Abstract

This research was caused because of there are still many parents that were feel ashamed because of the unability of their children. Though they were actually also have many anique ability than the normal children. Besides, many parents are less of care in their children growth and hold on their children education to the school. For that needs to be seen the efforts of parents in the home to develop childrens creativity and cooperation from the parents and teachers. The research design was descriptif qualitatif approach describe the cause and effect, fact and reality about the effort of parents in improving the creativity of tunagrahita child in SLB YPPLB Padang.The sources of the research was parents, headmaster, tutor and teacher. The instument of this research was using interview and picture analysis. Techniques of data collection was using data reduction, data analysis and hypothesis of the research. The result of the interview stated that the effort of parents in improving their children creativity by giving the freedom of choosing the subject f children creativity, respecting their condition, building their emotional approach, appreciating their achievement and supporting them. The parents are also build the opportunity with the teacher by taking and giving the information of the children growth in school and supporting the school program especially related to the children creativity.

Abstract

Education has an important role in shaping the character of a nation that there areeducators and learners in it. While students are often seen come late to school, get out whenlearning activities held, do not listen when the teacher explains the lesson and do not make the taskthat given by the teacher, lazy in learning, did not participate in class, as well as learners are notindependent in the task given. It is shown that learners are not motivated to learn and interfere withlearning activities. This research describes the motivation of learners, learning activities andrelationships of students learning motivation and learning activities in class VIII students of SMPNegeri 17 Padang. The type of research is descriptive research with quantitative statistical analysiscorrelation with the population of class VIII students of SMP 17 Negeri Padang with thepopulation of 249 students in 71 samples. The sample that used was simple random technique. Theinstrument used for data collection in the form of a questionnaire. To analyze the data of learningmotivation and learning activities of learners using the kriterium Sturgess, while testing thehypothesis on the relationship between learning motivation and learning activities of learners usingthe Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula. The result of the study are: (1) the motivation oflearners are at strong enough category. (2) the learning activities of students in quite well category.(3) The relationship between learning motivation and learning activities of students.

Abstract

This research was caused by the excellent students’ class skill in building the socialrelationship in SMP N 12 Padang which have obstacle at school environment with others students orteachers. The purposes of this research were to describe how is the profile of social relationship ofexcellent class in school environment with same age students and teachers. This research wasqualitative research with descriptive study which describe the signs, fact and reality that comes as inthe field about social relationship of excellent class in SMP N 12 Padang. The informants of thisresearch were 3 students of excellent class, 3 students of regular class, 3 class advisors or teachers andcounselor. The instrumentation used in this research is interview. The techniques used in processingdata were reduction data, presenting data and making conclusion. The result of this research showedthat excellent class students have obstacle in doing social relationship at school environment withsame age students in excellent class and also with students in regular class. The location of excellentclass and regular class is far and it caused both of students have bad social relationship because theyoften to communicate each other in school environment. Besides, the excellent class students alsohave obstacle in doing social relationship with the teachers in school environment, so this conditioncaused the closeness of students and teacher insufficient.

Abstract

This research was caused by existence of students of exceptional needs who haveproblem in having socialization. Focus and purpose of this research are how the role of conselor inhelping the achievement of development function of students who have exceptional needs inhaving socialization at school environment with peer friend and having socialization appropriatewith gender’s role. This research was done by using qualitative research with descriptive. Theinformant of this research was counselor, uncommon counselor, students’ vice of headmaster andthe students with exceptional needs. The instrumentation that is used in this research was interviewand study of documentation. The researcher used reduction data, presenting data and makingconclusion as the technique of processing data. The result of this research showed that the roles ofcounselor in helping the achievement of development function of students who have exceptionalneeds in having socialization at school environment with peer friend were giving service aboutsocial skill, grouping the students in self development activity which is appropriate with theirspecialty, guiding the students to understand the concept life of democratic. The roles of counselorin helping the achievement of development function of students who have exceptional needs inhaving socialization appropriate with gender’s role were giving service about gender’s role, doingthe activity which support guidance and counselling like appearance of literature, inviting thestudents to observe social life that involve social role between man and woman in society.

Abstract

The background of this research using educative participant keeping not active in osis there are fromth haven’t social interaction, while the active student in their organization have better social interactionin the school, the purpose of this research is to describe; 1) the social interaction of student who hasfollowed a organization 2) the student social interaction who hasn’t follow a organization 3) thedifferences social interaction of student who has followed is hasn’t follow a organization. The type ofthis research atended quantitative research . and population in this research is students grade X and XI inSMA N 1 tarusan who has followed and who hasn’t follow social interaction OSIS,samples of thisresearch are students who has followed a organization amounting to 75 people and who hasn’t followamounting to 75 people. This research used to pull of sampel by purposive sampling. source of data inthis research are primary data and data of scunder used a instrument, while technique analyse data usedpercentage formula. The result of this research indicating that 1) social interaction between student whohas followed organization in verygood category, 2) the social interaction of student who hasn’t followorganization in good category 3) there are significant differences between student social interaction whohas followed organization with hasn’t follow organization.

Abstract

Family is education forum which have big effect toward students development.Therefore, students education can not separate with their family because family is the first forumto students learn. The aim of the research is describing about parents attention toward their childeducation, result of their lesson, correlation between parents attention toward students result inlearning. Types of research is correlational research. In other words the primary purpose of thisresearch to interpret a result or determine correlation between variable wich is studying. Theinstrument of the research is questionnaire. Referring of research finding and discussion, theresearcher conclude there are significant correlation between parents attetion with students resultof lesson at first grade of SMA Negeri 9 Padang, r hitung = 0,312 and r tabel 0,214 df 58 insiginificant level 0,05, validity= 95 %. It is mean that, r hitung ≥ r tabel.

Abstract

Background of this research is there are parents who do not pay attention teenagers education that cause the teenagers drop out school, the parents who pay less attention to teenagers interactions. This research aimed to describe: 1) Teenager perceptions toward parenting of democratic parents. 2) Teenager perceptions toward parenting of authoritarian parents. 3) Teenager perceptions toward parenting of laissez faire parents. This research was descriptive quantitative. The population of this research were the teenagers in Jorong Lubuk Harto Kenagarian Koto Salak Kecamatan Koto Salak Kabupaten Dharmasraya which were 40 people. In choosing the sample, the researcher used total sampling. The instrument was questionnaire. In addition, the researcher analyzed the data by using percentage formula. The results of this research showed that: 1) teenager perceptions about parenting of democratic parents were in good category. 2) teenager perceptions about parenting of authoritarian parents were in good category. 3) teenager perceptions about parenting of laissez faire parents were in good category.

Abstract

This research was caused by obstruction of guidance and counselling teacher in facing the autisticstudents that ensue the disturbance of physique and psychological health such as feel fatigued, irritationof skin, asthma, the illness of heart, migraine, anxiety, restless, wrathfulness, hostility, can not think welland mental depression. This research focused on to know the stress description of guidance andcounselling teacher in facing the autistic students which is seen from physique and psychological aspectof guidance and counselling teacher in SMK N 4 Padanng. This research was qualitative research withdescriptive approach which describe the indication, fact and reality that comes as in the field about stressdescription of guidance and counselling teacher in facing the autistic students. The informant of thisresearch was three guidance and counselling teachers, two other subject teachers and four autisticstudents. The instrument of this research used interview and observation. The techniques that are used inprocessing data were reduction data, presenting data and making conclusion. The result of this researchwas: (a) stress descriptions of guidance and counselling teacher from physic aspect are the guidance andcounselling teacher often feel fatigued when the students difficult to manage, shocked when the teacherhear autistic students scream and angry uncontrolled, also often feel dizzy when the autistic students didnot want to learn. (b) Stress descriptions of guidance and counselling teacher from psychological aspectare the guidance and counselling teacher often feel anxious and restless when the autistic students hit theirfriends.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the constraints experienced tutors in fostering mentally disabled foster children in the mild and moderate Panti Sosial Bina Grahita Harapan Ibu Kalumbuk Padang. This aims to describe: 1) efforts made in developing counselor mild mentally disabled children, 2) the efforts made in developing counselor mentally disabled children were. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach is, that describes the symptoms, facts and reality in the field what it is about the effort in fostering mentor foster children. The informants were: mentor, head panti and head kasi. The instrument used in this study were interviews. Data processing techniques are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the interviews have been analyzed revealed that 1) efforts in fostering a child counselor tuna grahita light. In speaking, in a way that is easily understood as sign language, in terms of placement assessment assessment to see where lies the childs wishes and given the availability of special programs for childrens independence. 2) guidance in their efforts to foster children tuna grahita moderate. In terms of easy to understand language like sign language and pointed directly in directing, in terms of placement of the child should be assessed to see where the location assessment of aptitude and interest to be channeled in a skill area and the availability of special programs, should be given to the childs independence as coach children continuously and repeatedly.

Abstract

This research is parent who are experiencing problem in educating teenagers. The focus of the research: 1) The moral aspect and 2) The psychological aspect. Qualitative research, the informants are: parents teenagers (father and mother) and teenagers sister. The instruments is interview and documentation in the form attached photos, the technique of data through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The result of this research is parent have problems in educating teenagers: 1) The moral aspect is the parents who have not been able to steer teenagers well than peers attitudes teenagers parents make it difficult to steer teenagers that teenagers attitude could change into a better direction and 2) The psychological aspects is the parents who have not been able to control emotions of teenagers and teenagers who are able to alleviate directives given to teenagers parents so that teenagers ignored the directives given to teenagers parent
