Buletin Plasma Nutfah (BPN) is an open access scientific journal published by The Indonesian Center for Agricultural Biotechnology and Genetic Resources Research and Development (ICABIOGRAD), The Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development (IAARD), Ministry of Agriculture. This peer-refereed journal covering the area of genetic resources including exploration, characterization, evaluation, conservation, diversity, traditional knowledge, management and policy / regulation, of all kinds of genetic resources: plants, animals, fishes, insects and microbes. Manuscripts submitted to this journal are those that have never been published in other journals. This journal is published in one volume of two issues per year (June and December). We invite authors to submit the manuscripts to this journal in English or Indonesian. Abstract

Pohon gemor (Nothaphoebe coriacea Kosterm) merupakan salah satu pohon endemik yang tumbuh di hutan rawa gambut, yang keberadaannya semakin terancam punah karena diambil kulitnya untuk bahan baku insektisida. Penelitian autekologi gemor telah dilakukan di kelompok hutan Sungai Kahayan-Sungai Sebangau, Kalimantan Tengah pada bulan Oktober 2020, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan potensi di habitat alamnya. Pengumpulan data menggunakan plot bujur sangkar ukuran 20 m × 20 m, jumlah satuan contoh sebanyak lima plot per lokasi dan diulang dua kali, sehingga terdapat total 10 plot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan fisik pohon gemor pada suhu antara 25–35°C dan kelembapan udara antara 52–76%. Jenis tumih (Combretocarpus rotundatus [Miq.] Danser) berasosiasi paling kuat dengan gemor, diikuti gelam tikus (Syzygium zeylanicum [L.] DC.) dan enyak berok (Baccaurea polyneura Hook.f.). Vegetasi dominan di sekitar gemor adalah tumih (C. rotundatus), gelam tikus (S. zeylanicum), dan enyak berok (B. polyneura). Regenerasi alami gemor (N. coriacea) di kelompok hutan Sungai Kahayan-Sungai Sebangau tidak normal karena gangguan dari manusia dalam bentuk pemanfaatan kulit pohonnya.
