<![CDATA[Abstract The dysmenorrhea exercise is an activities that can used for reducing of pain. The aim of this research was to determinedthe effectiveness of dysmenorrhea exercise for recucing primary menstrual pain of adolescents. The design of this research is posttest only control group design. The groups were divided into experiment group and control group. The sample in the research is student of VIII class SMP Negeri 14 Pekanbaru. The total sample were 30 people who were taken by using purposive sampling techniques by noticing to the inclusion criteria. Measuring instruments that used in both groups are numeric rating scale for menstrual pain. Analysis used forunivariate distribution of age and menarche.The bivariateanalyzesused Mann Whitney test. The statistic test show the difference of experiment and control group with p-value 0,016 < α (0,05). It means that dysmenorrhea exercise was effectivefor reducing the primary menstrual pain. The result of this research is expected to be an alternative to reducing the pain of primary menstrual. <![CDATA[Abstract The purpose of this research was to know the relationship of nurses knowledge about universal precaution with universal precautions application in infusion action. This research used descriptive correlation methods with cross sectional approach. This research was conducted at RSUD Indrasari Rengat with 85 respondents. This research used total sampling technique. Measuring instrument of this research used questionnaire and observation sheet. The analysis used univariate and bivariate are using chi-square test. The results showed that there is the relationship of nurses knowledge about universal precaution with universal precautions application in vein insertion with p value 0,011. The results of this research recommends to the hospital to promote the importance of the application of universal precautions methods in nursing care to minimize the risk of infection in hospital Keywords: knowledge, nurses, universal precautions application, vein insertion.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract DiabetesMellitus(DM) is a group of diseasescharacterizedbyhyperglycemiaresulting fromdefectsin insulin secretion, insulin actionor both. One of thecomplications ofdiabetes isperipheral neuropathyin the form ofulcers that influence of quality of life patient's. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship of diabetic ulcers stage with quality of life in patients with type 2 of diabetes mellitus. This research using with descriptive correlation and design using with crosssectional approach. The research was conducted at the RSUD Petala Bumi Pekanbaru on 30 respondents diabetic ulcers using accidental sampling technique with inclusion criteria. The descriptive analyzed was Kolmogorov-Smirnov. The results showed p <0,05 which means there is a relationship between diabetic ulcer stage with quality of life in patients from type 2 of diabetes mellitus with p value = 0.000. <![CDATA[Abstract The purpose of this research was to determine the characteristics of people with the high risk of HIV and AIDS on VCT service program. This research method was a quantitative description of the cross-sectional design. This research was conducted in Puskesmas Simpang Tiga. The sampling method was stratified sampling of respondents 84 people. Measuring instrument used was a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis used was a univariate analysis. The results showed that most respondents have good knowledge (53.6%), a positive perception (54.8%), a positive attitude (56%), and low motivation (59.5%) on HIV/AIDS and VCT service programs. The results of this research are expected to workers public of health, LKB cadres, and non government organization to increase the motivation to people with high risk of HIV and AIDS on VCT service programs to increase visiting on VCT services. <![CDATA[Abstract This study aimed to investigate correlation between perceotion workload and work stress in Emergency and ICU nurses in Eka Hospital Pekan Baru. This study using corelation method with cross sectional approach. Total samples were 46 respondents that recruited by total sampling techniques. Instruments used were 35 questions of workload questionnaire and 35 questions of stress work questionnaire. Data analysis were univariate and bivariate with chi Square. Results of the study showed respondents with light workload perception with work stress were 44,4%, 55,6% with no work stress and had heavy workload with work stress were 53,6%,and 46,4% with no work stress. Result of statistic test showed p value was 0,5>α 0,05 it meant that there was no correlation between workload perception of and workstress. It is adviced to ICU and Emergency nurses to improve coping mechanism in dealing with stess at work. Keywords : Perception of workload, work stress,emergency and icu nurses]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract The purpose of this study was to identify factors associated with early complementary feeding in infants. This was a descriptive correlative study with cross sectional design.This research was conducted in the working area of Sidomulyo Public Health Center Pekanbaru involving 92 respondents. The sampling method was purposive sample. Measuring instrument used was a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that there is a relationship between knowledge (p value = 0.024), activity (p value = 0.005), income (value = 0.022) and health workers recommendation (p value = 0.037) with early complementary feeding, but there is no relationship between the myth (p value = 0.141) with early complementary feeding. The results of this study recommends community health centers to be active to provide health education programs for the prevention of early complementary feeding practice in the working area of Sidomulyo Public Health Center. <![CDATA[Abstract Diabetes mellitus is a diasease who will be happen on a life time. The changes in lifestyle, medication and treatment who must be followed is a cause stress the patient type 2 diabetes mellitus. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between stress and quality of life in patient type 2 diabetes mellitus. The research method used a descriptive correlation design with cross sectional approach. The research was conducted in the impatient unit Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru hospital on 30 respondents who experienced type 2 diabetes mellitus using accidental sampling technique based on the inclusion criteria. Research instrument used a questionnaire was adoption based Depression Anxiety Stress Scale to measure level of stress and WHOQOL-BREEF to measure quality of life. The analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using Kolmogorov-Smirnov. The result showed that there is a relationship between stress and quality of life in patient type 2 diabetes mellitus with degree ρ = 0,024 < α = 0,05. This research concluded that there is a relationship between stress and quality of life in type 2 diabetes mellitus. Based on the result of this research, it is expected for nurse give provide nursing care and stress management for patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus to minimize the stress level, because the severe stress level can also decreased quality of life and aggravate the patient illness especially diabetes mellitus. <![CDATA[Abstract This research is about the relationship of parent’s knowledge about sexual health of children 7-12 years with the attitudes of parent’s in prevention of sexual abuse was conducted in 5 public elementary school in Sukajadi District Pekanbaru with 369 parent’s as respondents. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship of parent’s knowledge about sexual health of children 7-12 years with the attitudes of parent’s in prevention of sexual abuse. This research was descriptive correlation research with cross sectional approach. The samples were taken used cluster sampling technique. The data taken by questionnaire that has been composed by researcher that already tested for validity and reliability. The analysis used chi-square test. The results showed a relationship between parent’s knowledge about sexual health of children 7-12 years with the attitudes of parent’s in prevention of sexual abuse (p value 0,043 < α 0,05). This research recommends to health workers to keep conduct health promotion for increase parent’s knowledge about sexual health to prevent child sexual abuse.
