Abstract

ABSTRACT. The purpose of this study to determine the number of allocations People's Business Credit ( KUR ) By Broiler Breeder Laying on Bank Rakyat Indonesia ( BRI ) Unit Amparita Sidenreng Rappang for farm business , and to determine the perception of farmers on Public Credit utilization by laying chicken breeder Bank Rakyat Indonesia Unit Amparita Sidenreng Rappang . This research was carried out during this study was conducted from June to July 2013, in the villages in the area of Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Unit Amparita Sidenreng Rappang, namely: Village Tanete, Allakkuang Village, Village Takkalasi, Arateng village, village Pulu Toddang, Village Amparita, Teteaji Village, Village Polewali, Pajalele Village, Village Baula, Massepe Village, and the Village Teppo in Sidenreng Rappang. This research is descriptive quantitative research, which is a type of research that describes or depicts a study phenomena such or discuss the relationship between the variables without seeing one another variable, the variable in this study was the effectiveness of the utilization of the People's Business Credit (KUR) by a chicken farmer laying on the People's Bank Amparta Unit, Sidenreng Rappang. Most of the farmers use chicken laying Public Credit as venture capital, although there are someamong breeders use to kosumtif , The higher number of Public Credit obtained eat the more the farmers who use it for business capital , the level of effectiveness of Public Credit utilization by farmers chicken laying on Bank Rakyat Indonesia unit Amparita Effective means Sidenreng is mostly laying chicken farmers use small loans for farm business development as expected by the Bank , the level of perception of the use of business credit with Bank Rakyat Indonesia unit Amparita by broiler breeder laying with a score of 616.Based on the basic assumption of class intervals and class range, with a score of Effective category which is in the interval ( 549.8 to 679.4  .

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Research has been conducted to determine the Factors Affecting Purchase Amount at Market Broiler Eggs Eggplant, Makassar. Held on August 10, 2013 until the date of 12 September 2013 in the Market Eggplant, Makassar. This research is a kind of explanatory Quantitative Study is the type of research that look at the effect of one variable with another variable and to test hypotheses and data sources used are primary data and secondary data, then using multiple linear regression method. The results obtained show that the price, quality of eggs, quality of service, revenue, and number of family members simultaneously significant effect on the amount of purchase eggs, but in partial service quality does not significantly influence the amount of the purchase eggs at the Market Eggplant, Makassar City.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Shell of commercial capsule (CC) is generally made of gelatin from skin or bone of cows and pigs, while the capsule shell made from goat skin is not widely publicized. This study aims to determine the properties shell of hard capsules of gelatin from Bligon goat skin. The gelatin from male Bligon goat skin (GBGS), glycerol, MgCO, tapioca and sago starch were used as main materials, and than shell of CC number zero was used as a control. The Simplex Lattice Design method was used to prepare formula of shell. Anumber 10 g of GBGS + 9 g of glycerol + 22 mg of MgCO3 + 5.5 mg of tapioca starch + 72.1 mg of sago starch were used as formula of capsule shell. An uniformity weight of shell (average, deviation and coefficient of variation) and than disintegration time (coefficient of variation) were used as parameter of this study. The data of this study were analyzed by descriptively with shell of CC as control. The results showed that the average of weight and disintegration time of shell from GBGS higher than CC. The solubility (dissolution) of active ingredient (paracetamol) on shell from GBGS has maximum percentage of 95.85% with dissolution in the thirty minute, and therefore has been declared the eligibility criteria of dissolution by the British Pharmacopeae 2007.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT. This study was conducted in October-November 2013. Located in laboraty of Integrated Animal Production Techonology Faculty of Science and Technology Alauddin State Islamic University of Makassar. This study aimed to determine the effect of ginger extract and liquid smoke and the length of marinated salted egg on the quality of salted egg. The research method was based on the completely randomized design (CRD) with the general pattern 5 x 3 with 3 replications the treatments were: Factor A, The concentration of 1. ginger extract (0 %) + liquid smoke (0 %), 2. ginger extract (0 %) + liquid smoke (10 %), 3. ginger extract (10 %) + liquid smoke (0 %), 4. ginger extract (0 %) + liquid smoke (20 %), 5. ginger extract (20 %) + liquid smoke (0 %). Factor B, Period of marinated salted egg, 1. (6 days), 2. (8 days), 3. (10 days). Data was analyzed by analysis of variance using a completely Randomized Rancanagan (CRD) based the of consistend, 8 parameters of egg quality tested using the Least Significant Difference Test (BNT). Based on the analysis of variance showed that the addition of ginger extract (Zingiber Officinale) and liquid smoke (Liquid Smoke) can affect the value of the depth of the air cavity (P<0,05) and the value of fat (P<0,01).

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study was carried out considering the free-range chicken farmers who undertake the cultivation, have different backgrounds in terms of the number of free-range chicken, the farmers’ experience, education and venture capital as well as the knowledge of the qualification of free-range chicken to be raised which at last will impact the increased revenue for the farmers. Due to those different backgrounds, the purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the business, and the income contribution of thedomestic poultry against the farmers. In order to answer the eligibility and income provided by the domestic poultry broiler flocks, the approach used is through an interview method to 20 respondents which is the primary data. Data based on the interview from 20 respondents, is then analysed using analysis model Pd = TR - TC and analysis used eligibility formula Revinue Per COSH (R/C). Based on the research analysis, it can be concluded that raising free-range chicken as many as 100, 300, 500 and 1000 will provide income for the farmers. The most efficient and effective way is by raising 300 free-range chicken according to the feasibility study with R / C = 1.51. Therefore, the result of this study is able to be recommended to those who has the intention to breed the free-range chicken, particularly to the domestic poultry broiler breeders in Bungungloe Village, Turatea District, Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The aim of this research was to know the level of adoption of cattle farmers to the use of biogas in Bone Regency,South Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted for two month started from April 2013 until May 2013 in Libureng Disctrict, Bone Regency. Population covered all cattle farmers, while sample of this research were member of farmers groups namaley Lakeppang and Turu Adae who name been trained about how to make biogas. The research revealed that the level of adoption of cattle farmers to the using of biogas was stilllows so farmers need more intensif extention and using biogas.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This research was conducted in September s.d October 2013 . Housed in Laboratory Animal Products Technology, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Hasanuddin University, Makassar. This study aimed to determine the effect of immersion time 10 % liquid smoke concentration and storage time on the quality of beef longissimus dorsi muscle bali (has outside). The research methodology is based on completely randomized design (CRD) with a general pattern that is 4 x 4 with 3 replications, Composition of treatment as follows: Factor I is a Long Soaking with A1 (0 minutes), A2 (30 minutes), A3 (60 minutes), A4 (90 minutes). Factor II is the long storage with B1 (0 weeks), B2 (1 weeks), B3 (2 weeks) and B4 (3 weeks). Data were analyzed by analysis of variance using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 6 parameters of meat quality testing using the Least Significant Difference Test (BNT).Based on the results of various analysisand discussion, it can be concluded that the long soaking liquid smoke did not significantly affect the quality of meat while the storage time affects the quality of meat.

Abstract

ABSTRACT.This study aims to investigate the characteristics of Tedong Bonga that determine it’s prices in the Market Animal Bolu North Toraja Regency. The research was conducted for approximately one month starting from the month of May to June 2013 in the Market Animal Bolu, District Tallunglipu, North Toraja Regency. Type of research was descriptive quantitative with Deplhi methods. This type of data wass qualitative and quantitative. Sources of data are primary and secondary data. The results indicate characteristic stripes that the highest selling price in the Market Animal striped buffalo Bolu.
