has been used for encryption and decryption purposes. The cloud is used for simulation. The results of the tests reveal that the suggested DDSPE system is safe and saves time regarding data retention and retrieval. To analyze performance, we compared the DDSPE method with advance encryption standard (AES), blowfish, rivest shamir adleman (RSA), security-aware efficient distributed storage (SA-EDS), and attribute based encryption (ABE) based secure distributed storage (ASDSS). In terms of information retention and recovery, our methodology is quite effective because it requires less amount of time as compared to other strategies.

Abstract

The optic disc (OD) is an important landmark of the retina and its location is essential for computer-aided diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. This paper presented a new method that applies the proposed graph traversal algorithm for vertical vascular infrastructure to detect root nodes representing the location of optical discs. The proposed algorithms were designed to process the terrific view of blood vessels from a polar image without depending on the prominent OD characteristic of circular/elliptical shape and brightness. Before constructing the vascular infrastructure, the new multi-scale and multi-orientation top-hat filters were proposed to properly approximate blood vessels of different sizes and directions. The proposed method provided efficiency and certainty for complex retinal images such as low contrast OD with low illumination and distorted OD shape due to complex vascular structure. The algorithms evaluation was performed on five public fundus image databases for retinal image analysis. Experimental results revealed that the proposed algorithm identified valid optical discs with high accuracy as 91.21%, 95.09%, 88.45%, 91.66%, and 95.01% for the five corresponding data sets and outperformed comparison methods.
