Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan buatan, cacing sutra (Tubifex sp.), dan kombinasi keduanya terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan patin siam (Pangasius hypophthalmus). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan. Analisis terhadap data pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan regresi linier. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pakan buatan, cacing sutra (Tubifex sp.) dan kombinasi keduanya berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan patin siam. Perlakuan A (100% Tubifex sp.) memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik menghasilkan pertambahan panjang dan berat tertinggi sebesar 1,89 cm dan 0,74 gr. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of artificial feeding and silk worms (Tubifex sp.), and the combination of both on the growth and survival of Siamese catfish (Pangasius hypophthalmus) seeds. This research is using experimental method. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments. Analysis of growth and survival data uses descriptive analysis and linear regression. The analysis showed that the provision of artificial feed and silk worms (Tubifex sp.) and the combination of both had a positive effect on the growth and survival. Treatment A (100% Tubifex sp.) Gave the best growth resulting in the highest length and weight increase of 1.89 cm and 0.74 gr. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bioflok limbah budidaya ikan nila (Oreocromis niloticus) terhadap pertumbuhan dan sintasan benih ikan lele sangkuriang (Clarias gariepinus). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan panjang dan berat mutlak terbaik ditunjukkan pada perlakuan C berturut-turut sebesar 4,1cm dan 0,75 g. Sintasan benih ikan lele selama penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan C (10 ml) adalah sintasan terbaik dengan nilai 100 %. Hasil analisis sidik ragam pertumbuhan panjang dan berat benih ikan lele menunjukan bahwa pemberian bioflok dengan dosis yang berbeda berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan panjang dan sintasan benih dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan berat benih. Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) untuk pertumbuhan berat menunjukkan bahwa pada setiap perlakuan berbeda nyata. This study aims to determine the effect of biofloc tilapia (Oreocromis niloticus) as culture waste on the growth and survival of seeds of sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus). This research is using experimental method. The design used in the study was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The results showed that the best absolute length and weight growth was shown in treatment C respectively 4.1 cm and 0.75 g. Survival of catfish seeds during the study showed that treatment C (10 ml) was the best survival rate with a value of 100%. The results of analysis of various growth length and weight of catfish seeds showed that the administration of biofloc with different doses affected the length growth and survival rate of the seeds and significantly affected the growth of seed weight. Least Significant Difference Test (LSD) for weight growth showed that each treatment was significantly different. Katakunci: Ikan lele; Clarias gariepinus; bioflok; pertumbuhan; sintasan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan dosis madu yang berbeda melalui perendaman induk guppy terhadap jantanisasi anakan ikan guppy (Poecilia reticulata). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di balai benih ikan kota Gorontalo dari bulan Juli-Oktober 2015. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental model rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dalam 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Analisis terhadap persentase kelamin jantan menggunakan analysis of variance (ANOVA) dan uji BNT (Beda Nyata Terkecil). Hasil analisis varian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan dosis madu yang berbeda melalui perendaman induk guppy berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jantanisasi anakan ikan guppy. Presentase kelamin jantan yang dihasilkan dari tiap perlakuan adalah A (49,34%), B (52,77%), C (64,68%), dan D (68,71%). Presentase jantan tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan D dengan dosis madu 55 ml/L yakni sebesar 68,71% This study aims to determine the use of different doses of honey through the immersion of guppy broodstock to gain male guppy pups (Poecilia reticulata). This research was conducted at Gorontalo City from July-October 2015. The method used was an experimental method with a completely randomized design model (CRD) in 4 treatments and 3 replications. Analysis of the percentage of male sex was using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and LSD (Least Significant Difference). The results of the analysis showed that the use of different doses of honey through the immersion of guppy broodstock had a very significant effect on the maleization of guppy puppies. The percentage of male genitalia produced from each treatment were A (49.34%), B (52.77%), C (64.68%), and D (68.71%). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perendaman larutan belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L), jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) dan cuka aren (Arenga pinnata) yang mengandung asam terhadap karakteristik mutu kimiawi tepung ikan manggabai (Glossogobius giuris). Rancangan penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap Tunggal (RAL) dengan 3 ulangan. Hasil analisis sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa perendaman dengan larutan asam (belimbing wuluh, jeruk nipis dan cuka aren) memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap karakteristik kimiawi berupa kadar air, abu tak larut asam, protein dan lemak. Secara keseluruhan, perlakuan yang menggunakan perendaman larutan jeruk nipis (T3) menghasilkan kualitas tepung ikan terbaik berdasarkan SNI dengan kadar air (2,74%), kadar abu tak larut asam (0,94%), kadar protein (40,17%) dan kadar lemak (2,15%). This study aims to determine the effect of immersion of starfruit solution (Averrhoa bilimbi L), lime (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) and palm vinegar (Arenga pinnata) containing acid on the chemical quality characteristics of manggabai fish flour (Glossogobius giuris). The design of this study was a single Complete Random Design (CRD) with 3 replications. The results of analysis of variance showed that soaking with acidic solution (starfruit, lime juice and palm vinegar) had a significant effect on chemical characteristics such as water content, insoluble ash, acid, protein and fat. Overall, the treatment using lime solution immersion (T3) produced the best quality of fish flour based on SNI with water content (2.74%), acid insoluble ash content (0.94%), protein content (40.17%) and fat content (2.15%). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui produktifitas dan kelayakan usaha bagan rakit di Desa Bulalo, Kecamatan Kwandang, Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara, Provinsi Gorontalo. Analisis yang digunakan yakni analisis produktivitas dan kelayakan usaha bagan rakit. Produksi bagan rakit di Desa Bulalo mengalami peningkatan pada tahun 2012 dan 2013 jika dibandingkan 2014, dimana pada tahun 2012 produksi tangkapan 2.095.172 kg, 2013 produksi tangkapan 2.138.107 kg dan tahun 2014 produksi tangkapan 1.635.933 kg. Analisis laba bagan rakit mempunyai keuntungan Rp.43.377.000/tahun, analisis RC bagan rakit 1,74 maka usaha tersebut layak dilanjutkan. Untuk analisis PP usaha bagan rakit 1,01 tahun yakni pegambilan investasi selama kurun waktu 1 tahun 8 hari. BEP produksi 11.624 kg, BEP harga Rp.2.863/kg. This study aims to determine the productivity and business feasibility of raft-lift-net in Bulalo Village, Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. The analysis used is the analysis of productivity and business feasibility of a raft-lift-net. Production increased in 2012 and 2013 when compared to 2014, where in 2012 the catch was 2,095,172 kg, 2013 was 2,138,107 kg and in 2014 it was 1,635,933 kg. Analysis of the profit showa that the raft-lift-net has a profit of Rp.43,377,000 / year, RC analysis of the 1.74 that indicates that the business is worth continuing. For PP analysis resulted at 1.01 year means that the investment will take 1 year and 8 days to return. Production BEP is 11,624 kg and Price BEP is Rp.2,863 / kg.
