This research is motivated by the problems experienced by the elderly to grow old. This study aimed to determine and describe the profile of the problems experienced by the elderly, with a focus on research that profiles the problems experienced by the elderly in the village RW.1 RT.1 Andalas Padang Padang District East in terms of the physical, psychological and social. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach that describes the symptoms, facts and reality on the ground as it is. The informants consisted of three key informants and six additional informant. The instruments used were observation, interview and documentation. Techniques used in data processing is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Results of the study revealed that the elderly have problems in serving his parents, because it was not ready for the old days with a variety of physical problems, psychological and social issues faced. Based on this research, it was recommended to the elderly as well as related parties to be able to overcome the problems found.

Background of this research was the counseling studentsâ barrier during teaching practice in the school. Based on observation that researcher done in STKIP PGRI on January 15th 2014, there were counseling students whose personal barriers and social barriers in teaching practice. The counseling studentsâ barriers were easily tired and dizzy, criticizing each other, and not compact during teaching practice. Moreover, the purposes of this research were to know the personal barriers and social barriers of counseling students in teaching practice.This research was quantitative descriptive. The population of this research were all counseling students that doing teaching practice at first semester academic year 2013. The population were 197 persons. From the population, the researcher chose 66 persons as sample by using insidental sampling technique. The instrument of this research was questionnaire. In addition, to analyze the data, researcher used percentage technique.The result of this research revealed about counseling studentsâ barriers of 2010 STKIP PGRI West Sumatera in teaching practice. The results of this research were 1) Personal barriers are in category of many obstacles; 2) Social barriers are in category of many obstacles. Based on the result of this research, the researcher suggests the counseling students to have a good personal and social readiness in teaching practice. For counseling department, the result of this research is as input for improving the quality of counseling students as teacher candidate. Furthermore, this research improves the researcherâ insight about personal barriers and social barriers of counseling student in teaching practice

This research is motivated by the presence of some young teachers who look sloppy, no young teachers who get angry when in the classroom, there are young teachers who are not serious in providing material services, there are young teachers who do not come to school on time, there was a young teacher who smoke around the school, there is a young teacher in making RPL confusion, there are young teachers who do not make a service program, there are young teachers who do not recognize learners. The purpose of this study describe: 1) Application of pedagogical competence by young teachers. 2) Application of personal competence by young teachers. 3) Implementation of social competence by a young teacher. 4) Application of the professional competence of the young teacher.This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with the entire student population of Guidance and Counseling 2010 which has completed the Practicum Field Experience in Implementing School in the academic year 2013/2014 which amounted to 197 and 66 samples. Sampling using incidental sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection in the form of a questionnaire. To analyze the data the application of Guidance and Counseling teacher competence by young teachers using percentage analysis techniques.The results of data analysis showed that: (1) The application of the pedagogic competence in the category applied. (2) Application of personal competence in the category applied. (3) The application of social competence in the category applied. (4) The application of professional competence in the category applied. So based on the results of research in general application of the competency of teachers Guidance and Counseling by a young teacher has been implemented well by the young teacher class of 2010 STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. The results of this study recommended to the young teacher, student of Guidance and Counseling, Guidance and Counseling studies program managers, and further research.

This research is motivated by the conditions encountered in the field that the implementation of group counseling Student Counseling Practice Field Experience is not in accordance with what is expected. This study aimed to describe the perceptions of students to: 1) The leader of the group 2) Members of the group and, 3) The benefits of group counseling services. This study is a quantitative descriptive research, the entire study population of learners who have conducted group counseling organized by the students of SMP N 12 PLLBK in Padang as many as 50 people. Samples were taken with a total sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire, while the data used for the analysis of the percentage formula. This research reveals generally be in good enough category. Furthermore, when seen perceptions of group members to the group leader in the category very well. Beyond the perception of the group members to other members in the category quite well and the group members perceptions of the benefits of group counseling services in the category quite well. Based on these results the researchers suggest to students next PPLBK that organizes counseling services with a better group to students in order to achieve the desired objectives and implementation is more effective.

This research was background by environment factor which is influence the maturity of teenager emotion. The purpose of this research to described : 1) family environment factor which is influencing teenager maturity emotion in social interaction at school, and 2) school environment which influence teenager maturity emotion in social interaction at school. This research used descriptive quantitative. Population of this research is 291 and sampling taken which is done is simple random sampling. This research take student as the sampling which as main respondent 69 students. The result stated that : 1) family factor which influence maturity of teenager emotion in many category of otoriter, allowance, comparing , and ambitious act which always forcing student, and democratic act. 2) school factor which influence maturity of teenager emotion in many category of positive thinking, empathy, and emotion controlling.

This research is motivated by a preliminary study of stress in nurses who work inhospitals, nurses who lack confidence in their work, nurses are lack of concentration, the presenceof a nurse who is emotionally much to ask if the patients family. This study describes the stressprofile of the nurses in the work seen: 1) psychological aspects, 2) physiological aspects. This typeof research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study amounted to 33persons. Sampling using total sampling. Data analyze is the percentage techniques. Results of thestudy revealed that the stress profile of nurses in working in high-risk installations (IGD, IBD,Perinatology) at Hospital (RSUD) Pariaman, generally at the high category. Judging from thepsychological aspects of stress at the high category and viewed from the aspect of physiologicalstress is at high enough categories.

This research is motivated by the conditions found in the field that the implementation of individual counseling is not good , because it is still the presence of learners who looks anxious , tense and counseling teacher scolding learners . This study aimed to describe : 1 ) Skills attending from the aspects of physical movement , 2 ) Skills attending from the aspects of eye contact , 3 ) Skills attending from the aspects of observing , and 4 ) Skills attending viewed from the aspect of listening. This research is descriptive quantitative . The study population was all students of class X and XI ever implement individual counseling in SMA 4 Bukittinggi , as many as 294 students . The techniques used in sampling are simple random sampling , a total of 33 students who are in class X and XI . The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire , while the data used for the analysis of the formulation of the criterion Sturgess . Results of research on the perception of the students attending skills in the implementation of individual counseling by teachers BK , generally categorized quite well . The results based subvariabelnya , namely 1 ) Skills attending from the aspects of physical motion categorized quite good , 2 ) Skills attending from the aspects of eye contact pretty well categorized , 3 ) Skills attending from the aspects of observing categorized quite well , and 4 ) Skills attending visits from the aspect of observing categorized quite well . Based on the results of the study authors suggested to teachers attending BK in order to apply skills in the implementation of individual counseling to students , so that counseling be delivered more effectively .

This research was background by the students that have personal problems, social and learning although they have followed group counseling. The purpose of this research is to describe the execution benefit of group counseling on solve: 1) Personal, 2) Social, 3) Learning. Type of this research is descriptive quantitative. Populations on this research are all students that ever to participate in group counseling activity with the number of the are 32 students. The sample of this research used technic total sampling. The tool was used to collect the data was formed enquette. Technique analyze the data using persentase technique. The result of this research found that the execution benefit of group counseling on solve: 1) Personal with enough useful category, 2) Social with useful category, 3) Learning with enough useful category. Where as the execution benefit of counseling group on solve students problems in generally reside at enough useful category.

Problem studied based on phenomenon in the field, there are the action of students SMPNegeri 25 Padang doing a violence repeated to other students, namely bullying. The purpose ofthis problem study was describ: 1. Understand of leaner about directly bullying. 2. Understand oflearner about indirectly bullying. This problem study was like quantitative descriptive researchthat describing about what happen really. The population of the problem study was all of SMP N25 PADANG student amount 750 people. The techniques of take sample was stratified randomsampling, take sample from each grade level, there are VII, VII, IX Class amount 88 people. Theinstrument used was a questionnaire and for data analysis was used percentage techniques. Resultof the study revealed that understanding of learners about bullying generally respondentunderstood criteria, And found the understood of learner still less with not understand enough tothe some aspects, there were understanding about bullying, seen to directly physical contact,indirect nonverbal attitude and cyber bullying.

This research is motivated because of the families of patients who have unstable emotions. Angry with the patients family health services provided by medical personnel, the patients family to see the state of excessive sadness the family or the patient being treated, the fear experienced by the patient because of the patients family has long cared for but does not go well, too concerned with the patients family health state of the patient. The purpose of this study describe: 1) The condition of negative emotions family medicine inpatients. 2) The condition of a family of positive emotions in internal medicine inpatients. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population numbered 28 people. Sampling using total sampling the number 28. The technique used to analyze the data is the percentage techniques. These results indicate that the negative emotional state family medicine inpatients in the category quite emotional with the percentage 60.71%. While a positive emotional state inpatient family medicine is in the category of emotion with the percentage of 75.00%. Based on the findings of this study recommended to the hospital in order to improve medical services and hospitals to the counselor to be able to create a program of services that can help families cope emotionally unstable patients.
