Abstract

The use of Isrā’Ä«liyyāt in interpretation is still questioned. However, Isrā’Ä«liyyāt has colored several commentaries' works, including Tafsir Nusantara. One of which is Tafsir al-Ibriz. Using the Javanese language and Pegon writing as the interpreter's selected language and introduction writing is one of the interpretation's distinctive features. Historically, Isrā’Ä«liyyāt is frequently found in bi al-ma'tsur interpretations. Still, it turns out that the dominating al-Ibriz Tafsir ra'yi is also found by Isrā’Ä«liyyāt, which has its peculiarities in its application and relation to the sociocultural context of writing. This study employed library research using qualitative approaches. Tafsir al-Ibrz was the main data source. In contrast, the secondary sources included journals and others. Documentation strategies were used in the analytical methodology. It also used the content analysis method of Norman Fairclough's discourse analysis methodology. In this research, the Isrā’Ä«liyyāt sample accounts for Ashhab al-Kahf, Prophet Noah's Ark, and Luqman's identity. According to the findings of this study, Al-Ibriz's Tafsir includes Isrā’Ä«liyyāt and then comments on the advantages and suggestions that can be followed. Regarding its sociocultural context, Tafsir al-Ibriz was composed amid Javanese society's social culture, which is still saturated with the tradition of believing in ancestors and the love of stories. The narrative of Isrā’Ä«liyyāt described in this study is a sociological strategy meant to lead individuals away from their ancestral/mystical beliefs and toward the Qur’an.

Abstract

The Islamic cleric, through religious forums managed structurally and culturally, is considered one of the essential variables in coloring the perspective of the Lamongan North Coast community amid the emergence of radicalism, which later provided intense penetration. Through the religious pulpit of NU and Muhammadiyah Islamic clerics on the North Coast of Lamongan, it promotes the importance of tolerance values of religious moderation and balance of perspectives as a counter-discourse to the narrative of radicalism that threatens the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia. While on the other hand, Muhammadiyah Islamic clerics, through religious forums, also often promote al-Ma'un theology as a teaching of compassion for the poor and Mustadh'afin in the North Coast of Lamongan. It began to emerge in various Halaqah managed by radical groups.

Abstract

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) campaigns on various social media are getting more massively echoed by pro-LGBT groups. The LGBT community channels their creativity and expression to gain recognition and acceptance from netizens through Instagram, Tiktok, and other social media. Responding to this phenomenon, Indonesia, as a Muslim-majority country, in article 85 of the Family Resilience Bill, defines LGBT as an act of sexual deviance. As the science of law in Islam, Fiqh does not only talk about the halal and haram of a job. Law provisions prevent deviations from the occurrence of human roles and functions based on their nature. Thus, the authors examine the construction of fiqh law to prevent and raise the grasp of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) people on social media. This study employed a sociological approach to Islamic law based on phenomenological and literature studies. The results of this study indicate: (1) massive campaigns and LGBT hegemony in social media harm the sociocultural orientation of future generations, (2) the legal construction of fiqh al-ḥaḍarah as a solution in providing awareness and prevention of LGBT campaigns on social media, (3) there is a spirit of collaboration between the concept of fiqh al-ḥaḍarah and positive law in Indonesia in preventing and arousing LGBT campaigns in social media.

Abstract

Reciting Ayat Hirzi wa Hirsi regularly positively impacts both physical and psychological well-being. It shows that the Qur’an is more than just a book to lbe read. The Qur’an  is also a tool for treatment in society, whether medical, non-medical, or psychological. By using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation along with Karl Mannheim's sociology of knowledge about objective, expressive, and documentary, this article seeks to understand how students reacted to Mifathul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding school’s recitation of the Ayat Hirzi wa Hirsi. The students are thus instructed secretly by mbah yai to recite Ayat  Hirzi wa Hirsi at each dawn prayer. In terms of its objective meaning, it is a way of being aware of one's status as a santri or student. While expressively, it is understood as a medium for treatment, spiritual, psychological, and physiological therapy. Meanwhile, in the documentary, students are motivated to receive blessings.

Abstract

This study explains the meaning of ta’awun siyasi (political cooperation) which is usually carried out by party elites ahead of executive elections. Party elites see ta’awun siyasi not just an election rule but part of a political strategy to boost party votes during elections. In fact, there is great hope from ta’awun siyasi, but the results sometimes don’t go as desired because the impact of the coalition’s tail coat is not worth the energy expended. On the other hand, there is a communication ethic that is sometimes overlooked in addition to neglected siyasi  fiqh  norms.  The  main  problem  of  this  research  study  is how to reconcile the essential meaning of ta’awun siyasi with the ethics of coalitionalism in the style of party elites while still upholding  the  principles  of  democracy  and  siyasi  fiqh  with  the historical basis of the 2019 election coalition as a reference for the upcoming 2024 election. This study is a qualitative research that is descriptive in nature describing material objects with an analytical  knife  from  the  theory  of  democracy  and  fiqh  siyasi. The main data sources are interviews, questionnaires and other documents. The results of the study found that the true meaning of ta’awun siyasi describes sincerity and sincerity, partiality for the good  and  benefit  of  the  public  even  though  sometimes  political party elites are more entangled in purely pragmatic interests. The main principles of fiqh siyasi such as the concepts of siyasa ”˜adilah, haibah siyasasiyah, istishlah al-’ammah, siyasat al- dunya wa hirasat al-din must become a frame in building group communication.

The concept of ijarah itself was practiced in early Islamic era and continues to be practiced today in various contemporary financial transactions. This study aims to review the process of transforming ijarah principles to the development of their varieties, as well as related legal and regulatory provisions as a basis for implementation in the development of financing products in Islamic banking and finance. This research was a qualitative research using a literature study approach with descriptive analysis. This study concludes that several texts from the al-Qur'an and Sunnah explain the concept of ijarah and its permissibility according to sharia. Nash explains at least two types of ijarah, namely ijarah in service and asset leases. Both were revealed in the provisions contained in the KHES, PBI, as well as several DSN MUI fatwas. Abstract

Theoretically, Islamic doctrines can adapt to the situation and conditions of reality. However, in Islamic history, it isn't easy to find studies about the importance of establishing a relationship with nature or the environment in which that reality stands. This research offers a paradigm that bridges the new relationship between humans and the environment. At this level, the author builds a paradigm with a multidisciplinary approach. Methodologically, maqa>s}id al-shari>'ah is used as a paradigm foundation and umbrella for human actions when responding to their environment. This study found that the maqa>s}id al-shari>'ah-based eco-spiritual paradigm is embodied in spiritual actions in the form of sacralization and ecological contemplativeness. Explicatively, sacralization and ecological contemplativeness are applied based on the principles of Islamic ethics, al-insija>m (harmony), al-iqtis}a>d (equality), al-ta'a>nu>q (interdependency), and al-tanz}i>f (cleaning).

This study argues that Ahmadiyya in Sintang has encountered forms of discrimination against the rights to religious freedom in Indonesia. Thus, this study formulates research questions such as (1) what is the chronology and form of persecution against Ahmadiyya? (2) what is the role of actors in discriminating against the Ahmadiyya minority group in West Kalimantan? (3) What is the policy on religious freedom toward the Ahmadiyya minority group in West Kalimantan? This study employed qualitative methods to describe the chronology of Ahmadiyya events in West Kalimantan through interviews and documentation.
