Abstract

The aim of this study was  to evaluate response growth and production of sweet corn(Zea mays saccharataSturt) on the provision of tempe waste liquid organic fertilizer and liquid biological fertilizer. This study used a randomized factorial design  with two factors, namely Liquid Organic Fertilizer Waste Tempe (T0 = control,T1 = 1 ltr/2 ltr of water/plot, T2 = 2 ltr/2 ltr of water/plot andT3 = 3 ltr/2 ltr of water/plot) and Liquid Biological Fertilizer (A0 = Control,A1 = 5 ml/3 ltr of water/plot,A2 = 10 ml/3 ltr of water/plot,A3 = 15 ml/3 ltr of water/plot) treatment repeated three times. Data were analyzed by using analysis of variance followed by different test Mean according to Duncan (DMRT) at 5% level. The results showed that provision of Liquid Organic Fertilizer Waste Tempe significantly affected plant height parameters between 2 and 4 weeks after planting (WAP), number of leaves (6 WAP)and diameter of the cob after harvesting. Provision of Liquid Biological Fertilizer significantly effected on plant height (4 WAP), stem diameter (6 WAP), leaf area (48 days after planting), cob weight, 100seed weight and diameter of the cob. The interaction between the factors giving of Liquid Organic FertilizerTempe waste and liquid bio fertilizer significantly effected on plant height (4 WAP) and the diameter of the cob after harvesting.Key words: liquid organic fertilizer, liquid biological fertilizer, growth and crop production.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the response of the growth and production of groundnut (Arachis hypogeae L.) to fertilizer application and mycorrhizal biological solid waste (sludge), field trials conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra Muhammadiyah, sub Sei blue-blue, Deli Serdang regency Province North Sumatra with altitude ± 150 m above sea level, in May and ending in August 2014. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) factorial with two factors: Biological Fertilizer Mycorrhizae (M) with 4 levels, namely: control = M0, M1 = 3 g / plant M2 = 6 g / plant M3 = 9 g / plant and factors giving Solid Waste (Sludge) with 3 levels, namely: S1 = 13ton = 2 kg / plot, S2 = 26 tons / ha = 4 kg / plot, S3 = 39 tons / ha = 6 kg / plot. observation parameters namely: plant height, number of branches, days to flowering, number ginopora, number of pods / plant, number of empty pods / plant, number of pods / plot, weight of pods / plant, weight of pods / plot, and the weight of 100 seeds. The survey results revealed that significantly different biological fertilizer Mycorrhiza on the parameters of plant height, number of branches, days to flowering, number of pods / plant, number of pods / plot, weight of pods / plant, pod weight / dose plots mycorrhizal biofertilizer best of 4 levels of treatment ie the dose 9 g / plant .and solid waste (sludge) was significantly different in the 2 MST parameters seedling height and weight of 100 seeds / plot.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the ratio of farmer income before and after assistance and to determine the effect SAFVER program (land, fry, feed, and drugs-drugs) on the increase tiger shrimp farmers' income. Sampling method using Simple Random Sampling and analytical methods used are different test score - average and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. Results of different test average - average based on the value of t - 13:27 count> t - 2:06 table means there is a difference between the farmer’s income before and after SAFVER assistance. Contribution of SAFVER program on the tiger shrimp farmer’s income are based on the value of t - 4:30 count> t - table 2:06 the real impact on tiger shrimp farmers' income. Juveniles, based on the value of t-count -3.68> t - 2:06 table then a real negative effect on the tiger shrimp farmer’s income. Feed, based on the value of t-2:54 count > t - 2:06 table then significantly affect revenues tiger shrimp farmers. Drugs, based on the value of t-hitung 1:00 <t - 2:06 table then not significantly for tiger shrimp farmers income. But from the F test shows that the vast land, fry, feed, and medicine - oabatan significantly affect on the incomes of tiger shrimp farmers.Keywords: safver, tiger shrimp, income

Abstract

The aim of this study was to preparate and characterize polyurethane foam by using a polyol natural rubber latex. Polyurethane synthesized from polypropylene glycol (PPG), Toluene Diisocyanates (TDI) and polyols Natural Rubber Latex. Polyurethane foam that is formed then characterized by mechanical properties and morphology using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Mechanical properties and morphology of the polyurethane foam is the optimum addition of 50% polyol natural rubber latex in the manufacture of polyurethane foam.Keywords: toluene diisocyanates, polypropylene glycol, polyols, natural rubber latex

Abstract

Business cassava chips in KUK Sipare-pare Village is one of the businesses at Sipare-pare Village that managed by the use of simply limited technology. The aims of this study was to determine the amount of benefit, feasibility and added value of the business processing cassava into cassava chips at Sipare-pare, Air Putih District, Batu Bara. The basic method used in this research is descriptive method. The determination of the research location was done by intentionally (purposive), KUK Sipare-pare Village,  Air Putih District , Batu Baru. Primary data and secondary data were used by observation, interview and record keeping. Analysis method that used by business analysis to determine the amount of benefit, feasibility and added value. The results showed that the profit earned from the business of processing cassava into cassava chips in a single production process at the KUK Sipare-pare was Rp. 403,518.62, -. with R/C ratio 1.57. Processing of cassava into cassava chips at KUK Sipare-pare Village obtained gross value added of Rp 696,000, - net added value of Rp. 693,518.62, - value added per feedstock Rp 5.800, -/ kg and the value added per worker was Rp. 69,600, - /day.Key words: Analysis, value added, feasibility, cassava chips.

Abstract

This study uses a complete random design (CRD) with a factorial (2) two replications. The first factor is the amount of sodium bicarbonate with a password (N) consisting of 4 levels, namely: N0 = 0%, 0,1% = N1, N2 and N3 = 0,2% = 0,3%. The second factor is the temperature of the drying with a password (S) which consists of 4 levels, namely: S1 = 550C, 600C = S2, S3 = 650C and S4=700C. The parameters observed were: carbohydrate content, water content, organoleptic color, and texture. In this study, the best treatment to make tortillas durian seed is the N3S4 treatment, the amount of 0.3% sodium bikarbnat and drying temperature 700C. Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the influence of liquid organic fertilizer and solid waste (sludge) to growth and production tomatoes (SolanumLycopersicum L.).  Pure varieties were used in this research. This research carried out by using a group random design (SHELVES) Factorial with two factors that are examined, factors giving Multiguna exclusively with 3 level, namely: Mo = Without treatment, M1 =2 ml/1 liter of water, M2 = 4 ml/1liter water. Factors giving Solid waste ( sludge ) with 3 level, namely: S0 = Without treatment, S1 = 3 kg/assassinations, S2 = 6 kg/plots. This research done by using 3 deuteronomy, the number of plants per plot 6 plants, the number of plant samples per plot 3 plants, the number of plots or 27 assassinations, the distance between plots or 50 cm, distance between deuteronomy 100 cm, long-term plots or 150 cm, wide plots or 1 m, wide plots or 100 cm x 150 cm, distance 40 x 40 cm, the number of plants altogether 216 plants, the number of plant samples 81 plants. The result showed liquid organic fertilizer with the dose 4 ml/liter water affected the plants, the highest 53.78 cm, the number of fruit per plant most is 13.12 fruit. Heavy fruit per plant most severe is 333.89 g Solid waste (sludge) have effected on tomatoes, the highest is 50.78 cm, there is no interaction between the liquid organic fertilizer and solid waste (sludge) to all parameters that are measured.Keywords: tomato, fertilizer multiguna exclusive, solid waste ( sludge )

Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify the influences of production inputs (land, seed, fertilizer solid, liquid fertilizers, herbicides, and labor) to the continued production of cassava farming and to identify the level of income from farming cassava farmers in Silau Rakyat Village Sei Rampah Resort Serdang Bedagai. Sampling method using census method which takes all the population. The data analysis method used is the multiple linear regression analysis and analysis of revenues. The results showed that the use of production inputs in the study area simultaneously affecting cassava production continued. While partially affecting cassava production is continued land, seeds and liquid fertilizer, while not affecting cassava production is continued solid fertilizers, herbicides and labor. Then based on the results of the analysis of the level of income is known that the level of income of farmers in the study area is high. Keyword : production inputs, farming

Abstract

The research of the effect of various types of organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of mung bean (Vigna radiata l.) has been carried out by using a randomized block design  with 2 factors and 3 replications. The analytical methods used to conclute derived from the analysis of data by using a linear mathematical model. The observed parameters were plant height, stem diameter, number of productive branches, number of pods / plant and 100-seed weight. Provision of various types of organic fertilizers, organic fertilizers dose, as well as interaction not significant effect on all parameters observed.Keywords: organic fertilizer, growth, yield, mung bean

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Research Center Plantation Sungei Putih from May to August 2014. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential benefits of Amazon 1981 eight genotypes material rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.-Arg). This study uses a nested plot design (RPT). Genotypes germplasm used is PN 4578, PN 4676, PN 5819, PN 5778, PN 4543, PN 4648, PN 4808, PN 3718 and PB 260 as clones comparison. From the results of the evaluation of the origin of the Amazon eight genotypes selected in 1981 at the age of 12 years showed that genotype PN 4578 and PN 5778 has the best performance compared to PB 260 clones comparison with the range of results of dry rubber g / p / s (31.25 to 32.83 g), girth (59.78 to 65.86 cm), thick skin (8 mm) and the number of latex vessel rings (33.33 to 35.17). Genotype PN 4676 resulted in a very high wood with a potential total timber volume reached 1.53 m3/tree. Genotype PN 4578 and PN 5778 is a rubber cultivars that have the potential advantage of latex production, while the PN 4676 is the best genotype as a producer of wood. The genotypes that can be developed, especially in the breeding program to assemble rubber clones and more productive as a producer of latex and timber.Keywords: potential, genotype material Amazon, rubber
