Abstract

The background of the research is by the teenager who should be entitled unhealthy personality that teens who do not have confidence, adolescents who with drew from the envi roment, the teen against his parents and teens who are not biased to socialize well. This research aims to look at the external factors that influence the development of adolescent personality, factor from the aspects of the family environment (parenting parents), and environmental aspects of society. This research is descriptive gualitative research. This research was carried on using interview with key informants and observations 4 teenager peoples and 5 peoples additional informants from each key informant that teen parents, his sister, his neighbors, and the head of customs for dig deeper into the rules in the Jorong Melayu Palak Lawe Nagari Pasir Talang Kecamatan Sungai Pagu Kabupaten Solok Selatan. The accuracy of this data in the test by doing triangulation of data, from the data was analyzed in three stages: 1) data reduction, 2) presentation of data, 3) inference. The results obtained by the research findings that parenting parents giving freedom to teenagers without any advance directive that make parenting freedom to adolescent withont any advance directives so as to make them the freedom misrepresented, parenting parents were less well to adolescent by implementing regulations certain rules to adolescent without knowing their desires and expectation, parenting parents not liking teenager who do not heed again the norms and rules that apply in the community because they assume the rules mill hamper them in the association, the community environment that is less condive in supporting the development of adolescent personality because people are less concerued about the actions and behavior of teenagers and people who like to mock and also gossiping teenage behavior without reprimanding his actions.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of the communication function is not wellby teachers BK so that guidance and counseling services have not been going well. BK teachers cannot create intimate communication with others, especially with friends profession, yet skilledcounseling teacher communicates in organizing guidance and counseling services and BK yet lessskilled teachers communicate with learners. This research is descriptive quantitative. Sampling wasdone using stratified random sampling technique. This study took a sample of students who serve asthe primary respondents numbering 81 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire.As for the use of data analysis techniques percentage. The results of this study revealed that: BKteacher competence in communicating in organizing guidance and counseling services in terms ofinformation, dissemination and reactions are mostly located in the unfavorable category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a decline in the level of discipline of students against school rules in accordance with the phenomenon in the field of students out during hours of lessons, come late to school, unplug the clock when the lesson. This research aimed to describe: (1) description of the application of school rules on standard benchmark or common properties (2) description of the application of school rules in the benchmark or standard for a particular activity. This research is descriptive quantitative research population in this research were all students of Grade XI and XII at SMA PGRI 3 Padang academic year 2013/2014 which amounted 102 people, and samples were taken by using simple random sampling technique which amounted 50 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire, to analysis data by using techniques percentage. The findings result of the research: (1) The application of school rules in the benchmark or standard of general nature indicate that learners are applied fairly, (2 The application of school rules on benchmarks or standards for specific activities by learners fairly applied. From the result of research, then the school can make correction of the weaknesses of the school system to be updated by the school, the principal can evaluate the implementation of the rules through a meeting of the school community in order to create better discipline.

Abstract

The background of this research is the student’s play truant fenomenon at school. Thisresearch focused in an effective a personal counseling service in minimize the student’s playtruant in Semen Padang senior high school. The research in descriptive qualitative. The informantof the research are the counselor (3 person) and the students as a provement (3 students). Data ofthe research are collected by personal interview, documentative and descriptive analysis. Thetechnique based on primer and secunder data, while the data of analysis from field note and theresearch comment. The result of the research tell about a personal counseling service in minimizethe students play truant. The counselor activities to minimize the students play truant by apersonal counseling service in some steps: (1) Steps planning, the recapitulations all the databefore a personal counseling service. (2) Steps doing, doing the activities a personal counselingservice by using the personal techniques. (3) Steps evaluation, how to evaluate a personalcounseling service. (4) Steps revising, the activities to know the students play truant a personalcounseling service development.

Abstract

The research looked at the phenomenon of persistence of students who do not understandtheir learning styles in learning. This study aims to describe 1) visual learning styles, 2) auditorylearning style, 3) kinesthetic learning styles.The population in this study was tenth grade studentsof SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. Population are 281 people. The selected based on simple randomsampling technique. Samples are 74 people. Sources of data in this study are primary andsecondary. Technique of data collection is questionnaire and then processed using percentagetechniques.The results of this study revealed that the general profile learning styles of students intenth grade students of SMA Adabiah 2 Padang is on many criteria. Seen from each sub variabel:1). Visual learning styles is on many criteria, 2). Auditory learning styles is on many criteria, 3).Kinesthetic learning styles is on many criteria.

Abstract

This research was bosed of observation at SMA N 5 Padang about a teacher was stillhave a problem to encounter their students. The teacher always impatience to encountered theirstudents problems. Based on that fact, the researcher wants to know about: 1) minor stress,counselor to encounter their students problem in sman 5 padang, 2) middle stress, counselor toencounter their students problem in sman 5 padang, 3) serious stress, counselor to encountertheir students problem in sman 5 padang. This research was quantitative, a population are 8teachers counselor. Teacher as a sample this research, and the researcher use the total samplingtechnique which population as whole sample. questionnaire is an instrument which has 5 answersalternative. interval mean and percentage as data analysis. The result of the research are: 1)minor stress of the counselor are in middle level, 2) middle stress of the counselor are in middlelevel, 3) serious stress of the counselor are in middle level. The result of the research can be usefulto the counselor to increase their patience and to control their emotion and they can be aprofesional teacher. To the researcher as an information to increse his concept in his life.

Abstract

One of the activities carried learners in learning is communicating. In the learning processof students are less skilled in communicating and impact on learners learning activities. Based onthe above background, the formulated problems, relationship communication skills with learnerslearning activities in SMA N 2 Solok south. (1) describe the communication skills of high schoolstudents in South Solok N 2, (2) describe the activities of learners in South Solok SMA N 2, (3)the relationship of communication . This type of research is descriptive correlational study with apopulation of students of class X, XI and XII, amounting to 415 people and 81 samples. Samplingusing stratified random sampling technique.To analyze the data communication skills. whereashypothesis testing to see the relationship with the communication. The results of data analysis: (1)A description of communication skills profiles of high school students in South Solok N 2 is atwell with the percentage of 53.09%, (2) description of the activity profile of learners in SouthSolok SMA N 2 are in the category less well with the percentage of 54.32%, (3) Relationship withthe communication skills learning activity rhitung obtained for 0.401> of rtabel at 0,361 In 81 dfwith significance level of 0.000 (sig <0.05). So the results, the relationship betweencommunication skills with learners learning activities in SMA N 2 South Solok are at a significantlevel.

Abstract

This research focus on the requirement of students for counseling of their problems that have not been addressed by the guidance and counseling teachers.making student do not have the opportunity to obtain counseling services. The purpose of this study was to determined the level of requirement students towards guidance and counseling and activities.Descriptive quantitative study was conducted to 665 students in SMAN 4 Kerinci using statified simple random sampling method with 87 sample. Data was collectred by questionnaires and was analysis with percentage.Resulted analysis showed among 87 students, there were 46 students (52.87%) were urgently needed for guidance and counseling, 41 students (47. 13%) were in mid-level needed criteria and there were only 4 students (4.60%) were in low requirement for guidance and counseling services. Resulted analysis indicated that the requirement of the students in in SMAN 4 Kerinci for guidance and counseling services is very high and can be suggestion to the school to add more time for guidance and counseling services.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of teenagers who commit deviant behavior those contras with norms and rules in communities’ area. Based on the researcher observations on December, 7th 2013 is obtained information that they still have low morale, it looks from the teenagers who often sit and hold hand with their couple, impoliteness words, motor racing on the high way, and also they who ruin themselves such as suck the glue, consume the drugs, drinking alcohol, play dominoes, smoking, laying and theft. The purpose of this research was to determine: 1) The cause of decreased of the teenager’s moral, 2) Parent attempts to avoid decreased of the teenager’s moral. This research was descriptive text. The population in this research was teenagers in Nagari Lansek Kadok, district of Rao Selatan, Kabupaten Pasaman. The sampling is used proportional random sampling. The sample totaled 95 people. Data collection tool used a questionnaire, while the data analysis techniques using percentage analysis. The result of this research generally reveals that; 1) The cause of decreased of the teenager’s moral seen from troubled families is category of much, social media and the attitude of selfishness and materialism are included in the category of too much, 2) Parent attempts to avoid decreased of the teenager’s moral seen from they give confidence to the teenagers and teach religious education also have good communication with teenagers included in both categories.

Abstract

The backround of the research is the development of early childhood is to go through the process of toilet training do it by Mother. The purpose of this research was to determine and describe: a method / way of the implementing toilet training by mother to early childhood. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. That describes a method / way of the implementing toilet training by mother to early childhood. The key informants in this research is 3 person mothers, and the additional informants are father, grandmother and aunt from early childhood. Instruments that researchers use in this research use in this research is the interview. Techniques used in the processing of data through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results found that the way parents in training children when to urinate that is by introducing the term to “pipis” and terms “ook” or “uuk” to defecate. Children are invited to the bathroom only to defecate and bath, to urinate child still left in place haphazardly. If the child urinate or defecate in his pants, the pants just change the pants of the child. When finished defecating children are taught to wash the genitals area but not taught to wash their hands. In training the children defecating, the parents can to help by the other family members.
