Abstract

This research aims to explain the interest of Indonesia implement tax amnesty in 2016-2017. Currently, taxes are the dominant source of state budget. Almost 70% of state revenue comes from the tax sector. However, the tax collection system in Indonesia has not been able to run well. This has resulted in a lack of tax revenues that can be used for state development. In order to increase tax revenue, Indonesia implements tax amnesty policy. The policy is valid since its enactment on July 2016 that is with the issuance of Law no. 11 of 2016.Data of this research was obtained from books, journals, articles, official documents and websites that support the hyphothesis. The author used Neo-merkantilism approach by Robert Gilpin. The theories used in this research concist of International Relations and Economic Growth by Harrod-Domar, and National Interest by Hans J. Morgenthau.The result of this research shows that there is an economic politic interest of in the implementation of tax amnesty policy in 2016-2017. With the adoption of this policy, Indonesia can improve its taxation data base and reform it, which is a taxation politic to participate in Automatic Exchange of Information (AEoI) cooperation in the section of taxation. A good taxation database will also increase tax revenues.Keywords: Tax, Tax Amnesty, National Interest

Abstract

The objective of this research is to understand Indonesia's Steps to Facing theEU's Demands for Indonesia's Biodiesel Disposal in 2013. Indonesia is the world'sleading biofuel exporter, even 90% of EU biodiesel imports from Indonesia.However, the EU claims that Indonesia has sold biodiesel to EU members at a pricebelow their normal value. According to EU investigations, the imposition ofadditional import duties for biodiesel industry in the European Union has beenimpaired by biodiesel imports from Indonesia and ArgentinaThis research is theoretically created by taking into account Liberalism'sperspective on International Relations and is supported by Adam Smith's AbsoluteExcellence theory. The formulation of all the theoretical arguments, facts, andframeworks in this study is guided by qualitative explanatory methods. The techniquein this research is through literature study. Data are obtained and collected fromjournal books, the last thesis and then from the internet related to the problem.Researchers found that Indonesia's Step Facing EU Demands Against DumpingIndonesian Biodiesel Product In 2013 through EU lawsuit to World TradeOrganization. Indonesia demanded the European Union through the World TradeOrganization (WTO) secretariat on June 10, 2014 and requests for consultationswith the WTO's Dispute Settlement Agency (DSB) as a third party. The governmentthrough the Ministry of Trade also sent a letter of objection to the European Unionon the decision. A letter of objection will be sent to the embassy in Jakarta. Abstract

When a person has reached a ripe old age, and the children had already formed his own family, is off the responsibility on them, and he returned more free independent as at the time of his marriage permula. Obligations of parenting, finance, educate and supervise children no longer he did. Therefore, the problems of the elderly should be a concern of all of us, good government, public institutions as well as the community itself increasingly aging her age a person then they increasingly need a place to take cover and get the love Dear primarily from the family itself. But in reality many of the elderly which is deposited by his own family to the Workhouses, how social relationships with family, and anything like a funeral in feel elderly living in nursing, and even factors among those who are displaced. The problem in this study i.e., what are the factors or issues so that the elderly who still there is this family entrusts to nursing homes and also how much capacity the elderly in workhouses. In this study four elderly people who leave her family to the PSTWKK in Soweto who became the subject of the research because of economic problems, it does not wish to hassle family, the existence of a conflict or problem or misunderstanding with family, and also because it did not want the family to take care of her anymore. Liked or nice elderly living in nursing because of the availability of all facilities of the parlors and grief or sad because much of the family.Key Words: Elderly, Families, Nursing Homes

Abstract

Women position in society more often seen as a graceful, loving and emotional figure, weak, and on some society embedded a concept that women was an object, not as an subject as like as men. Until now still many region that despise at women and assume degree of women not equal to men, just like some society with patriarki cultures, women positioned as housekeeper, they are not allowed to work outside of the home. With this restrained condition without space to grow up, its hard for women to enlarge their knowledge and their talent. Women’s struggle to gain their rights and from sex discrimination known as feminism. Feminism was women effort and struggle to refused to be subordinate and be degraded by dominant culture for in terms of politic, economic, social, or cultural side. This research using Roland Barthes semiotic analysis that review meaning of denotation, meaning of conotation, and myth from film. Purpose of this research is to know denotation meaning of feminism, conotation meaning of feminism, and myth in the film Siti.Methode used in this research is qualitative deskriptive with Roland Barthes semiotic analysis. Data collection using documentation, obsevation, and study of literature. This research located at Pekanbaru. Dana analysis technique using Roland Barthes Semiotic that examine meaning.Result of this research shown meaning of denotation, meaning of conotation, and semiotic myth from the film Siti. Denotation meaning seen from this film clearly shows feminism thought which women can change perception of society, its indicated from dialogue, women character behavior from this film tell that women are also strong and independent being. Meaning of conotation seen by Siti behavior from smoking and drinking alcohol, tell that women are also free to do whatever they want, they also can make decisions with their minds and not depent on men. Semiotic myth in society as well as women that often go out at night is naughty women, or else women must obey to their husband, should not argue anything said by their husband. Also ideology by society with east culture like Indonesia, always assume that women position behind men position. This film dismissed myth and ideology and perception that long-established inside those society. Women with feminism thought in the film shown with strong character, independent, and have freedom for their own mind and body.Keyword : representation, feminsm, semiotic

Abstract

panai is money given by the groom to the family of the bride. Money panaiis intended for shopping wedding. Money panai has a very important role and is one ofthe pillars in the customary marriage of the Bugis tribe, especially in the community ofSungai Guntung Kecamatan Kateman District Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau. The purposeof this research is to see the meaning of traditions of cash money in middle and uppermiddle to middle bussiness community in Sungai Guntung Kateman District, want toknow the meaning of symbols contained in traditions of cash money, and the valuescontained in traditions of cash money on people Bugis tribe in Sungai Guntung DistrictsKateman regency Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau.The method of this research is qualitative, data collection techniques useobeservation, interview and documentation. In-depth interviews were conducted with theinformens of this research are Customary, Tradisional and Community Traders, usingthe snowball method of collecting data starting from several people who meet the criteriato be a member of the sample. To confirm the validity of this research data is done throughextension of participation and triangulation of data.The results of this indicate that the meaning of tradisions of cash monay in SungaiGuntung Kateman District is a cultural core, where a difficult to change. Currency moneypanai to give prestige for the family of women if the amount of money panai’ which inpeg is able to be met by the prospective groom. In terms of its function of money panai isa gift for the bride as the cost of a wedding reception. The value of cash money is largelydetermined by the status of social status of women in society, such as educatoin, familyeconomy, physical perfection, job title and descent. In addition to the money in the panaitradition is also aquipped with various equipment symbols such as rice, ginger andturmeric, a piece of cloth, wood, needles, betel, and cinnamon. Of the attributes of theaccompaniment of the cash money symbolizes the life of the household of the Bugis tribehaving certain meanings.

Abstract

Goriau.Com is one of the online media with the highest rating version alexa.com and also the fastest media in giving information. In the process of seeking information, GoRiau.com’s journalists are required to be able covering, searching and processing the news coverage their duties. But here researchers find the practice of news plagiarism on Goriau.com. This study aims to find out how the Professionalism of GoRiau.com’sJournalist in covering the online media news and to understand the obstacle for the journalists in covering the online media News.This study used descriptive qualitative method, conducted in GoRiau.com online media, Jalan Surya KartamaAgung 4A Pekanbaru. Determining the subjects conducted through purposive sampling techniques the number of subjects in this study as many 9 (nine) people, consisting of editor-in-chief GoRiau.com, four journalists GoRiau.com, chairman of unity journalists Indonesia (PWI) pekanbaru city, senior journalists reporter Indonesia (PWI) and two readers. Data analysis model miles and hubarman. Data collection technique is done by observation, interview and documentation. The theory used is social responsibility and the concept of journalistic code of ethics article 2.In thid research, found 2 (two) research result. The first not all journalists of GoRiau.com are professional in the covering of online media news. Second, some obstacles occur in the coverage causing journalists to be unprofessional in performing their duties. This happened to some GoRiau.com’s journalists who were in the local area. The quality of journalists' ability, personality and integrity of journalists as well as the limited number of journalists became an obstacle which caused some local journalists become an obstacly in it self that causes unprofessional in carrying out its duties.Keywoard: Professionalism, Journalist, Covering, Online Media

Abstract

The ratification of Agreement between Singapore and The Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu on Economic Partnership (ASTEP) is worth to be examined. In one hand, Republic of China in Taiwan since its establishment has difficult situations in the international affairs by the fact that it doesn’t have political status as a country by de jure and by the One China Policy provided by Mainland China gives pressures to countries which have intention to make relationship with Taiwan. In the other hand, Singapore is a country that holding the One China Policy, since it have diplomatic relations to People’s Republic of China, and currently doesn’t have any formal diplomatic relation with Taiwan.This research has structured with the perspective of Neo-liberalism and supported with Cooperation Theory and then applied the concept of Interdependency. Formulation of all arguments, facts, and theoretical framework are guided by qualitative explanation methods. Scope of this research is Taiwan economic strategies within ASTEP along Singapore which is considered as nation-state in the methodology of International Relations.The Researcher has presented the result in this paper which explain why Taiwan making a bilateral trade agreement with Singapore and how Taiwan using its status and name as the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu instead of its official name Republic of China. This research has revealed the strategy of Taiwan to get involved in Asia Pacific Region’s trade affairs, and establish more of free trade agreements with other countries in Asia Pacific.Kata kunci: Free Trade Agreement, Bilateral Economic Partnership, Republic of China, Taiwan, Singapore, ASTEP, Asia Pacific.

Abstract

The performance of Riau Provincial Youth and Sports Office in Increasing Athletic Sports Facilities and Infrastructure, one of which is to establish an educational container and guidance of talented student athlete which is a form of Act Number 3 of 2005 on National Sport System. The Center for Student Education and Training (PPLP) aims to achieve sporting achievement seeds to participate in a tiered and sustainable nationwide sports competition. The purpose of this research is to find out the performance of youth and sport service of riau province, as well as the obstacles faced in fostering the achievement of athletes of Center for Education and Training of Students (PPLP).The method used in this study was conducted with qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation related to research objectives. as well as literature techniques and all information collected, analyzed, and studied in order to become a unified whole. The location of this research is Department of Youth and Sports ofRiau Province, that is institution responsible in Enhancement of Sport Facility and Athletic Infrastructure.Result of Research Show, Performance of Department of Youth and Sports of Riau Province inthe promotion of sports facilities and infrastructure is still quite minimal and also Funding has been the main thing has not implemented optimal performance, which impacts such as the absence of health services, exercise transport, and exercise tools as well.Keywords: Organization, Performance, Sport Facilities and Infrastructure.

Abstract

This research, entitled the Communication Strategy Ministry of Religion of the Implementation of BSM Program. The purpose of this research was to determine the Communication Strategy Ministry of Religion of the Implementation of BSM program.This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation study, by researchers as a key instrument. The sending technique in this research using purposive sampling that researches pointed directly informant who was supposed to provide accurate information. Test the validity of data is done with reliability testing and validity testing. Descriptive analysis of the result obtained by triangulation strategy fulfillment of the communication strategy outline namely: 1) strategy of communicator selection and planning; 2) messaging strategy; 3) strategy of communication media selection; and 4) Strategy of communicator selection and planning.The results of this research indicate that communication strategy of ministry of religion of the implementation of BSM Program has been already on target. It can be seen from fulfillment component of communication strategy as follows 1) has been choosen a communicator who has educational background in accordance with his job, has a credibility, and has an attractiveness; 2) composed messages using verbal messages that is face to face, monitoring, a letter, and internet access, and nonverbal messages that is body gesture and face expression, using the explanatory message of serving method; 3) has been choosen using a mix of direct media that is face to face, by phone, and by a letter, and indirect media that is the internet media and 4) has been choosen communican in according to the technical guidelines PIP 2016 and determining criteria according to KMA No 258 2015, and has a special reference in determining acceptance criteria of BSM programKeyword: Communication Strategy, BSM Program, Component of Sommunication Strategy.

Abstract

Popularity and high usage of Instagram is one of the reasons of bujang dara pekanbaru association to use Instagram as a promotional tool in selection of bujang dara pekanbaru in hopes of getting the best finalist in every year. the purpose of this research was determining Instagram usage as a promotional media in selection of bujang dara pekanbaru.This research used qualitative methode by descriptive approach. Informan of this research is Public Relation of Bujang Dara Pekanbaru association, admin of @bujangdarapku and Department of tourism Pekanbaru, Dara Pekanbaru 2016th, Finalist of Bujang Pekanbaru 2014th who were selected by using purposive technique. Data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation.The result of research showed that Instagram account @bujangdarapku doing some basic aspects of communication using Instagram, 6 of the 7c Framework that is context and content as attract Instagram user and determine the target. Connection provide convenience acces to users to get information, communication shows a positive interaction between admins adn followers, while commerce encourage cooperation that built benefit for Bujang Dara Pekanbaru.
